GFH have no money, they want us to invest now and are hoping for somebody to bring some money in the club in the form of investment, I think we have another season of uncertainty in front of us with loans players and news lads coming through the academy. why did GFH buy us, if they weren't going to invest, all that rubbish the told us when they took over, do they think we have forgotten. I have made the decision to stay away next year, even at the new lower prices, oi have had a belly full of disappointed and feel more investment and lot more transparency should come our way, they should come out at tell us what their plans are with our football club.

Smart choice. Said all along they got no money and no-one will want to invest with them! First they know very little about football. Second if you want to invest 30 per cent you will really want control too as in 51 per cent. We are set to stagnate until bought out again. Only saving grace for GFH is they are not Bates with high ticket prices and silly vanity projects. That said, at the moment, on current form, I think we could get relegated next season.

Are you sure they are not bates. Have gfh bought th club to sell as requested by mr bates as nobody would deal due o his normal business dealings. Ok he may be a good business man, but he has annoyed a lot of olks over the years, and maybe everyone has said no dealings with him, and ha is why he will be mr president next year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said mate, I am also getting sick of all the BS we are fed, I have a 3 year old boy and I really can't put him through all this shti, when will it end, they are loosing the next generation of fans and something needs to happen and soon.

I've already posted on this site (went on banter for some reason!) that I heard that bates owns about 20% of LUFC as Leeds Holdings as he got shares in handover transaction. GFH only paid about 17 mill for Leeds Holdings so far and bates 'mates' still have control of ER and TA. that's why when GFH parent company spoke about selling Leeds Holdings they said they were looking to sell their stake in Leeds Holdings and did NOT just say sell Leeds Holdings as they would if they owned all of LUFC.
New owner with dosh and Leeds at heart.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh yeah, that's the way. let's all boycott the games,,, and write next season off as relegation already. I am absolutely sick of Glass half empty people. I assume you want Uncle Ken back, just so you can wallow in your own misery. GFH might not be Billionaires, but THEY were the ones that ultimately shafted Bates, and were prepared to deal with him when other so-called investors wouldn't, reduced ticket prices, reduced season ticket prices, and are talking to the fans. In fact everything that Bates wouldn't do.

Wonder how many games you would boycott if we win the first 6 on the Bounce at the start of nest season. ?

I would suggest you, like the other 20k fair weather fans would be falling over themselves to follow the whites irrespective WHO was in charge, bragging that they were there when we finally got back to the Premiership.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fickle, fickle, fickle. To ANY young fan, it's not about the politics, it's not even about who the owner is. or how much money he does, or doesn't have.

it's about seeing the stadium, it's about going to the match with your father, it's about seeing the pitch for the first time, and hearing the songs, the chants and listening to the roar of the crowd.

Oh yeah, let's all bitch that our owners are not wealthy enough, or Mr Bates was a Bad Man. It's not Bates OR GFH that's alienating our next generation of fans. It's the so-called stayaways who brainwash their kids to believe everything to do with LUFC lacks ambition, and financial mis-management. And you will wonder why they become Poodles fans!

they don't need to have money they own the club.
if they sell 51% of leeds united for say 15 mil then gfh will have 15 mil to spend on players then who ever buys the 51% will put over 15 mil in aswell giving us over 30 mil to spend on players.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the originally poster, but you forgot to say that the owners will sell our best players come the summer to get some cash back Byram, Lees and McCormack all likely to be sold

Agree0 Disagree0

Never happy unless there's instant change typical Leeds fans they are buisness men they will invest but will also want a return wait till summer see what happens we not good enough to go up yet and its too late in season to change that now

Agree0 Disagree0

Im thinking we have been ripped off for years with of shore bank accounts and doggy owner ken bates and all the people before him if you lot wanna keep pumping money in to cheets and crooks good luck to you all but I woke up a couple of years ago and smelt the coffee no more of my hard urned money to doggy owner shame but that's the way it is gazza

Agree0 Disagree0

DFS are capital investers mate. Think of Richard Gere in the film pretty woman, might help you to get the idea. White whale

Agree0 Disagree0

Gfh capital buy companies in trouble and get them to a point where others are intersted then sell for a tidy profit they will spend as little as possible and are not in for the long haul

Well done to lewis walters receiving his first professional contract with us. why not give him and dawson a few run outs towards the end of the season. couldn't do any worse!

Believable101 Unbelievable3

I agree totally, can't hurt now playoffs are gone!

Agree0 Disagree0

I second that let's look at some of our young lads for next season could save the club a fortune

Agree0 Disagree0

I totally disagree. I'm all for giving youth a chance, but once there is any remote possibility of getting a play off place we HAVE to go with experience. Once a play off place is impossible then, yes, by all means bring in the young players. You may think I'm a dreamer but I really do believe we have the squad and the experience to win ALL of our remaining league games to finish in the top six. Then who knows? Anything would be possible after that. ARDEE WHITE

Agree0 Disagree0

To the third reply we are not going to make the play offs it really is has simple as that where just not good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, I know the position doesn't look great at the moment but have faith. This is a strange division and if there's one thing every fan of every club knows, is expect the unexpected. A straight run of 3 to 4 wins which WE CAN DO, and everything will be up for grabs. If we win the next 3or 4 games in a row, then we are on a run and confidence will be high both on and off the field, and we will be very hard to stop. MOT. Ardee White.

Agree0 Disagree0

I also think we should play our young guns after all they have been playing better than seniors. Only downside is owners will probs cash in on them as soon as they show promise

Agree0 Disagree0

Why don't you include Poleon in there?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd rather sneak the playoffs with our youth players than the carp that Warnock is trying to pass off as a professional football team.
If anything would wake the first team up, it's being replaced entirely by under 21's for three matches. Nowt else has worked, so far.
Sgt. Warnock's dejected batallion.
