I see GFH have released a new statement saying from the beginning of this deal, upto now, there sole aim is to own ER, TA, LUFC and to invest (and i quote) "HEAVILY" in the club to take us back to the promised land by the end of next seadon at the latest.

It doesn't say anywhere about owning ER, TA, LUFC and to invest (HEAVILY) on the team, so your reading of what they actually stated (from NewsNow) is rather strange. I noticed that you didn't state that they had praised Bates for the way he has run the club since taking it over.

From my previous reply, the word "heavily" is only used by The Scratching Shed and NOT GFH. Having an 'understanding' is not gospel truth, it's we think this might happen, but if it doesn't then we didn't say it would.

To be honest guys it was inevitable really, him and grayson are so far ip each others arse its untrue although i did not want to see him here again i mist certainly did not want him there either of all places

Am gutted beckford has gone to a small club like udders they are cash rich so guess he has yet again gone for the money, am getting fed up with constant droaining on about ex players comming back. Get a life.

He left us to and be a bit part player at eveton(perhaps didnt get a fair amount of starts)But thats bcus of his limitations at that level.He then was sold to leicester(everton needed the money)and clearly wasnt happy about that(see his record and the fact leicester fans are happy to get shut!)Also he was offered to us twice last season kb,and more importantly WARNOCK!said no.I wish becks all the best,(but not against us obviously)KEA

I too am bitterly disappointed that we missed out on Beckford but also have to agree with the previous post about Warnock not moving for him. As much as I have wanted Becks to come home I've always felt Warnock has had somebody else in mind.

Wiil he make a difference NO he's a good div 1 player only not Championship quality at best a bench sitter Kenwyn Jones far better player if we could land him

Austin is a new signing and can't go anywhere, and Diouf wouldn't get near the spurs first team.

None of the clubs stated have shown any interest in Austin and would not do so anyway as he is a contracted player and would command a large fee. Made up post by someone, perhaps the same person who uses 'i' all the time and makes up as much as they can.

This is tripe, rudy has just signed and would easily go for 3 million. Diouf likes living up north and loves leeds!

Cant believe this but i have on good authority that max gradel is deffo returning. Also looking to do a deal for cameron jerome as well. Permanent deal as well!!

Neil Warnock was awaiting an answer today after lodging a bid for a loan striker ahead of Leeds United's clash with Bristol City.Warnock made his approach for the unnamed forward earlier this week and is looking to complete the signing in time for tomorrow's Championship game at Ashton Gate.

The United manager has been searching for additional strikers since the Football League's emergency loan window opened on September 8 and he has been linked with several players in the past fortnight despite the lack of transfer cash at Leeds and his recent claim that "most of my targets have already gone."

Reading's Simon Church and Stoke City pair Cameron Jerome and Kenwyne Jones have all been named as possible targets, and former Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford could also be available with his Leicester City career in serious doubt.

Whoever it is being called 'just a squad player' b4 he's even signed hardly does anyhting for his confidence if he does sign or encourages him to sign in the first place. I wonder about NW sometimes, could choose his words more carefully.
