Starting to agree with the "Saiz needs a rest" camp. He has looked a little off it these past few games. He is on of these that you complain about for a large part of the game then he conjures up some brilliance that not many could master and you are left with egg on the face, but, with Forshaw showing fine form in cameos now is a good a time as any to let the maestro rest.

I’m beginning to agree too. Saiz is brilliant on his day, amazing, but Forshaw looks good too, particularly when he came on the other day. Give him a crack.

I think the answer might be for him to share a shift with Forshaw as Bielsa is starting to do now. A shame for him not to have a bit more time playing with Hernandez after shouldering the burden without him.
Don’t think we have anyone like him in the team with as much trickery .

With all the injuries, lack of form, change of formation and then all the young up and comings, I am starting to feel a little sorry for (the forgotten man) Lewis Baker. Not seeing a glimpse of daylight and not even a mention. In MB we trust so if he thinks we we do not need him then so be it but like Ideguchi before him he goes down in the, what if and if only, columns.

I think Baker still adds to the squad, seen him on under 23 duty and around the first team squad and he is always very professional, hard working and keen to help the younger kids. He is useful to have around, but as Forshaw has got his fitness back his role has diminished a bit. Klich beats him as sammy sub and Forshaw as KP sub.

Some here weren’t that impressed with some of his early form - maybe still a bit green but it’s up to him to force hos way into the squad if he is good enough. If not do we really want him in there anyway? Football should not be about sentiment.
