Its technically true, as all players will have an operation at some point.
So I do believe in the future sam will have an operation but they are putting it off until he picks up an injury that requires one.

As the post says "investments" I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's for a full-on buy-out with an open-book transfer kitty, a weekly wage budget of £300, 00, immediate buy back of Elland Road and Thorpe Arch, along with plans of increasing capacity to 60,000+
