Leeds are after frustrated ex player Rob Hulse, he is not getting a look in at QPR, Most likely a long term loan until the end of the season as he is on around 15-20k a week which Leeds cant afford! MOT

Trying to understand this "sentence". Where did KB make this statement?

Nice contradiction of SG stating that he was going to spend the transfer budget (unless it was zero) too - pretty sad state of affairs really.

This is not what he said the quote said that the money is there

no he didnt he said, we aren't going to invest the money for the sake of buying players

What he actually said was in the main about the Howson transfer wich after a bit of barter came to around £2 million whuch had gone into the 'Fighting Fund' for the manager to spend on players. He also said that we won't spend on players for the sake of it but only buy those who want to play for Leeds and will make an improvement on what we've already got.
If you're going to quote, then get it right !!!

If you look at the full sentence of that quote from KB on the radio he says;

"It was left to the manager to make the final decision; he consulted his backroom staff and said take the money. Now we have that fighting fund in the pot to reinvest, which it will be invested in players. However, we are not going to invest the money for the sake of buying players. There is no point in doing that and we intend to buy players who will commit their future to Leeds United and have the ability to improve on our present squad, to strengthen the squad and not just make up the numbers."

I didn't hear him talk but that looks to me like he's saying have fund to spend and we won't waste it for the sake of buying!

Besides the mis-qoute from the original poster, the bit I found most amusing was the "We wont spend ANY more money until June/July". Errrrrr what money have we spent in the last 5yrs...........lol.

Count the number of out of contract and loan players SG & previous managers have brought in over last 5 years.......they all cost money in signing on fees, loan fees etc. So to the poster above we have spent a lot of money over last 5 years, a fair proportion wasted mind.

Alan Smith agrees personal terms with the whites, spoke with his agent Lewis Collinge.

If he has then it will be announced today which i highly doubt both actions will have been and will be completed

Erm pretty sure his agent was Alex Black of SportFirst last time I looked?

This rumour has been around for so long now I just wish one way or another we would put this to bed ?

Pretty sure when he went to MU his agent was cited by Oliver Holt as Alex Black but then again there are more than just the one agent involved with a players dealings, just funny I havent heard of this guy

I have also seen this on Twitter, apparently signed an 18 months contract, im hoping its not true

I for one would love Smithy to pull the white shirt on again, there is the wage problem but reading his interviews over the last month it sounds to me like he just wants to be playing regular football than not playing and picking a wage up. bruce leaving maybe sg is getting aa defender in, i think he should promote gimple to first team too {Ed020's Note - monty's said himself he's not wanting first team action this season, altho he would be a great addition}

So glad Bruce is going horrible attitude only got where he has because of is dad watched him when he's played for the reserves terrible role model for the young lads hope he goes to play in America thats about his standard

James leslie is still very young, even if we did sign him, you wouldnt hear or see anything from him for many many years
