You heard it hear first everybody paul green will be wearing a leeds shirt next season?

Believable24 Unbelievable13

We didn't hear it here first. This something like the 20th time someone has posted it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jason pearce thought to be the mystery signing not sure bout the price or if he out of contract can anyone enlighten me?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's still under contract as he signed from bournemouth in the summer but portsmouth haven't got any money so shouldn't be too expensive

Agree0 Disagree0

Ipswich may push the price up as they have tried to buy him on mote than one occasion.Prob be half a million

The clear out has begun, Parker,
Varynenn and now Darren O Dea,
have it pretty sound authority that
there are at least another 8 squad
players to be released and 3 sold if
offers received if not they will be LU
players next season. More worryingly
should colin's prefered men stall on
contracts he will listen to offers for
all of them (Snodgrass to West Brom
or Norwich is gathering momentum in
the press).
As for the ins I am told Jepson is in
Edinburgh so that covers Hearts,
Rangers, Hibernian and Kilmarnock
over the weekend and Jones is
heading in to the Midlands to cover
two games, guessing Coventry,
Doncaster then Wolves Man City
(not suggesting we would even look
at signing any one from Man City,
even I am not that deluded).

Believable3 Unbelievable13

Why no1 from man city we've signed 2 recent years ie Clayton and Gonzales although that love affair didn't work ,we must be liked by the blue side of Manchester ,why not some of the youth/ fringe players they must have some real quality youth waiting in the wings what better way to show their manager they could do well by comming to championship with Leeds big gates, pressure, and hopefully talented side this season comming!! MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Jepson and Jones are in Wales. If you're going to make stuff up, at least do your homework.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whether Jepson and Jones are in Wales is completely irrelevant to my post, the homework as you call it has been done and the facts are Edinburgh and Midlands both doing 2 games and looking at the fixtures, those teams shown are the most likely games they will be attending, and point taken re City

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh and by the way to the second poster Do your homework look at the OS

Agree0 Disagree0

Good first post- sounds good.
Homework done is all I can say!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds are in wales today not Jepson and jones!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Weird rumour I've heard Milner back to us on loan only a rumour heard it through a journalist friend of mine {Ed020's Note - never going to happen. milner is an amazing player, whose doing an amazing job at man city.}

Paul green rejects Derby contract offer! It was reported earlier in week on SSN that Warnock was ready to pounce?

I wonder.....

Believable23 Unbelievable5

If this is true, we know he will be leaving derby. whether he joins us or not is a different matter. i havnt seen much of him, how much quality does he have?

Agree0 Disagree0

(original poster)

Tbh mate I haven't seen him much either but I live in notts n have many derby mates who rate him very well. I also assume there will be more than Leeds interested so the fact hes leaving means squat at this stage.

Time will tell

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he any good....i dont take any notice of derby?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think were interested but dont hold out hope.... Hull is his preferred destination and they seem likely to get him.

Darren O'Dea not getting a permanent deal with Leeds greatest news of season. There is a god.

Believable33 Unbelievable4

What is the source? im glad to hear this if it is true

Agree0 Disagree0

! well said mate... what a pile of s.... he was.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank god we didn't offer D O'dea a contract their are far better cb out their how about zak whitbread for 1 and scores goals as well as solid,Ferdinand no not the kn b 1 any1 else you lot can think of ? We need hard as nails cb as our last few seasons we've had soft rs's that get bullied come of MR Warnock give us a clue get our minds buzzing,Futures now WHITE MOT to prem

Agree0 Disagree0

O'Dea is his own worst enemy, thank God he got himself sent off again....

its darren ambrose from crystal palace midfielder who has signed and anton ferdinand

Believable34 Unbelievable16

Phil Hay confirmed that the player who has agreed to sign has not previously worked with Warnock . . Green from Derby imo

Agree0 Disagree0

To the above post. it cant be green from derby as he is in negotiations with derby about a new deal. its on SS website quoting him. i think the player is likely to be a little surprise and probably not a name thats been branded about up till now

Agree0 Disagree0

Green has rejected the contract offer, won't play again this season and will leave on a free in the summer. Source - DCFC website.

Tbh I no Leeds are interested according to reports but I think 4/5 other clubs will be too

Agree0 Disagree0

Paul green has rejected derby's contract offer. BBC Website

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you'll find Green has refused a new deal from Derby mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Hasn't green rejected Derbys contract and said hell be leaving on a free

Agree0 Disagree0

I have also heard ambrose will be the name signed first

Agree0 Disagree0

Green seems more realistic when you realise he was born in pontefract so probably a leeds fan :)

Warnock has sent Ronnie Jepson and Mick Jones on scouting missions this weekend instead if them attending the Cardiff game. This is great news. Already looking towards next season.

Sebastien Squillaci to sign on season long loan next year, adding depth and strength at the back. Wage negotiations still ongoing between the 2 clubs.

Believable11 Unbelievable6

Poor defender for Arsenal and valued at £1.8m, no chance and not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whether this is true or not... i dont want him at leeds. he cant do what his title says and thats defend.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is it when rumours come out we all suddenly become experts even when we probably havent seen the player play that often. Besides this is just a rumour anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes a hell of alot better than defenders we've got doubt this true tho would think he's off back to france

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock has already stated more than once that there will be no loanees next season

Agree0 Disagree0

All i can say is.......GET REAL? why would we want another dodgy cb,warnock knows who he wants and he will get them!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not good enough ? We're not challenging the top 4 in the Premier League. If Arsenal thought he was good enough to play in the Champions League at one point against the best players in the world then I think he will do a good job in the Championship.

Darren O’Dea has played his last game for Leeds United with manager Neil Warnock announcing that the on-loan defender will not be offered a permanent deal at Elland Road.O’Dea is to leave Leeds at the end of his season-long loan from Celtic after failing to convince Warnock to sign him when his contract at Parkhead expires in two months’ time.Warnock considered the option closely and met with O’Dea’s agent for preliminary talks last month, suggesting that he would recruit the 25-year-old on a free transfer ahead of the 2012-13 Championship season. But O’Dea’s time at Elland Road has ended with the red card and suspension he incurred at Blackpool on Tuesday night and Warnock is pursuing other options to play in the centre of Leeds’ defence next term.

Warnock said: “Whilst he’s done well, I’ve spoken to him and told him I’ll be going in a different direction next season.

“I’ve got people in mind who I want to bring in during the summer and I’m working towards making that happen.”

Believable8 Unbelievable3

It's true, lets all celebrate the garbage being sent back to glasgow

Agree0 Disagree0

One down - plenty more to go! Let's face it, how many of this year's first team squad would you like to see again next season - any advance on 5 ??

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's a bit harsh calling him garbage. He may not have been a superstar but as far as centre-halves go he certainly wasn't the worst. In fact he was probably the best of a bad bunch!

Agree0 Disagree0

The whole defence needs to be shown the door ,lets just see were they all end up next year and how many Grayson comes for, they were his buys so i expect bids from Grayson for all of them.NOT.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lonergan, Clayton, Snodgrass, McCormack and Becchio

Everybody else is easily replaced

Agree0 Disagree0

Players I expect to be shown the door: Paynter,Bromby,Bruce,Rachubka,Connolly. All awful players.

Agree0 Disagree0

I feel that saying out of the full squad 5 are irriplacable is a bit harsh. look at aidy white and tom lees. both young and got great futres a head of them

O'dea not to be offered a contract after his loan expires due to him pubicaly criticising warnock and bates

Believable4 Unbelievable8

No, O'dea(r)s contract is cancelled due to his inability to stay on the pitch!!

I for one am glad!!
