Cant afford it or just think he,s not worth that kind of money

If we have got a so called 'warchest' to spend in Jan and this i strue what the daily mail is claiming then it must obviously boil down to Grayson/Bates not valuing Keogh very much as they want £600k - £800k.

Keogh brings a whole lot more to the team than other strikers do for me!

Yeah agree with the response. Depends on how much they want as to whether the money would be better spent elsewhere.

Keogh too hit & lots of misses for me. Nice fella who works hard, but to get promoted I think we can get better for that kind of money and maybe someone who chips in with a few more goals as after all he is supposed to be a striker.

What the hell are you on a about? why would we give two players five year contracts that are not even currently in the squad? Bates maybe alot of things but he is not dumb when it comes to throwing money down the pan

right come on its back end of december... heres some names been thrown about for january...

pugh almost signed 500k.
think thats the only 1 set in stone
bruce, paynter, obrien, bromby, rachubka, possibly sam and nunez to leave. bromby is apparently the highest earner at elland road. i also think we will be lucky to keep hold of the likes of clayton, snodders and rossco.

we could do worse than looking at gettin kightly when hes loan expires at watford. hammill from wolves.

here are players that are avalible if we can tempt them or want them...

frimpong - arsenal
lichaj - villa
smith - newcastle
savic, pantilimon, youngsters - city
dobie - swansea
hulse, ephraim - qpr

it depends how ambitious KB and SG are.... we need extra bodies in there. i think if we loose 7 fringe players.... and no doubt there will be interest in 3-4 first teamers.... we defo need to add alot of quality...
all the hype but nothin much will happen. startin 11 in feb...

Nunez is quality and won't leave. He's as technically gifted as snoddy. The problem is he doesn't suit graysons style of play but if he does leave then there's a chance that nunez will shine

Why would you include Smith and Hulse in there,neither would add to the squad,need to get rid of the dead wood eg,Parker,Rachubka,Obrian etc and get some quality in,I know this probably means Bates spending some money,but without it we have no chance of going up,at least give SG the funds to actually buy players,and if he mucks up get shut ,beginning to think the only hope we have is someone with the funds to buy Bates out,get a proven manager in,and invest in players,dream on eh.

Grayson is considering a move for Man City defender Stefan Savic, after it was revealed the defender will be leaving on loan.

Unless City are gonna give us a big help in paying his wages then this is defo a non-starter rumour.

i dont understand why people all of a sudden think that Bates is going to get genorous this January. i do think we will get a few new faces in but to start rumours about us getting 1st team fringe players from the richest club in england/possibly europe is ludacris!

only city players we will look at are reserves or youth player (Clayton calibure a few seasons back)
