McLeish to Leeds is latest. Pearson is leaving Leicester and getting Martin Oneil, Oleary will not return until KB is out for good

Pearson would be a good choice. Has done a decent job at Leicester twice and Hull

Decent job waaaaat loads a money spent not even top 6 no thanks

I may have missed something but what would Ken Bates have to do with O'leary not wanting the job? O'leary was sacked in 2002, KB didn't take over til 2005.

Jones and Jepson have gone too. Neil Redfearn will be asked to take control of first team coaching until a permanent appointment is made. This may well be after the end of the season. Eddie Gray said it is not a surprise.

We cannot afford to wait until the end of the season we might be relegated Redfearn will pick up zero points!

To the poster - 'redfearn will pick up zero points'.
Always positive aren't you!
I agree we need to get a new manager as soon as possible, but give it a rest with the negativity.

Wouldn't have hurt to put naylor in charge. ?

WARNOCK GONE. JUST ANNOUNCED ON RADIO. A NEW ERA FOR LEEDS. I SAY GET YOUTH IN (THEY WON THEIR LEAUGE), MORE PACE AND MORE OPTIMISM.
Believable40
Unbelievable9
Whilst I have no doubts the youth team who won their league are going to be great for the future only a couple would be any good. The championship is still a big step up from playing u-18s week in week out.

I thought Neil Warnock & GFH was the new era!

Why so pessamistic its pathetic how much Leeds fans look for the most outcome in everything nowadays
Agree1

Putting an inexperienced manager in charge till the end of the season is worrying, as to poster asking why so pessimistic, have you looked at the table, 5 points off the bottom 3, transfer and loan deadline gone!I for 1 will not be partying yet!

Remember last time he covered as manager, we were awful. Hate to say this but I think we will struggle to stay in the league. Hope i'm wrong MOT!

I just heard on the radio Leeds United's manager Neil Warnock did not come out of the dressing room and talk to the press after the defeat today. Following that tv local reporter tweeted that Warnock will not be in charge for the next game. Warnock has said he will step down. David Flitcroft is the man for the job
Believable4
Unbelievable26
That'll be the David Flitcroft who has just a couple of months' experience at the foot of the Championship with Barnsley. Think seriously about what you posted, you surely don't need me to tell you what a daft idea that is.

Warnocks gone, who next? Who ever it is they will need backing to bring in quality players and not some third rate as beens or never beens

He gave an interview on yorkshire radio i listened on way home?

To the first reply. Why don't you check you facts before you post. Look at Flitcrofts record since he took over at Barnsley. What a daft reply!

Warnock has resigned! :)
Time for O'Leary to come back and get us back where we belong
Believable24
Unbelievable16
NO, NO, NO
Not O'Dreary who has singularly failed in every appointment since Leeds. Also must shoulder part of the blame for our demise given his ridiculous transfer activity and unbalanced squad.

Every time we have a poor run, which should never have happened, I say the same thing. In our life time we saw the best football of our lives under him. We were proud, the country were wanting to watch Leeds on Saturday and Sunday on Sky. We had it good! We thought we would win the premier league at the time. But it never happened because the powers that B sold Rio and sacked our manager! The five year plan was cut short. the rest is history!
It breaks my heart to see Elland Road empty as it is, when it should be full and twice as large. We missed our opportunity but Man United did not. Look at them since.
Which manager has ever shown the passion O'Leary did to the club. Nobody!
He has said he has unfinished business. We are scraping the bottom of barrel now. Give him the chance to make us proud again!
Right now we are poor! The worst period in my life time and I'm 41!
O'Leary, O'Leary, O'Leary, O'Leary!
Agree1
Disagree3
Don't talk soft, why would we want O'Leary back, he would only move us on by spending shed loads of cash, that's the only reason he had success before with a clown of a chairman who ruined the club, move on or should we get Chapman back up front!
Agree2
Disagree0
O'Leary can only work with money and resources, we have no money and the only resource we have is the academy (a good one at that) all the big clubs cherry pick all the players with half decent potential, how long will it be until byram and dawson go!
Agree0
Disagree0
Totally agree with the Pro O'Leary sentiments. The guy had us playing real attacking and exciting football and got us to the semi finals of the Champions League and UEFA Cups. He spent money as he was assured there was money in the kitty to back it up. He DID NOT control the purse strings. Real Leeds fans know the truth. It's time to bring him back, NOW.
Agree2
Disagree2
O"Leary has done nothing since leaving and despite spending millions upon millions at Leeds which trophies did he actually win and it is fact after his book that he lost the dressing room so not quite sure why some fans continue to go on about him each time we need a new manager.
If not Brian McDermott then I would like a new hungry manager with respect to be given a go and Jamie Carragher would be a good choice. Never know he may even bring in some decent loan players from Liverpool
Agree0
Disagree1
Real OBJECTIVE Leeds fans were a bit unhappy at the signing and playing of Robbie Fowler whilst Robbie Keane warmed the bench. We also weren't happy about the ridiculous amount shelled out for Seth Johnson who cost us approximately £220,000 for each of the few games he played.
O'Leary was very much a part of our demise with some extremely poor signings. He inherited a near-perfect set-up from George Graham, had a few seasons of joy and then broke it so badly it's still not fixed.
Agree1
Disagree0
The ONLY reason Leeds were playing attractive football when O'Leary took over from George Graham is that Eddie Gray was No. 2. Pure and Simple, not down to O'Leary's tactics, as he didn't replicate it when he went to Villa

Seen this on the YEP app,
United did not make Adkins a formal offer and are presently engaged in talks about the sale of a 51 per cent share in the club to local businessman Steve Parkin.
Parkin, who spent last week in Dubai, is understood to have agreed the terms of the purchase of a majority and controlling interest in Leeds but the deal is subject to ongoing due diligence and far from a formality.
Don't believe me read it yourself

Parkin hasn't got the brass fact. Would be no better off. Life long dream for him to own the club and don't get me wrong I would like to be a pound behind him but once he has bought the club, he won't have any cash to invest.

I saw Warnock on TV last night. Here are the facts:
1. He says GFH don't know much about football.
2. He says he make take 'a job upstairs' instead of full retirement.
3. He says he is already advising GFH on the new manager.
The rumour is Warnock to take a job upstairs after helping appoint the new manager. You heard it here first.
Believable9

If it was on TV last night why did I hear it here first!
Agree0

He said that a few weeks ago, but he won't take a job with us. He wants to go back to the south coast to be with his family. That's where he'll consider taking a job.
He said that he thinks there is room for someone between the manager and the board, and that's what he wants to do.

Hope he does leave after game but richard naylor would be bad choice we've had enough unproven managers and naylor would be the worst we need a proven mananger like martin o neill brian mcdermott or even roberto di matteo if they do appoint naylor it will prove they have no cash or even any ambition

Warnock may go after today but a permanent appointment will not be made until the Steve Parkin situation is resolved one way or the other. A deal is supposedly agreed in principle but due dilligence under way. Parkin will have his own ideas so no appointment in the immediate future.

O please be true awful performance varney pearce morrison all poor
Agree0

Where is the passion? Very poor performance from most of the Warnock signings today. Byram and Dawson looked like the only two who cared today until McCormack came on and injected a bit of urgency to proceedings.
Agree0
Disagree0
Only byram, macca and Dawson really played well today. wtf are Varney, Morison, Austin, Pearce, peltier and the useless diouff ever doing playing for Leeds. they are dross, the team were useless headless people who couldn't get into a league one side
Agree0
Disagree0
What a ridiculous call from the previous post, yes varney was terrible and morrison was quiet, but peltier played quite well, pearce made one mistake, austin tried hard and diouff (as much as he falls over) takes 2 men to mark and creates space for strikers.
