affriad to say we need smithy back for a bit of bite in the middle of the park and for insperation.

Believable27 Unbelievable44

Here we go again with the Smith rubbish, theres much better, younger players than him, thats why hes playing in the lowere divisions, hes well past it,give it a rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be good and would give the fans a real lift

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this not what Brown's been doing the past few games?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeahh maybe brown has but smithy is a bit special to leeds and would give the fans a real boost and would have a hugh impact on lufc

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think it's bite we need in midfield but creativity

Agree0 Disagree0

PLEASE stop going on about Smith. A bit special!!! When was that? He has not played for as long as I can remember at any sort of level.
It would be a step in the wrong direction.

Agree0 Disagree0

You're right. No-one has mentioned Smith for a while. Probably is the right time to bring up this nothing story again...

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi, please stop going on about Alan Smith, he was, (is), at best, on a good day, an average player, did not make it as a striker, (check his record), so he became a midfielder?! Easy option. If I seem harsh, bite me. If he wanted to play for Leeds he would already be at Leeds, who is next? Parlane?,Palmer?,Brolin?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Been there, done that... move on. SMITH had a chance and didnt take it. He's not making news for any fantastic performance so why consider a 'has been'. Sentiment has long past. WARNOCK slated Bechio for not being able to jump, move or pass after an hr. We need guys who are prepared to run their legs off week in week out and deliver results

Agree0 Disagree0

The same Alan smith who's currently playing very average whilst on loan to MK dons?

Agree0 Disagree0

Tough call as on paper the guy would have a lot to prove and hasn't set the world alight in League One with MK Plastics, however, it was clear that this was a fitness exercise and from recent interviews and a discussion with several MK fans he is highly regarded off the pitch, still has something to give. He'd be a huge risk but.. on paper he is the sort of guy Warnock has tried to get in the past, he's admitted whilst Sheff Utd manager that he'd be interested and Smith wanted to go to QPR on loan before Warnock got fired.
The usual stuff about that move, the injuries and the disciplinary record will get chucked about as usual but it is true we need that bite... Warnock is no shrinking violet and I suppose if the opportunity came up to grab him on a pay as you play basis (which would be more realistic) I wouldn't rule it out, that said, I'd be extremely wary of it being a PR stunt.
I am a massive flag waving annoying stick in the mud Smith fan so you can throw all the abuse you like at me, heard it all before, I'm just saying I wouldn't put it past Warnock, just unsure whether the terms of it and the reasons behind a move back would satisfy fans. Smith said in a recent interview that going back to Leeds would be like going back with an old gf and that never works. Hmmmmmmmm

Cavan will provide strength and clincal finishing infront of goal

I assume you are one of the sad acts that reply to your own posts...

Cavin, who is currently on holiday in USA with his Mum and Dad, commented on his own fantasy. He promised that if he was picked (and he didn't have any homework) he could do just as badly as the boys on Tuesday did. Source: Facebook
