Latest striker to be linked is. Jean-Kevin Augustin! 22 years old, standing at a colossal 5ft 8in and contracted to Red Bull Leipzig but currently out on loan at Monaco. He has had limited chances at Monaco only appearing 13 times and scored 12 goals in 42 appearances for Red Bull last season.
This doesn't scream out 'goalscorer' to me but apparently he has great pace so maybe that is a benefit for us.

everything surrounded with leeds at the moment is strange. i tell you all now that if poveda sign he will mainly be for the under 23 or named on our bench and get very very little game time. meanwhile the one position most important the search for a striker now looks to go into the final week beginning monday.

Poveda has been brought in as direct replacement for Clarke, and as he’s not on loan, will not suffer due to loaner constraints. He’s also viewed as the long term replacement for King Pabs.
