Sg now ready to offload
paynter to make room for
another striker.
Believable16

I so bloody hope so, but im not sure if anyone will want him, he'd struggle to get in out sunday league team..lol

If be needs a lift anywhere anytime. I am free... I will chauffeur him there
Agree0
Disagree0
That should read "to make room for A striker. The word "another" falsely implies that Paynter is a striker.

Hats off to evertons chairman. Publicly declaring their skint then meeting the hardcore fans to discuss where the club is going.
Believable10
Unbelievable4
Hates off to ridsdale then in that case, We lived the dream, now we are skint so we are sealing everything but the goldfish. Another useless chairman spending money he aint got and putting the club into danger.
They could all take a leaf out of Ken Bates book. Least Leeds arent in debt anymore. and when we get to premiership this year...Leeds will be one of the most appetising clubs for sponsors and investors knowing the club is financially stable, in fact rather wealthy as you get £60m just for tv money.

keep same team as tuesdays win as they did well, bring gradel on for last half hour to run at west hams tired legs and howson too, they should be dropped for their actions and if we perform like tues we have every chance with the same starting 11
Believable11
Unbelievable5
Dropped for their actions? u obviously didnt attend the boro game then? neither of them should have been sent off.... neither should there player. the ref was a joke. so before u comment on 'there actions' u need to realise what they are? but i agree the same 11 should be used on sunday. cant see it tho. think kogh will start upfront alone with howson in for ross and probs gradel in for nunez
Agree0
Disagree0
Howson took his first yellow card for the team And he shouldnt have been sent off of it wasnt for the s**t ref changing he mind when he knew the player dived So yo are saying that howson shouldnt come back into the starting 11 because he took his red card for the benifit of the team?
Agree0
Disagree0
What red card benefits a team???? maybe his first wasnt a yellow but he was carrying it and then got another. we can moan about refs all day long but they both were carrying yellows and should have been proffesional not to get a 2nd
Agree0
Disagree0
Ps i was at the game in the kop as i am every week
Agree0
Disagree0
I agree with 2nd post i think sg thinks keogh can play the lone role what mcormack cant.
Agree0
Disagree0
Gradel defo a red-no question so since his actions probably cost us 3 points then no, he shouldn't walk back into the team. Plus Nunez did enough Tuesday to keep his place and Gradel will have to try and dislodge him. If Howson plays then who is dropped? We look far better playing 4-4-2 so that leaves Brown and whilst I may not be his biggest fan we do not have anyone who could do that job so why not leave a winning team alone.
Agree0
Disagree0
However, you forget howsons second yellow was a dive by emnes so you can't really punish him but i agree with punishing gradel...
Agree0
Disagree0
I think Howson comes in for Brown and Gradel comes on in the second half. Everyone has their own opinion, but there is no way in this world should any of the 3 players have been sent off. Anyone with common sense should see that. A ref which gets paid alot of money changes his mind and sends Howson off May have summet to do with the fact that he is from scumchester and sent players off against Sheff U last season. Anyway, lets get a result on sunday. MOT

I would keep same team.. Don't break up a winning combination .. Change it at HT if needs be. MOT

There is no way on God's Green Earth that Santa Cruz will come to Leeds. He'll go out on loan to another Prem Club or now QPR have cash I wouldn't be surprised if they buy him. As for Bullard keep him. Clayton and Johnny are the future.
Believable10
Unbelievable6
Man city don't loan players to other Prem clubs....do you not know anything.
+ QPR haven't mentioned any interest in him.

To previous response. Where did City's Onuoha play last season? Oh yeah, that other PREMIERSHIP team Sunderland Muppet.
Agree0

Santa cruz also was loan out to Blackburn last season

They dnt loan players out to good PL teams. Why do you think they wouldnt sell/loan the likes of given out to arsenal.

My friend is at medical services and time to time does get called up at Elland Road
as per the medical team and stuff he tells me
Grayson has had contact with Man city for availability of Santa cruz.
Grayson is planning to get an experienced striker in, its either forssell or santa cruz depending on their medical availability and fitness.
my friend also told me he has seen killgallon around ER
Believable12
Unbelievable11
Funny how Kilgallon said he won't go back to Leeds. Stop with lies please.
Agree0
Disagree0
Kilgallon would be good to have back, but doubt we'll sign neither forsell or santa cruz and its not like its a hard decision to make isit, but soz dont believe this thread as of alot of threads at the moment
Agree0
Disagree0
"Depending upon their medical"? Surely Forssell has (relatively) proved his fitness in the reserves? And if it came down to all three criteria, it'd be Santa Cruz hands-down, but I just can't see it happening, unless Man City are that desperate they pay a substantial cut of his wages. What's our ceiling, £11k/week?
Agree0
Disagree0
How many times. Players dont go to Elland Road to sign. Leeds only play games at ER everything else is dealt with at Thorp Arch. If your gunna lie at least try and make it believable.
Agree0
Disagree0
Kilgallon said ages ago that he would'nt wanna go back toa prev club, whats saying his outlook and mindset has'nt changed since then.

Ive also seen killgallon around ER....about 5 years ago tho

Leeds United are to extend striker Mikael Forssell's trial into next week, while the club are also looking at American forward Tony Taylor. However, Felix Luz has left having failed to win a deal.

The same tom shaw that just signed for cambridge?

I love the fact you are so sure, and I am just as sure that it's a complete lie.... Santa cruz will not be coming to ellend road face it and get behind the 'real' set of players we have

Cant believe we didnt give a contract to Lux and now he has gone We should have given a contract to mendy aswell
Believable10
Unbelievable11
Why? Your basing Lux on a hat-trick scored in a non-competetive game against Farsley? We haven't signed him because he is probably no better than Billy Paynter
Agree0
Disagree0
When a 29 year olds video of their best bits is as poor as his was how did anyone take him seriously. German third division player who no one else thought was good enough - he got a hat trick against Farsley so probably worth a punt if you are a non league club .... oh and did I mention he is very injury prone

Mendy gone to chesterfield i think so he cant be that good

Leeds united interested in Leicester striker darius vassell as he has been pushed down the pecking order at Leicester. He will definately be leaving if Leicester sign another striker not definatley to leeds but apparently Leeds have shown an early interest. Mot.
Believable4
Unbelievable11
Not a chance mate. He's ageing and will have a fairly high wage and beyond what bates would be willing to give for a decent player.
Agree0
Disagree0
Why would we want Leicester City's s**t castoffs, they are getting new strikers in because their current ones couldn't score in a brothel. That's why Leicester will be in a relegation battle unless they can get some decent strikers in.

Bullard in negotiations with Leeds = 'Bulls**t'
Roque 'Santa Clause' coming to Leeds = As real his near namesake
Tevez however...?
Believable6
Unbelievable12
Tevez is a dead cert, Mancini said that Leeds was interested and as soon as inter milan heard that they backed off him because they knew Leeds was the only team who could afford his wages and transfer fees... And everybody is saying Ken Bates doesnt like spending his money ;)

Heard Bullard in negotiations with Leeds. Bullard is a handful though. He is apparently having his contract terminated after smashing a tea cup over Nigel Pearson's head in one incident, and setting fire to Nick Barmby at a pre-season camp in another. Not sure if we need a character like that. Good player though he is.
Believable6
Unbelievable13
If he set fire to Nick Barmby we definitely should get the lad in. Besides, a proven player at all levels and set piece taker to boot. We need the lad, just ban him from playing with matches and make him drink tea out of a polystyrene cup like the rest of us.
Agree0
Disagree0
I very much doubt these Bullard rumours, wages being one of the main reasons. Love the "setting fire to Nick Barmby" -one
Agree0
Disagree0
I am a Hull white, Bullard is always around town centre and Princes Avenue, pissed up and in scrapes, (he has minders with him). Always injured, not the player he was we shouldn't go anywhere near him, he's trouble and finished.
Agree0
Disagree0
He would be a great signing but the word from around the ricoh arena is sammy clingan wants to leave for leeds but birmingham, forest,,wolves want him but he wants to push threw a deal to leeds he will play saturday then the clubs will start to pull up a deal for the cm
Agree0

JB is not the kind of personality we need right now, let alone we have enough younger players of the same ability in his position. wouldn't be worth the risk. more likely to go to QPR.

Its a pity he didn"t set fire to barmby before we wasted our money on him. mot
