Interesting to see that Wickham was not even in Sunderland's squad at the weekend. Fingers crossed.

Would be a great start to the week if either of those happened. Wickham, Butland . these are players you sign when you want promotion
Agree5
Disagree0
I can't see league approval coming for weeks yet as I reckon they are still looking for a reason to say no, they don't want to approve this takeover as it would mean we would be back in the premier very quickly and they would just hate that. If cellino had no money he would have been approved already
Agree0

Am I correct in thinking that you can only have 3 loan signings at once though?
DB

DB if that's the case it's a great excuse to get rid of the lightweight Stewart and slow Kebe-possibly the worst wingers I have ever seen! Oh hang on, I do remember Ryan hall in the Birmingham cup tie at ER-totally inept!

No takeover today mate, i'd get a new source
Agree1

You might say Kebe and Stewart are lightweights but we look to have goals in us when they're in the team. Plus, we weren't exactly on the best of runs prior to their arrival- having them as wingers beats the previous 5-3-2 formation we were working with wing backs.
Agree1
Disagree6
As many loans as you want but limited amount from each team and only five loanees allowed in matchday eighteen.
Agree2
Disagree0
Have seen a couple of negatives about Kebe, sometimes he's thinking ahead of his team mates with only Byram and McCormack on his level - his tracking back is excellent as well as his forward support play.
Everything to the left of him in midfield is more worrying but at least in Murphy and Stewart we have some youth that might mature into something. Rudi seems to be lacking something compared to early season form. We need a creative midfielder and have done for some time but there aren't many good ones around. Even with money to spend we still have to find the right quality and blend.

DB, unless somethings changed that I'm not aware of I'd say that Watford have shown that you can have a lot, since most of their team was on loan last season

Got goals in us? We haven't even managed an attempt on target in the last two matches!

Watford had 9 in squad v Derby which was their record number of loans. They had 8 against us. However, they exploited a loophole which was addressed at the start of this season.
5 loans in the match day squad is the maximum.

I'm pretty sure we shall get a decision soon from the FL. It is a pity that they weren't as thorough with the GFH application. They are incapable of running a football club. At least Cellino has some experience and this will be of great advantage to us. that is, if he can keep his nose clean.

Kebe is getting a raw deal from a lot of supposed fans. Saturday was never going to be a goal fest, but we battled hard for a point. A game we would have lost earlier in the year. Support the team, the slagging off is so negative.

Would rather they approve it in April than not at all. Next season is our season. Avelar, Adryan and Tabanelli ;)

Kebe tracks back, ahead of his team mates, good forward support play?. whatever you're on I want some 'cos kebe is the worst player I have seen in a leeds shirt for years, he's totally disnterested

I personally think the Take over will happen in time.
It's about time that all these supposed Leeds fans stop moaning and being negative and get behind the team and BMD.
What ever happens I will always be Leeds thru the ups and downs!

Ah cheers for clearing that up.
Well - this could make sense. Interview with McDermott in today's YEP saying he's stepping things up to find a new striker before the loan window closes. Just waiting for green light from take over.

While that is true mate and I agree we should be a touch more positive when we get any points at this stage, its not like we haven't been messed about. We have the best support in the land and the club owe us as much as to give us some info! We make the club. No matter who plays, manages, runs the club, its our passion that drives the machine. We've been strung along too long, I feel like we're about to get dropped a big blow with all this going on. I rreaaaaaallly hope it happens and we get back to where we should be. But the fl hates us! We know this! I've just got a gut feeling GFH have stitched us up. Prove me wrong. Please

i can't tell what kebe is really .hes not low enough to ground to be a decent wide midfielder with good feet . not strong enough to be a striker or midfielder .
I would guess he would play best in a 3 man attack so probably the wrong player to be in our starting 11 at the moment.
Stewart is just in need of confidence and a small bit of strength but he will gain confidence and experience from game time and strength will come eventually if put on right strength training . don't want him too strong or he will become too slow

Here here I agree with that, Stewart is a disgrace, creates nothing, can't get past anyone, crap at Hull, and Charlton, go find a non league club or a pub team, if they will have you.
