some of the names I hear maybe sold in the window:
Varney (depends if we can get a forward in)
Norris
Pugh
Drury
Brown
don't no if its true but I've heard he looking to get some younger players in.

The only one I can really see being used at all by us next season is Varney, as a back-up central striker, courtesy of his heading ability; and if a suitable offer came in, I guess he is dispensible as well -though he is one of very few Warnock signings that I warmed too at all -and that was in part due his 'underdog' status. Once Warnock publicly (and inexcusably) derided him for being mentally deficient, I was kind of on the lad's side! Wasn't Warnock just a total PR nightmare? Chapel A

Worth keeping varney norris and drury for depth I think but I can see the other two leaving

I seriously hope that all of these are sold and we some hungrier and younger players in. If we do keep any of these then I agree that it will be Varney who will be kept or maybe Norris but the rest can go.
Really need to sign a centre back and left back, central midfielder, two wingers and a proven striker really. Also maybe a new younger goalkeeper and keep Paddy Kenny as a backup.

Varney has being working hard these past six months, certainly a different player to the one that came in.
I think he's cutting I saw an article as well saying he was starting pre-season earlier, so I'd give the lad another chance.
I think he is one that I would be disappointed to see leave.

Would be delighted to see these dinosaurs go but don't forget Green

Wont be sad to see them all go

I'd expect Varney to stay given his late season form and Drury worth keeping as cover- Norris injured so probably staying other 2 will go
Agree0

Green has a role to play next season, I think, in the deeper role he started to make his own under Brian. While we're on footballing dinosaurs, though, I must just throw Austin's name into the mix. Chapel A

Who would buy them though?
Agree0

No purchase needed for any of these - just get rid of them - absolutely not needed if we are chasing promotion.

Why would people want to get rid of green. he's in the ROI squad for god sake

Bolton and Leeds have agreed the price on Matt Mills. Expect to see him signed early in the transfer window (providing the player and club agree terms) as Brian McDermott is keen for him to be put on the fitness plan, ready for the start of pre-season.
Leeds UTD have also held prelimenary discussions with GSM, regarding ex Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. They are also awaiting a response from Pat Dolan as to what kind of contract Ebanks-Blake's former team mate Stephen Hunt is looking for.
Brian Mcdermott is still keen on Luke Steele if he becomes available on a free in June.

Ebanks-Blake out with a broken leg until late September/early October then he will have to build up match fitness, so early December? What is the point
Hunt is on £35k, well was, at Wolves. Well out of our price range

Not good enough to wear the shirt

How do you know how much hunt is on are you his agent or something.

At the age of only 26 Mills has been at 9 different clubs lasting not lasting more than 2 years at any of them, there's obviously something wrong with his commitment or something, at this time in our clubs development I don't think he's the risky type of player we need in our dressing room

Why would leeds discuss Hunt and Ebanks-Blake with wolves, both a free agents now

Leeds reportedly interested in signing Jean-Byran Boukaka from Tours. He is a 21 year old striker. I have no idea if he's any good and what his attributes are, but this was on insidefutbol

He is out of contract on 30-6 13, that's all I know about him though

He's really fast and can be played out on either wings or up front but I don't think he's as good as Dom poleon but this guy could be like gradel he's a very good prospect.

I checked his statistics and apparently played 12 matches this season, scoring 0 goals and got 2 assists.
9 Starts and brought off, 3 times brought off the bench. Apparently though he can play left and right wing as well.

His return isn't too startling! but who knows he might surprise us! 3rd striker at best for me!
