Been told now that finances have been given to BMD, he will look further into a deal which will bring Gary Mackay-Steven to Elland Road. Would be a great signing

Would be great but we've signed 1 player which as cost a million doesn't mean they will spend any more big money if they do than great if they don't atleast we signed 1 decent player. MOT

Vastly overrated player, GMS should stand for "Give Me Strength". A few showy tricks, with very little end product in a league bereft of real quality. If you want any further proof, I give you two words of warning, "David Goodwillie".

This lad is terrible. he's got a few tricks but he's hardly set that league on fire and that league is a worse league than the championship so he would just fail

Heard about this rumour alot, hopefully BmD can pull it off! Quality young player and apparantley fancies a move to the mighty whites!

Let's not get carried away. As much as I'd love Gradel to come back, I can't see it. Especially at that ridiculous price!

There is no Gradel deal at all and Mills will join on loan if he comes at all (which I sincerely hope he does)

Love to see gradel back but not at 3.8m. what would his wages be at that price.

Matt Mills I would sign, solid defender and would do very well with Lees. I agree that Noel Hunt will join but I hope not maybe Kevin Doyle would be a much better option.

Hopefully we will now sign another goalkeeper and a pacey, skillful winger. Adomah, Gradel would be perfect.

Deluded! £3.8 million for Gradel. Your off your rocker mate. There are better players out there for a fraction of this. Post something that is remotely true or accurate.

i previously replied to the Gradel rumours having spoken to the Chief scout of the Mags who was looking at some other player. he said that Gradel was so much improved as a player, cutting defenses to ribbons. I think he is out of our league (sadly),

It's upsetting after many a year of Alan Smith being seen in the car park that he hasn't been seen this time. Come on guys, let's bring back the Alan Smith rumours lol.

I seem to remember price for Gradel was around £2. 25m but we only got £1. 75m of it because of sell on fee paid to Leicester and fees paid to football league

Gradel is now 2 good 4 us and that price is about right for him tbh. he's another level above the championship now

Total fan fantasy, no way have we got £3.8m to spend on a single player. Mills would be a stretch as well, though loan remains a possibility. A seriously deluded post.

were not getting a new away shirt as it said when we got it that it was 2012/14 not 2012/13 {Ed013's Note - I believe there will be a 3rd strip to replace the black one}

There will be a new 3rd strip. The black shirt is being sold for £10 at the club shop.

I quite liked the black away shirt. Think it's not as bad as the ford fiesta sport home kit for this season. That looks ridiculous

Need something to replace the 1st strip

Definately new away shirt coming out, mate who works in Leeds United Store says expects it to be launched and worn in the Nurnburg match at Elland Road in Pre Season.

Past couple of seasons leeds have moved their away kit too the 3rd kit the next season so can expect a NEW away shirt this season

Yeah the blue away shirt will become the 3rd kit replacing the black one, got a feeling our new away shirt will be gold.

I have spoken to the leeds commercial team today and there will be a new away shirt for the coming season, they just couldn't tell me when it would be launched

Looks like we could be having a new third kit guys!

Its still black. But it has a yellow stripe start on the right shoulder going out into a v-shape to come back in to the right hip. The material inside of the yellow V is green. Its mainly lycra, and has the typical keeps-you-warm-in-the-cold properties.


The pitch entry music is also changing to "I can see clearly now the rain has gone".


This is all subject to us signing Chris Humphrey and re-signing Jermaine Beckford, both of whom will, as Rodolph Austin has, be given a bobsleigh as their mode of transport!

Matt mills is is one of B McD's targets and it is a strong possibility to fit into our squad. After the signings of Luke Murphy and Matt Smith and after the possibility signing matt mills, I am starting to see their game plan already, the 3 boys are 6ft 7, 6ft 1 and 6ft 2. Hoof Hoof Hoof

Disagree, play football to the feet using good wingers who can put ball in to net, with Luke murphy breaking to latch on to the defended ball. Need a good towering centre back to defend all the other hoof ball teams with quality of lees next to him BMc knows what he is doing. I see leeds playing 3 at back with two wing backs White and Byram, Austin and green, murphy playing just behind McCormack and smith for the crosses knocked back or forward. I think is frills come just need a keeper, as I do not rate Kenny any more. Just an opinion, we got remember we all leeds, let's be positive

What's wrong with having height in a team?! Even with creative football u have corners, crosses and free kicks where height comes in useful not to mention when defending.

You don't need tall defenders and midfielders to play hoof ball. and a tall striker doesn't necessarily mean we will play hoof ball either. Peter crouch is pretty decent with the ball at feet for a 6 ft 7 guy

Following on from Ruid Gulliit ect. Beckam is over 6 ft, YaYa Tourey 6ft 3ins Garath Bale well over 6 ft. You obviously havn't seen Luke play, watch him run the Freight Rover Final at wembley on You Tube. More like him please Brian.

Great news about Murphy, I just hope the next signing isn't Noel Hunt, average IMO and better with younger players, too many 30 year old's already. Disappointed if it is Hunt, hope its a winger.

Bursaspor have confirmed that Wigan have enquired but there is nothing set in concrete and certainly no mention (that I can find) of 800k. It would be nice to steal this one from that side of the Pennines as well.

I'm hearing that there is a huge press conference for Leeds tomorrow. Big news on new Chairman, Investment and transfers. Salem Patel has tweeted tonight for the first time in months. Journalists are a buzz with rumours of Leeds saying "big week of news for the club". I'm praying that this is correct and that we actually have something to drown out the noise from all the negativity. I'm excited by next season and I purchased my first ever season ticket a few weeks ago. I live 85 miles away from Elland Road and work 50-55 hours in retail every week. So it was a huge decision to buy my season ticket and a hell of a lot of travelling. MOT LUFC!!

I also am excited about the new season ans although I live and work in SE Asia I have bought my membership and will travel home for as many games as I can.
