I see GFH have released a new statement saying from the beginning of this deal, upto now, there sole aim is to own ER, TA, LUFC and to invest (and i quote) "HEAVILY" in the club to take us back to the promised land by the end of next seadon at the latest.
Sounds good to me
WE ARE LEEDS

Have you got a link to this statement?

Roblifc84

Agree0 Disagree0

Newsnow mate theirs loads of links spn itv news etc

Agree1 Disagree0

Try newsnow/leeds united

Agree0 Disagree0

It doesn't say anywhere about owning ER, TA, LUFC and to invest (HEAVILY) on the team, so your reading of what they actually stated (from NewsNow) is rather strange. I noticed that you didn't state that they had praised Bates for the way he has run the club since taking it over.

Agree0 Disagree0

From my previous reply, the word "heavily" is only used by The Scratching Shed and NOT GFH. Having an 'understanding' is not gospel truth, it's we think this might happen, but if it doesn't then we didn't say it would.

Happy Days

Agree0 Disagree0

You can assume that heavily could be the key with their ambitions. Otherwise their ambitions won't come to fruition. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I think they will be praising bates for running a debt free club

Believable14 Unbelievable49

Id say it is 50million

Beckford signed on loan till December for CleckHuddersFax, that's the end of that rumour then. Would have made a difference but I personally think kenwyn Jones would be a better player to make an impact. Robbo 77

Believable41 Unbelievable5

To be honest guys it was inevitable really, him and grayson are so far ip each others arse its untrue although i did not want to see him here again i mist certainly did not want him there either of all places

Agree0 Disagree0

If we cant back that up wirh someone better were in big big big trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

Am gutted beckford has gone to a small club like udders they are cash rich so guess he has yet again gone for the money, am getting fed up with constant droaining on about ex players comming back. Get a life.

Agree1 Disagree0

This must be our lucky week!
Beat Forest & Everton, Bates leaving and the icing on the cake non return of 1 goal in 5 atemps Beckford.
Things can only get better.
AJ Wakey White

Agree1 Disagree0

He left us to and be a bit part player at eveton(perhaps didnt get a fair amount of starts)But thats bcus of his limitations at that level. He then was sold to leicester(everton needed the money)and clearly wasnt happy about that(see his record and the fact leicester fans are happy to get shut!)Also he was offered to us twice last season kb,and more importantly WARNOCK!said no.I wish becks all the best,(but not against us obviously)KEA

Beckford signs for Huddersfield on loan til December!

Believable22 Unbelievable2

28 Sep 2012 21:09:32
Week get better takeover due any time now and beckford looks like going to Huddersfield why would warnock sign one of the laziest forwards why do people rate beckford great 1st division player not championship or he would be banging in the goals at leicester

Agree1 Disagree0

That FA Cup winning goal at Old Trafford ruined Beckford.Only my opinion mind tho
and m {Ed013's Note - What about the goal to win us promotion?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes true m8 :-) But you've gotta admit tho,his head had already moved on by that stage...(just my opinion tho :-P)

Beckford joins Town on loan,Gutted!WHAT THE F**K,WHAT A JOKE.

Believable26 Unbelievable6

Another one missed beckford

to Huddersfield

Agree0 Disagree1

(1) 3pts against an unbeaten Forrest,
(2) We knock an in form Everton out the cup (and deservedly so).
(3) The takeover confirmed
(4) In Warnock we trust,
Add that the fact that most players returning to a former club fail to live up to what they were before and I for one would be happy to keep the Beckford era at Leeds as was that way he remains a Leeds hero - come on you WHITES

Agree2 Disagree0

Has anybody thought that mr.warnock may not want jb?

Agree4 Disagree0

Stop living in league one. He's not even proved himself at championship level. Get over it

Agree1 Disagree0

I too am bitterly disappointed that we missed out on Beckford but also have to agree with the previous post about Warnock not moving for him. As much as I have wanted Becks to come home I've always felt Warnock has had somebody else in mind.

Agree0 Disagree1

Wiil he make a difference NO he's a good div 1 player only not Championship quality at best a bench sitter Kenwyn Jones far better player if we could land him

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Sep 2012 20:18:10
Beckford has joined The Udders on loan, think we've missed out on a good signing , he would have been a good boost to the squad and it would have been great to see him back in a Leeds shirt.

Believable19 Unbelievable8

Why, please explain?
AJ Wakey White

Agree1 Disagree0

Read most other posts mate. His goal scoring record at Leeds was excellent and McCormack is injured, also getting loan players in of his quality at this stage of the season is very unlikely.

Agree0 Disagree1

Get over yourself he's only a good Div 1 player

Agree1 Disagree0

Remember KB said away back ones your in my book an leave my book you dont get back into my book just showed leeds isnt in beckford heart so get over him hes a league 1 starter chamionship bench warmer an a PL reserve player

Beckford signed for Hudds in last 20 mins

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like you were right on the money!! (confirmed by O.S.) any other predictions? Would be funny if this was actually the player himself!

28 Sep 2012 17:12:31
who!! {Ed020's Note - top notch swede from man city!! would have him anyday!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is true as he scored 20 goals in 23 games whilst being on loan at Feyenoord last season {Ed020's Note - he's a goal machine!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Wonderful if true! But hard to see NW calling HIM a squad player? Potential to score in every match at this level - just look what he did in Holland!

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy is a good player. But i don't believe you can trust peoples scoring record from the holland league. Look at kuyt, alfonso alves, suarez all amazing goal records over there but then cant score in the english league. All good players but the Dutch defences make them look better than they are. {Ed020's Note - we are in the championship tho which is a major differance}

Agree0 Disagree0

Where has he said the loan striker is a squad player

Agree0 Disagree0

Please be true, this guy is a quality player!

Agree0 Disagree0

He said squad player on interview on Yorkshire radio

Agree0 Disagree0

Add kezman to the 'flops from the Dutch league' list. Although I agree with ed, there's a huge gulf in the prem to the champ. I think guidetti would be a quality add to the squad!

Scot MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true n he signs everyone will soon forget about beckford, this guy is class.

We definitly need takeover and money, cause Reading, Southampton and Norwich reported "following Rudy Austin closely"... - while Spurs reported "keen on El-Hadji Diouf".

Believable8 Unbelievable66

28 Sep 2012 17:11:45
no chance he leeds all the way.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Sep 2012 17:14:02
Well we can make sure we keep Austin - just dont give him the Captains armband and Norwich will be gone!!

PeteMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Austin is a new signing and can't go anywhere, and Diouf wouldn't get near the spurs first team.

Agree0 Disagree0

None of the clubs stated have shown any interest in Austin and would not do so anyway as he is a contracted player and would command a large fee. Made up post by someone, perhaps the same person who uses 'i' all the time and makes up as much as they can.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is tripe, rudy has just signed and would easily go for 3 million. Diouf likes living up north and loves leeds!

Agree1 Disagree0

Another person trying to stir, even now that leeds will no longer be a selling club. maybe we can send scouts to the clubs mentioned, tho i doubt any of their players will be good enough

Agree1 Disagree0

Is there anyone in our midfield Norwich arn't linked to?

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Sep 2012 16:06:22
Warnock said the loan player will be a squad player, But can't bring him in be4 tomorrow this got me thinking.J stead he praises him in yep today.another player he has tried for at his last clubs is M Tudgay hope not he is sh#%

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Where has warnock said he wont be signing him before 2moros game and where did he say he'll be a squad player

Agree0 Disagree0

Squad player for us or a squad player at his parent club?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Sep 2012 11:52:01
Cant believe this but i have on good authority that max gradel is deffo returning. Also looking to do a deal for cameron jerome as well. Permanent deal as well!!

Believable14 Unbelievable41

Doubt NW would want Cameron Jerome more likely to be Simon Church if any

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive no reason to doubt you
but
personally believe he is not
ts

Agree0 Disagree0

Garbage. Why would Gradel be coming back whilst Ken Bates is still firmly at the reins, and with the transfer window closed?

At least make stuff up that is actually possible.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anything is possible have a little faith us leeds utd brothers and sisters should be more togetherness not getting on each others backs lets hope these rumours are true we have been through bad times and good timesb4 perhaps gd times r coming back dont stop any leedsutd suroprter with there dreams come on leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Gradel is possible, on loan with a view for permanent + no doubt he wants to return

Agree0 Disagree0

The constant use of 'i' in your posts, gives you away as a the made up story teller you are.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have it on good authority that I am ordering sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice with some reliable sauce :) ---- Cheshire White for my tea tonite

the player neil warnock is chasing on loan is harry kane from spurs

Believable6 Unbelievable55

Considering he is on loan at Norwich i doubt it.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ive heard this too from my spurs supoorting pal, hope he comes a good young player {Ed020's Note - have you heard it from yourself? because your the original poster!!! don't pretend to be someone else to back up your rumour mate. next time we'll just block your ip address}

Agree2 Disagree0

Who is at norwich on loan

Agree1 Disagree0

Isn't he at Norwich? And I'm pretty sure I saw on SSN yesterday that he's out for a month?

Agree2 Disagree0

His he not at norwich on loan?

Agree1 Disagree0

Harry lane is on a season long loan at Leeds reserves (Norwich)

Agree1 Disagree0

He is on season long loan at Norwich!

Agree1 Disagree0

Well done ed keep the crap rumours of this site and those trying to make any old bull up

Agree2 Disagree0

Even if he wasn't at Norwich I don't think he would be coming to Leeds. After Smith and Townsend coming and leaving in a short spell of time I doubt spurs or the Ayer would want to come to ER

CRMD

Agree0 Disagree0

Silly post.hes already on loan somewhere else

Agree1 Disagree0

Brilliant Ed - pulled his pants down there! How embarrassing!

Agree1 Disagree0

Wont be coming to us pal.. He`s at norwich city..leeds reserve side..lol

Neil Warnock was awaiting an answer today after lodging a bid for a loan striker ahead of Leeds United's clash with Bristol City.Warnock made his approach for the unnamed forward earlier this week and is looking to complete the signing in time for tomorrow's Championship game at Ashton Gate.

The United manager has been searching for additional strikers since the Football League's emergency loan window opened on September 8 and he has been linked with several players in the past fortnight despite the lack of transfer cash at Leeds and his recent claim that "most of my targets have already gone."

Reading's Simon Church and Stoke City pair Cameron Jerome and Kenwyne Jones have all been named as possible targets, and former Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford could also be available with his Leicester City career in serious doubt.

Believable15 Unbelievable11

Warnock as said in an interview that it aint a 'big name' signing just a squad player

Agree0 Disagree0

Simon church?

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever it is being called 'just a squad player' b4 he's even signed hardly does anyhting for his confidence if he does sign or encourages him to sign in the first place. I wonder about NW sometimes, could choose his words more carefully.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Sep 2012 07:06:09
Just spoken to friend (big A from Morley ) who is close to hierarchy at er and he told me he as been informed nw will be given 20 million to spend on team between now and end of jan once take over is complete on October first
Blw

Believable22 Unbelievable58

That's quite a large amount for the january window when the current team doesn't really need more than around 4/5 million spending on it to be competitive. -DB

Agree2 Disagree0

Big A should get back in the Slip and carry out boozing instead of telling you this nonsense - 20 million in January!! I do believe that Xabi may be coming on loan. LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

I think because of football regulations the most you can invest in transfers is 6m + whatever you make in player sales,so stop wasting our time.

Agree1 Disagree0

Does "Big A" stand for "Big A***hole" keep stories to you self

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's keep the majority of the £20million until we get to the premiership!
