LUST opening their mouths again hitting out at the investors, more chance youll put them off if you dont shut up and be patient, bunch of d**ks.

This is not wise from LUST. Not only for what original poster is saying, but it isn't complete, they are not the owners yet. One minute theyr'e asking the fans to be patient in one statement, next minute they're ripping into the potential new investors. It's inconsitent and unprofessional.

A few thousand members don't necessarily represent the feelings of an entire club and its fan base.

Do you not realise that we the fans are the bread and butter of this great club. Without us there would be no LUFC. So wanting to know if things are still goin in the right direction, is not to much to ask. Doin this with one voice, just might get us the answear we need.
I pay good money and would like to know, like everyone else, what this money is actually paying for. The Bates foundation or the new unnamed owners. Who hopefully sometime soon will reveal themselfs to us.
Remember, we have a right to know, we've been around alot longer than these people and will still be here when they've gone. WE ARE LUFC!

I have to agree, LUST could well be doing more harm than good with these outbursts.
If I was one of the investors I would have had a few doubts after LUST's demands, which is what they most certainly sound like.
From day one since the club announced they were in investment talks, LUST have been making snide comments whilst trying to appear courteous even towards Bates. Its about time LUST listened to its own advice and be patient.

Properbly the most unprofessional statement I have ever seen from any supporters club. I am glad they don't represent me.

They're asking the club to give the fans more information, not hitting out at the investors.

No, don't think a few hotheads in a supporters trust will put off serious businessmen, if they come and it's still an IF they will have to be more thick skinned than that

They need to crawl back under the rock they came from. They aren't even very intelligent people, they do not understand business, if they do have their own businesses they can't be very successful or they would be buying the club would they not!!

Paying money gives you know right to know what a business does with its income. have you written to Kelloggs or barbie to find out what they do with the money you splash out on cornflakes and dolls? didn't think so. the trust are self important bates wannabes. If the guys at LUST had any brains, they would have said nothing at all. Who they are criticising is irrelevant, because if they want the deal to go through, then criticising either side can only do harm. Whoever makes the decisions around there wants sacking.

The old Sheffield Utd link to Warnock has come up again. Heard on the LUFC grapevine that Warnock's going back for a quality midfielder to get Stephen Quinn £500,000's apparently....welll worth this! He was the best player in the Play-off Final for Sheffield United in their defeat to Huddersfield Town. He's only 26yrs of age to so got a lot more football to impove even better too! :D Marching On Together! Would love to see Gradel back too, McCormack re-signed, and quality players like , Maynard, DJ Campbell, Boyd & Mackail-Smith signed up too! Come on Leeds Unite make it happen, sign up some quality!! :-D

I doubt this. We have alot of midfield players. White, Brown, Green, Norris, Austin, Pugh, Thompson, and Warnock said that he plans to play Varney on the left. Then we have Poleon who looks good at the moment, although he will probabily only be gaining experience this season. I have been wrong before though. Evo

And just where would you play all of those in 3 places ? Cant see Max rejoining,but seen as Snoddy is gone he should be made number one target

Sorry to say this but ive watched SUFC for the last 30yrs and must say Steven Quinn is really overated . Hes a bit of a headless chicken , lightweight and rarely looks comfortable on the ball . On the plus side he will always give you 100 percent and never hides . Good luck to him if he leaves cant blame him for joining a top team like Leeds .

Umm, you would have to pay at least £4mil to get CMS, as poyet will not want to sell his marquee signing from last year, as it would send a bad message to brighton players and potential signings.

Calling on all you whites fans. I really hope you will all join me at Elland Road, for the first home game of the season, on the 11th against the shrews. I feel we now need to show all these new signings, that have committed themselfs to are wonderfull club. The reason why, it is a privaledge to play and pull on the mighty white shirt. Ed, I remember you saying the other night that you heard the people involved in the takeover were in Leeds. Just wondered whether you had heard anymore news? I know it was mentioned on the web yesterday that things would be completed within the next two weeks, but that is something which appears to have been mentioned a few times previously. {Ed020's Note - i think its a case of ramadam is taking place, so if anything is needing to be comeplete, its that, thats stunting the completion}

There are exceptions to the usual Ramadan rules:

certain athletes are allowed to perform in the Olympics
you can eat during the day if travelling

..also the working day is generally until around 1pm so this deal can still get done this 4 week period

Doncaster Rovers manager Dean Saunders is optimistic he is close to improving his squad amid reports the club want to sign Leeds United striker Billy Paynter.

Saunders is set to create room in his budget for new signings by offloading George Friend after a fee was agreed with Middlesbrough for the defender.

The Rovers boss wants to build a squad capable of securing an immediate return to the Championship and feels he is on the brink of making a signing.

"I'm hoping to do a couple of deals over the next day or two," said Saunders.

Leeds forward Paynter, who was placed on the transfer list at the end of last season, has been heavily linked with a move to the Keepmoat Stadium.

The 28-year-old has scored just three times in 27 league appearances since joining from Swindon Town in 2010 and was sent to Brighton on loan last season.
