He doesn't fit into the Cellino description of the type of player he would be signing, which was young and hungry. McDermott is still on holiday and I wouldn't mind betting we will have a new manager when he has his meeting with Cellino on the 28th

I don't think we'll be bringing in any ex-PL players, as their wages demands will be enormous and the wage bill needs slashing, not adding to.

Hopefully when he gets the £40 million from selling Cagliari he will pay the £1 million off to David Haigh and Sport Capital and get rid of them once and for all.
