Forest having a bid for McCormack.

Believable8 Unbelievable72

He will play for us on Tuesday night and leave on the Friday, and who can blame him with all the things going on with our club, or not as it seems. He will go to the club we feed every year! The Mighty Norwich LOL, god how times change,! We will end up with Becs back and £3,000,000 in the coffers, and manage to stay in the league again. Get your fingers out all you buyers and sellers and stop messing with my head and all us others from the theatre of hope. oh and good luck Brian in keeping your job, I really do think you can help us get back where we belong, spend wisely in the summer Mr BMC X come on the mighty whites, we will always be marching on for you. Markyboy63 43 years a fan and I have never cared about our club as much as I do now, Because to be honest i'm worried

Agree0 Disagree6

Probably the only chance Ross would realistically have of playing alongside Dexter Blackstock again. However, I am confident that Ross will stay at Leeds and given time and some decent team-mates will prove to be a decent captain (despite my preferred position for a captain being a commanding centre back).MOT

Agree13 Disagree1

I can't personally see rossco going to Forrest green, not for another 10 years anyway. Ha

Lies. McDermott has said there is only interest in 1 player and it isn't Ross. It's varney

Agree3 Disagree0

Why don't you all take a chill pill and listen to fleetwood mac 'rumours' album.have a glass of whatever, and stop making up all these stories. the reason why all is quiet is because any business deal is confidential until agreed. i'm convinced this is going to work out fine.there are 3 consortiums bidding for lufc. now please just everyone chill out.my opinion. several players getting layed into here because they are useless.not so. we just don't have the calibre of players to support them. varney is a good footballer. look up his past. green is quality hard working midfielder. I just think for bmd its all a work in progress at moment. great things don't happen overnite. so chill out and put that rumours album on. MOT

Mcdermott has said he doesn't expect further interest in ross so your surgesting you know stuff the club doesn't know you could earn a lot of money selling your extraordonary information to the press

Agree2 Disagree0

How many top football clubs in this country are owned/run by 'consortiums'? Yet we seem to have found not one, not two but three consortiums! Consortium seems to be defined as 'a number of fairly un-wealthy individuals who want to own a football club but cannot individually afford to do so agree to pool their 'wealth' in an attempt to do so. Even if each have an equal financial stake how on earth are they all going to ever agree which players are worth buying? who does the manager speak to persuade which players to buy? especially if one or more of said consortium disagrees? Our bizarre recent TO history clearly demonstrates how long every decision will take. I hope the Rumours album is a very long listen.

Ross definitely not going to Wham.
Brian said he spoke to big Sam AFTER they rejected the bid & Sam said they wouldn't be coming back in for him.
Let's just hope Norwich don't get up to their usual tricks now.

Believable55 Unbelievable7

Norwich are skint! MOT

Brian and Sam were at the same "Coping with Imminent Dismissal" group therapy session so what was said with those 4 walls should have stayed within those 4 walls.

We are hearing that Blackburn Rovers are eyeing a move for Leeds United forward Luke Varney. Blackpool have also shown an interest in signing Varney before the transfer window slams shut, but Blackburn are now thought to be leading the chase for the Derby man.

For the Derby man?

To be honest. if we're not getting a marquee signing. Varney is one of the players I'd keep. He's not the most talented but at least he seems to give a sh*t when he pulls the shirt on. same with Brown. MOT

6 goals in 44 games matt smith has already scored that already plus he scored a hatrick against hull XI behind closed doors varney is the worst striker in the football league he never scores he always misses even from a foot i'd like to think i'd score more than that in 44 games and this clown was a replacement for Snodgrass what a joke he sums up warknocks time at leeds

Reply to the person mentioned "marching on together" I don't know which club you support because it obviously ain't leeds united his a bad player and is bad for our club we want rid and we will march on together at least untill the world stops going round other clubs can't handle 100 percent of our support are die hard fans we live and breath leeds united 100 percent of us we always fill our away allocations and put most premiership attendences to shame so do your research before you start surgesting we aren't loyal because we have the best fans in the world we want players that everytime they pull on the leeds shirt feel great pride and everytime they walk onto the elland road pitch get a buzz and get fired up and want to give everything we will support leeds no matter how bad they get because we continue to march on together and always will as long as this club exsists

i just can't see how varney moving out on loan would benefit leeds united unless we go and loan a player . if varney goes and we can't get anyone else in we are a player down . varney isn't too bad a player he just isn't a striker or a winger . he should really be played just off the striker.

Leeds will get one new player be4 Friday on loan. Take over will rumble on Haigs main money man has failed the fit and proper Person test, That's why he's tryed bringing the Italian on board. I think he could be in the sht myself. Conner Wikham is going to Forest for 4-5 million so it will not be him. If Diouf is got off the wage bill Fryatt will be a possible. If not Lita will join till the end off season with a view to sign a deal in summer. Also heard a few people saying we may do a swap deal with Varney for Leon Best carnt see it myself as Best is on huge money at Blackburn.

Believable6 Unbelievable36

So Forest got the rich Arabs prepared to spend and we got the Arabs who deal in other peoples money and will spend it on anything but the Club they own!

Yes it looks that way, But don't think it's all Rosey there.the rich Arab signs players as well as Billy the >ick Davis

Blackburn Rovers are after Leeds United's, Luke Varney according to ssn

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Jan 2014 16:41:08
Can't see varney been allowed to go anywhere until we have another replacing him

Agree1 Disagree2

Apparently Blackburn and Varney are happy for the transfer to go through- the only sticking point is how many seasons Leeds are prepared to continue paying his wages after the transfer in order to get him out of our club. Haigh is currently consulting Robbie Fowler's agent via text because he cannot afford to call him on his mobile. MOT

Agree12 Disagree3

It would be crazy to let Varney go in our present predicament. Unbelievable it may be to some, but he's arguably our second best central attacker at present! Chapel A

Just read on ssn that Conor Wickham has returned to his parent club after failing to agree a new loan deal at Sheffield Wednesday.
We should be looking to sign him, he's a future star and could do well for us. No point in going for past it Fryatt and Le Fondre is way out of our price league.

Believable35 Unbelievable13

Yes, you're correct, but Whickhams valued at £8M - No chance of signing him - GFH and/or new owners do not have the money for this value of signing(s) - We'd have to sell 3 key players for that amount of money - we're struggling now with the dross we have - imagine losing Ross, Byram & a and other - we would be relegation fodder then! This season is all but over already - let's build for next season, new owners or not.
MOT

Agree2 Disagree1

Reckon he wants back to Ipswich, but I'd take him.

Agree2 Disagree1

27 Jan 2014 14:10:17
Out of our price league?

I think a fee for Wickham would be more than ALF would command!

Didnt the Mackems pay £8m for him?

Agree2 Disagree0

It actually says Sunderland have re-called him from his loan spell and that Wednesday still wanted him, so I guess gus wants to use him if recalled

Agree2 Disagree0

Sunderland have recalled him to as cover for the first team strikers as they are still in three competitions and have a very small squad. Sunderland and Sheff Wed had agreed to an extension of the loan but with Altidore and Borini both picking up slight knocks against Kidderminster they have decided to call him back.

Agree2 Disagree0

If we don't have £500k for Ashley Barnes, how do you think we are going to buy a player that cost Sunderland £8.1m

Agree2 Disagree1

Never mind future star, already a terrific all-round player at this level. Would take him on loan without hesitation if the chance arose. Would be very pricey to buy (and would be very surprised if Sunderland were to sell) -would require a very significant injection of cash into the club (or selling McCormack). Chapel A

Agree1 Disagree0

He's another morison no thanks

Agree0 Disagree2

Some people on here just type without knowing anything!
to the guy that said "if we don't have 500k for Ashley Barnes"
its not that we didn't have the money.
the funds were there, it just needed to be signed off, but the current owners decided against it.
(or so it was rumored)
The fact is, none of us know anything when it comes to what finances we have.
so instead of being negative, how about you keep it shut and see what happens.
turn up to the game cheer the lads on and let's get up together!
weather its this season, next season or in 10 seasons!
Being negative gets you nowhere.
Cheering the lads on is what needs to be done regardless of what goes on in the background.

The recall makes perfect sense. Wickham is in great form. More importantly, Sunderland are alive in 2 cup competitions, so they need numbers. Once those cup runs end (I honestly think he's there for good), he might be a solid loan option for Championship squads.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland have spent 3 million on a an Argentinian striker, so Wickham will be called back to be sold to earn some of that money back if not all of it. Could be him who BM met and offered a deal.

Sam Allerdyce has confirmed that he 'does not expect to do anymore business' as he has filled his 25 man squad. McCormack going nowhere (this transfer window.) Can definitely see him leaving in the summer, at this rate.

Believable24 Unbelievable5

What he said was he could not sign anybody else as he has a full 25 man squad, but west ham will ship players out before the transfer window closes and a 5 million bid will go in and probably be accepted I expect Ross to be a west ham player before the window closes. this could be part of a deal with Ricardo vaz te or matty taylor.

Agree1 Disagree3

What he said was he didn't expect anymore in and that he won't be too busy now as he has hit the 25, also apparently told Bmac that there will not be another bid. Mccormack will stay.

A new revised offer today will be a comprise a £4m fee plus £1m of add-ons dependent on McCormack's appearances for the east London club.

Believable6 Unbelievable39

4m and Carlton Cole please

Agree3 Disagree6

Carlton Cole? no thanks! we'll stick with the championships top scorer.

Sam Allerdyce has also come out today saying he won't be adding anymore signings to the sqaud as they hit there 25 man limit.

Agree4 Disagree0

Please get it into your head he's not going anywhere MOT

Agree3 Disagree0

2nd post spot on

Agree1 Disagree0

West HAM have also signed another midfielder AND New striker
Surely Ross must think about how much game time he'd get at West Ham? Look at Becchios plight at Norwich as a sample in case!!

Agree3 Disagree0

Sam allerdyce now saying after the two players he's already signed that will be it for jan, so can't see another bid being made

Agree1 Disagree0

Off point- Some . Just heard from one of Leeds United Academy juniors whose dad is also security officer based at TA (where his wife is also a canteen lady)- Brian Mac seen in a Cagliari estate agents this weekend and this source has been told that Cellino has offered Ivo Pulga a job swap with Brian as an alternative to joining Cellino's long list of club manager sackings. This source has always been spot on in the past. You heard it here first.

West Ham make a bid of allegedly £3.5 mill for Ross and apparently we turned it down asking for nearer £5million.

Looks like West Ham are coming back with that offer now which is a huge test for the board. We thought £3.5m was tough, now we have to contend with an offer matching the clubs asking price. tough times and gut feeling is we will accept. Reason being if they really didn't want to sell, they would have said £7.5-£10m and if West Ham were happy to pay it then good times.

Looking bleak this Winter!

Believable8 Unbelievable24

I'd have snapped there hands off at 3.5m!

Agree0 Disagree2

5mill do the deal as long as it goes to getting in 3 good players to replace him

Agree0 Disagree2

It only seems to be the Daily Mail (as usual who are saying the LUFC have said will accept £4m + £1m the same as they are saying that GFH still in talks with Cellino. Were they the only ones to actually report it last week and the Italian media copied them? Either somebody there has contacts inside ER (doubt it) or they have an agenda to cause as much unrest at LUFC as they can (more likely!)

Hello boys and girls! I have good news regarding transfers. McCormack will NOT be sold and Leeds are eying a move for Rangers striker Big Jon Daly, Brian hopes to conclude a deal by Friday.

Believable8 Unbelievable37

Dont be a silly billy ross WILL go as the club have no money. Also there will be NO new signings, this is because the club has no money and as david haigh's bid to takeover the club has collapsed, they have to pay back the cash haigh and his pals have put into the club. FACT!

Agree1 Disagree3

Get real we won't get any1 same old I'm afraid

Agree1 Disagree0

I have heard that Daly is the main target, McDermott is desperate to get him in whether McCormack leaves or not. Would cost around £800,000.

Agree0 Disagree1

The guy said 'FACT!', there is no arguing with that logic.
I too remain hopeful on this one, Rosco to stay and a oan striker in, no need to threat about this tear push, we will have to do our money deals in the summer.

Agree1 Disagree0

I've also heard that Daly will be travelling tomorrow for a medical

Agree1 Disagree0

Daly would be a terrific addition, big, strong and also very good with the ball at his feet. Age could be a problem but stars like Daly don't become available for that kind of price every day, really hope we can get this one done!

Agree1 Disagree0

This deal will NOT happen. No other deals will happen either. When will you realise - We have NO money!

Are you related to ken bates

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2014 11:02:36
If I was related to ken bates and got 1M offered for mcormack then i'd be bashing the accepted button I just think his leeds are going to say 8m because jordan rhodes scored all his goals in leauge one and went for that well mcormacks scored all his in the championship

McDermott will NOT be sacked as Leeds United manager

Believable49 Unbelievable20

He will do if we don't win our next two matches, so seeya brian

Agree1 Disagree5

Hopefully your wrong. he is a nice guy but a useless manager

Agree3 Disagree1

He will be if Massimo Cellino is part of the takeover or indeed if this current poor form continues

Agree1 Disagree0

I like Brian but he just might get the push. Not sure about his ability tbh
Conspicuous in his absence recently and there are manager's like Malky McKay unemployed.
My personal opinion is that all manager's should be given at least 3 years to prove themselves and give the squad continuity.

Agree1 Disagree0

Can't believe people are talking of sacking and wanting BMD to go!
6 weeks ago he could do no wrong!
This guy is a quality manager and has proved it, the issue he has is the fact the squad isn't good enough, which isn't down to him. He has brought in some decent players on limited funds but we all know that to compete in the Championship, you need to spend a fair chunk of money, which he hasn't been given.
If he did go, who would come in and do anythafing better, Nobody! Plus nobody with any calibre would want to join unless significant monies were made available.
Lets get behind McD, he is the man for the job but he needs cash (and players that want to come), just remember he isn't a magician and can't polish a turd (metaphor that means he can't turn what he has into Real Madrid, so get off his back)
P.S. If Ross McTiny Man goes to West Ham, were are royally in the pooper!

Mcdermotts a good manager and cares about this club and is a good lad we are very lucky to have such a good manager you wait till end of season when 6 players are going and he can spend some money on players I think they will be strong next season we keep replacing managers once a year and its costing us compensation and we buy praticly a new squad every year again cost money the players his signed are good his got the best out of mcormack than any other manager baring in mind his 27 we don't need to bring in someone who will rip apart the squad because if we keep doing this we will never go up give him 3 years to build because this club has intelligent owners who know sacking a manager whos quality doesent work and he need time I think its disgusting people expect him to go up his first season no need to put pressure on the lad give him 3 years he will get it right

If this takeover doesn't go through we will go into administration, gfh just haven't got the funds to run the club, that's why sports capital have been funding us.also if this takeover doesn't go through gfh will have to pay back the millions sports capital have pumped in.gfh are desperate to sell because they need to start making repayments on a rescheduling loan they took out and at moment they can't afford, bad times ahead.

Believable19 Unbelievable43

gfh will not send leeds into administration. they are just not willing to throw money at transfers . they know they will not lose money if they just keep a team that can stay in this league . even if the crowds dropped to 19,000 they are probably still making a profit
