Hockaday and Junior Lewis officially gone with Redfearn taking over until someone else appointed

Believable45 Unbelievable9

About time, Ronald has gone back to McDonald's where he belongs

Agree2 Disagree0

I feel sorry for him a bit, he was never good enough for the job and the way Cellino spoke about him was disgusting and now other managers will have seen how Cellino belittles people and think twice about working for him, it's Cellino that is at fault for our poor start and not Hockaday

Agree7 Disagree2

There both at fault, the president MC for giving him the job and hockaday for taking it knowing it was too big for him.

At least MC is not afraid to make a decision, so I guess Hock got a payday!

Agree1 Disagree0

I would like to see David O'Leary given another crack at the job.

So you could say that in 7 or 8 months he has sacked 4 managers/coaches Brian Mc x2 & hock after Watford, thought about it and sacked him Thursday instead? Who is going to take the job knowing you don't have a choice in who signs, you will get 1/2 a season max to get things right so instead of hiring and firing unknowns and having to pay them off, why don't he get a proven manager/coach in buy him some quality or at least some players who he wants and give the man a chance? Red fears will make wholesale changes for Saturday, expect to see a bit more youth, width and pace in the team, no more 4 centre mids all playing together maybe poleon, ajose on the wings, and cook, bianchi, and sloth in the Middle, Taylor May be given some minutes at full back OR he is given the teamsheet from MC and he just does the team talk? NEVER a dull moment MOT

PS what on earth did Lewis do anyway, never seen him speak tbh. Nice pay off we think, I bet MC had a clause in his contract so he doesn't have to pay him the full wack? MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Must admit royal I was a fan of o'leary too so I would like to see him back but would he come with a trigger happy president? We wouldn't be in this situation if MC. Had made a good decision in the first place because everyone saw it coming but him so let's hope he learns from it and gets us a real leader.

I feel sorry for him. Whether it would have worked out ultimately, who knows, but the effort the players put in on Wednesday hadn't been seen from a Leeds side I have watched for a long time. and I a think that they were doing it because of him.

Potential managers will be very weary of joining us now, if this is what it will be like from one week to the next.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that a joke Royal? I think Dolly burnt all his bridges at ER last time.

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems to me that he was only given the job as a win win scenario. If he succeeded then bonus, if he fails then he can get in the man he wanted without this English manager tag.

Agree0 Disagree0

MC will decide no matter what.
IMO Steve Clarke has a vast amount of coaching skills and quality, experience gained from his Newcastle days with Gullit and Chelsea with Mourinho. Worked as assistant also under Zola at West Ham. Success with Liverpool coaching, First managerial position with West Brom is arguably considered a success - Manager of the month (once), finishing 8th.
6 major honours as a player, incl Chelsea player of the year 94.
MC, stick you're long haul hat on and grab Clark. Change you ways and take advice from those around you, You all work for our club.
He has the credentials its up to you to show your commitment to him, nice long contract maybe. Give us stability.
The others in the race are either unknown qualities or we have been there before, New blood and vision needed, after all 12/13 new players to deal with. So deal with it. MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

From a purely business perspective I think think appointing Dave was a shrewd(ish) move. The owner didn't really understand the league, there were a lot of crappy financial issues to deal with and Dave was (apparently) only on an 80K per year deal so sacking him isn't going to hamstring the club with further financial woes which is what happened in the past. I do hope for a better quality manager now though.

ssn reporting that Cellino is after Danielle Desenna from Cagliari, a midfielder who is hopefully better than we have at the moment

Believable10 Unbelievable9

If he can walk he will be better than we have at the moment, juniors excepted.

Brian Motenegro - paraguyan striker set to join LUFC on Friday. Was on loan at west ham in 2012 but only played a cup match. Not prolific, 1 in 5 record.

Believable23 Unbelievable14

Well I hope he's good - we've already got the bad and the ugly (That's my attempt at a not very good joke that I'll be surprised if anyone gets!)

Agree1 Disagree0

Still need width, anyone know of any rumours involving wingers? No point having all these forwards if there's no one to supply them.

Agree1 Disagree0

Its the midfield that's the issue, not strikers!
Need a DM in now and a good one. Surely Hunt and Morrison are heading out now?

Sharp
Antneucci
Smith
Ajose
Doukara
Poleon
Morrison
Hunt

Agree1 Disagree0

He can play as a winger, was at West Ham not good feedback but was young and did not play that much .

Agree1 Disagree0

Re speedy joke - classic Clint Eastwood western so yeah get that one.

Last 3 forwards on the list should go Hunt, Poleon, Morrison.

Ajose not really a striker in my books and does play wider I think but agree we need a wide pacey player in midfield. Still with Sloth and Adryan coming in that has got to help in the long term, Sloth a good engine, not slow can do a solid job type and Adryan should be a good ball playing midfielder once he is fit (that will take 3-4 weeks I reckon).

I see ongoing pain for us for a few weeks but hoping these players can gel/get fit and we do have the basis for a team, will come too late to save Hock mind

Agree1 Disagree1

Poleon, Morison and Hunt need to be offloaded if we sign Montenegro. Shame to see Dom Pol go but he hasn't made the impact in his career that he possibly should have done. On the subject of a defensive midfielder, Keith Andrews would've been perfect regardless of his age but Cellino didn't move quick enough when we were linked with him and why are we not looking at Frimpong? He's English, he's free and he knows how to tackle unlike the majority of our midfielders!

Agree1 Disagree2

Wouldnt read too much into him making one appearance for West Ham. He was only 17 at the time. Still, don't know much about him.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think this guy and Doukara will be our wingers

Agree0 Disagree0

Exaatly as Gilesy says was 17 seems to have made good progress if nacional have recently signed him

reports from Italy and Brazil saying adryan will be in England tomorrow to finalise a loan move with a view to buy for around £4 million at the end of the season, and should be an official deal Saturday at the latest

Who ever signs hockaday hasn't got a clue

Agree3 Disagree0

Every one on here has been saying how bad Wooten is and how bad Murphy is!
D H plays them both!
Think Sat is his last game, I hope M C gets a coach who is experienced .
The worst fact at the moment is we have had more players sent off, than anyone else in the champ.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dog
Not sticking up for the Hock but its not his fault the players are getting sent off.

Murphy last night was a disgrace.

Agree0 Disagree0

Andy, Murphy had no right to be on the pitch after the start he's had. So far off the pace at Watford & offered sod all this season. He's not the player we all hoped he'd be & a waste of £1m imo. Was brought in as play maker who would improve but clearly is not up to it. After the first yellow signs were there so Hock should have subbed him. Same applied to tired players late on in game. Tonge, went missing & needed replacing but sadly subs were sat there until too late. As for Dom Poleon, he's had only about 6 starts & only brought on when game is lost so not a fair reflection on him. Smith ffs how many clear headers do you need to get one on target or to find our CF. Clearly not having the impact I'd hope for in his 2nd season. Think Morisson has more to offer judging by pre ssn. Did ok out wide coming in even though that's not his game. I think him & Sharp could work & would like to see it given a go.
