leeds to loan out somma in january to gain match fitness

Believable34 Unbelievable25

When he was ruled out for the season, dont u know

Agree0 Disagree0

Was only ruled out till jan if I remember rightly

Agree0 Disagree0

We need to keep him the first team are having a good run put him with them, good to see snodgrass back in training.

Agree0 Disagree0

What u talking about fit by january? cruciates take 9 months to heal at least hell be out until april at least

Agree0 Disagree0

When Somma got injured it was said he was out between 8-9months, same length of time they said Kisnorbo would be out for....

leeds to try and sign craig gordon on loan after missing out on steve harper

Believable19 Unbelievable35

Source? Sounds like you're making this up to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

We didn't "miss out" on anyone. when did Grayson say he wants a new keeper?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be good but only till lonergran is 100 percent fit

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be a great sigining at sunderland he doesnt even make the bench and rachubka is just awful he will cost us alot of points between now and lonergan's return.

and grayson never states who hes in for but surely he can see rachubka isn't good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

No point getting a loan keeper. He'll just be getting to know defence and getting his sharpness back properly and lonergan will be back. And it'll wreck rabchuka confidence completly putting us in same situation should lonergan be out again. No long term gain for the sake of a very minimal short term gain at best.

It's going around that Leeds have submitted a bid for out of favour man utd striker macheda

Believable3 Unbelievable51

Why? we have an awesome strikeforce that can bang in 2-3 goals a game.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's got a bright future ahead of him which is why I doubt it will happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt it. Not a loan we need. Need to keep faith with Keogh and Ross, and gradually get Luciano fit and scoring again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gordon would be a great signing top keeper and would fit right in as would probably know snoddy n ross already

Grayson says he won't loan players to competitors. Does he see Brighton as competitors? Will Paynter go to Brighton? Or, is reducing the wage bill more important?

Believable10 Unbelievable6

Apprently theres a deal on the cards from a League 1 team rumoured to be Preston to loan him out

Agree0 Disagree0

Loaning the Billy might put them at a disadvantage, it will be one player on the pitch who wont be scoring, assisting or doing anything

Agree0 Disagree0

Firstly, reports say brighton are interested not that a deal is likely. second, if he is loaned out we can put a clause in so he cant play against us or can be recalled if he finds form

Agree0 Disagree0

Won't be allowed to play against us, but anyway do you really think a bit of sea air is going to turn that donkey into a golden boot winner!

Agree0 Disagree0

Look, im as much of a die hard leeds fan as the best of them, i know billy hasnt been anything like the player he was when we signed him but remember how he distroyed us in league 1... he still has the ability to be a good player he just needs to be playing regular with confidance, and with that will come goals and good performances, if he goes, good look to him and thanx for trying billy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Going out on loan would be the best thing that could happen for him. Whether he returns to Leeds or not at least he would get chance to rebuild his confidence. Look at players that have gone out on loan in the past and returned much the better for it- White, Clayton, Beckford, Nunez etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Could be a good move for leeds we do not play brighton again till after the loan expires and paynter has the chance to score against our rivals.

A deal to be concluded in January with wolves to make Andy keogh permanent transfer . Good times!

Believable43 Unbelievable2

Love Andy. Works so hard for the team even if he doesnt score as many goals as others. A smith like player. Will be a hero in Leeds

Brighton will step up their chase for out-of-favour Leeds striker Billy Paynter after failing to sign him in August.
Full story: Daily Mirror

Believable24 Unbelievable6

Good for them... Gus would confirm he's a great manager if he gets Billy scoring in this league!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nope.. SG said he will not loan players to championship sides.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we lend him to our rivals, no matter how bad he is at present??
