I really don't think we need any one, hall, habibou, played some academy games so looks like we might actually give them some game time, we should stick to 4. 3. 3 formation with the same players and we got a good Bench as well got a good felling about reaching play off looks like were going to give it everything Leeds ls6

Slipped through the net? Who said we were even interested in him :-

Boyd wants a crack at prem football he would not get that at leeds not next season he will with hull

Agree2 Disagree1

Was not one of our targets, warnock had said so

Agree2 Disagree2

Boyd has had one recent game where he excelled (vs Millwall) - no coincidence Hull's scout was probably watching?

If Boyd had played like that all season the Peterborough probably wouldn't be where they are now?

Do you really think we need someone that only performs when it suits him?

(We have enough of them already. )

Agree1 Disagree1

Don't see hull going up, cardiff and watford, and prob palace or brighton

Agree1 Disagree0

Boyd is better than anything we have at the moment and was available for a knock down price due to contract expiring. If GFH had any intention of taking us up he would have been snapped up.

When a business is sold as a going concern the new owners undertake to meet the ongoing and due liabilities. The (very) extensive due diligence process will have picked up what needed to be provided for and you will find the release of funds will have been planned from the outset. The TV money from the FA cup and gate receipts from the replay would not have been factored in as it would have been prudent to assume the worse. It is likely therefore the business (our beloved club) will be in a healthier position than would have been budgeted for.

Just hope we can get out of this nightmare

The tv money from the FA cup will be used to either pay Bates or reduce the money borrowed by GFH to " buy" Leeds. Why are GFH asking for extra investment if they had the TV money free to use.

Agree0 Disagree0

Depends if you've accounted for drop in ticket sales this year might cancel each other out

@reply2. I assume GFH are asking for extra investment because they are an investment bank, that is the very nature of there job.

Why do some still think money is owed to Bates it isn't the takeover was COMPLETED in Dec. There are no monies outstanding I have posted before there is no way you would give up your position as the main share holder and Executive chairman on the board at LUFC on the promise of payment. Forget that story its false and a net rumour. The FA approved this and again the directors were assessed as fit and proper to conduct the actual business of running a club and had to prove the funds were available to buy LUFC.

New investors will generate revenue for the owners and increase LUFC stock values. Investment banks are very shrewd with their own investments and like most banks always risk averse, this isn't a whim or something they have managed to convince their own board may or may not work. GFH will have a structured investment plan for LUFC. It may be short term but they won't flip us without approval from their own board and investors. Its not private individuals that own LUFC its an Investment bank and they are bound by financial parameters and governed by their parent company and own board. No one knows what their strategy is we can only assume they want to make their own company money and this is most likely with the club having more success.
