He would be good but I see him more of a backup behind Silvestri/ peacock-Farrell or a new goalkeeper.

What about Ross Turnbull? Don't think the Ireland lad would be any better than what we've already got.

Turnbull is a good keeper MM but way too injury prone to rely on as first choice. For me Silvestri is a lot better in some areas of his game but McGovern is a better all rounder (and that won't do Peacock-Farrell any harm to be around) . In a lot of areas of the pitch I would take someone with a bit of skill and flair over a Mr reliable type but in goal or in CB give me the guy that you can count on to read the game and do the basics well, game in, game out, so yeah I'm pro McGovern, think it would be a general improvement if not a big one.

1 good tournament doesn't make up for the fact Hamilton have released you.
He put himself in front of the ball and got lucky for 4 games.
I wouldn't take a chance on the guy, plus we're abit keeper heavy.
There is no sense in this deal for me.
