I think Steve Evans deserves a chance. He can't be any worse and if he can motivate this team then good on him. I know it is ridiculous sacking a manager after 12 games but unfortunately Rosler showed no signs at all that he could improve us as a team in fact we were going backwards. We arguably have a better squad and finally have wingers but performances were no better.

A number of people felt this was not a lack of talent in the players but they were badly coached and directed by the management team. This may be true and time will tell. Evans is obviously a short term fix but I don't think we will ever get anything else under this owner who is now banned again. It is time MC was forced to sell up, but again I would say, give Evans a chance, this situation is not his fault.

Good shout scoops.

We might as well get behind him you might not see us from the front but we might as well get behind him.

I wonder if Cellino knew he was going to be banned and thought he would rather take a chance than stick with a situation which was not getting results no matter how well we were playing.

I'm off to get my sombrero out!

Im not a fan of Evans as a person and I don't really like the style of football his teams play. That said I am more optimistic about his appointment than Rosler. If nothing else he has a track record of getting teams over the line in terms of promotion and getting teams on a budget playing better than you would expect them to. My guess is we will start to play a much more physical game (well we will foul more at least) and the team will tighten up to try make us harder to break down. More keeping us up that tearing the division up but since he is on a rolling contract my guess is he has come in as a night watchman to see Cellinos ban out rather than the top order batsman that we will hopefully bring in next season if the ban stands (ps Damn you Redfern for using cricket terms in relationship to football, i've started doing it now) .

On SPN Cellino disqualified by football league after failing to meet owners and directors test.

He has and we should be shouting for Gus Poyet.
Cellino will probably get in someone called Dave who once watched a game of football on something his kid called an xbox.
Can we PLEASE have a manager who can motivate and who is not so arrogant as to think that he doesn't need a plan 'B'. PLEASE!
Just for a change. It's not much to ask, is it?
Look at the team you're playing and pick a formation, tactics and players to nullify threats and provide plenty of attacking options.
GUSTAVO POYET WOULD FIT THE BILL, NICELY.

Are you all deluded or what? It's MC ruining our great football club, we could have Mourinho in charge and still wouldn't be any better, Do you all really think Byram would be sat warming the bench if it was down to UR? Under strict orders not to be played! Our club will not progress until Cellino has gone! That a fact.

No point in calling for quality managers. Steve Evans is about the level we are at just now. Nobody decent would go within 100 miles of Cellino.

That's fine. Cellino isn't allowed within 100 miles of Leeds United, right now.
