Mackay-stevens snubs blackburn in favour of leeds united and playing along side his fellow country men ross mc cormack, deal to be done and complete by monday

Or he could go to blackburn and play alongside rhodes and hanley?

Good guess on any possible deal completed by Monday as that is deadline day
Am I just being a cynic here?

There has been a lot of talk about Mackay-Steven on this site for a few months now.
The question I have is, is he any good? As he has been around a while now and nobody has bee interested. Which says a lot to me

I have mate life long Dundee fan say he and all Dundee fans whould be gutted to see who he thinks is there best player leave He's words (He's the real deal)
I my self don't think we will be seeing him at Leeds any time soon if at all. But there is always hope and he would fit Bms criteria young fast skilfully a good old fashioned winger with he's best years still in front of him. In my opinion for what it's worth he will be worth a fortune in 3 years time witch also fits Bms plan

Just been on radio Leeds that Brian mc still looking at bringing 1 more permanent signing before the end of te window.

Would anyone take a punt on marlon king? Haven't seen much of him recently and know he's a complete thug but think he could do a job and get us some goals. {Ed013's Note - No}

Macail-smith from Dundee UTD would be a great buy but maybe cost to much. but you never say never!

Gary Machar Stevens that's your man young fast tricky and will only get better under BM 3 years he will be worth a fortune and would be a big part of getting us to the premiership

Ricardo Vaz Te, a proven goal scorer AND assists at our level, arguably good enough for the Prem. And he's quite young so fits the bill PERFECT. (Plus it will annoy all Barnsley fans seeing him in a Leeds shirt ha ha)

Ha sorry lads I'm a young fan just getting back into football properly! I only remember him from Watford when I was about 13. Looking at other posts etc so apologies for that! McDermott seems to keep his cards close to his chest but where have these vaz te rumours stemmed from? Haven't seen anything remotely linking him other than on this site.

Ian Abrahams (the MOOSE) from station whose a spammers fan was doing a match report and vaz te scored a cracker of a free kick and then told everyone that he was very likely to move before window shuts and most likely to move to LEEDS ( he's well connected when it comes to his club the spammers as on most transfers in or out he's reported on have came true

Rumours Palace and Lecister in for Vaz Te if true we have only got the pull off playing for Leeds and the best support in the land, my bet is the ££££ come first. either way MCcormack Varney army Poleon Matt smith are doing the business so if he comes good news, if he don't carry on regardless LUFC comes be4 any player

Vaz Te's contract is up in May so the fee won't be huge however his wage will . Coming from Barnsley where he was paid very little I don't think Spam are paying him astronomical wages though

I'm pretty sure he signed a new deal when they got in prem either way palace can pay Better wages and so can Lecister, But Lecister won't pay silly wages anymore as once bitten twice shy.

Supposedly on 13k a week at west ham

Diouf is supposedly on around 11-12k a week so maybe it could happen!?

Leeds cull rumours of cash problems with a £4mil + poleon season long loan deal for peterborough's tomlin who mc dermot has been a fan of for some time now

Tomlin is not worth 4m, just because he scored a hatrick vs reading don't mean were after him

Oh here we go again, yet another crazy last minute rumour (is this you Darren Ferguson?). Tomlin is at best a league one player, on a good day, he certainly is no Poleon and as for 4mill where is that money going to come from - unless daddy is going to dip into his Fergie pockets!

Silly, silly, silly, have you watched Poleon this season, he is a player who will cause problems to defenders with his pace and touch. He will get more playing time and more experience by staying wih us and become a more mature rounded player.

If leeds had 4mil, they would be signing 2 or 3 players. Not just one and be throwing in a good future prospect.

Tomlin has scored more than a hat trick against reading check out his goal scoring record and many other clubs are after him, we (leeds) are using the tactic of claiming we have no money as it gives us the upper hand when bidding, if clubs knew we had money the price would inflate. dom poleon is still young and has learning to do and also has to work on his finishing i'm a leeds fan myself and anymore who says he's gunna be next big thing has been watching some1 else, this rumour has come froma good source not made up

No one is saying he will be the next big thing, people are saying he is a good player with potential. After seeing him in several games you can clearly see he is dangerous and unpredictable who will undoubtebly cause problems with any defence in this league and can only get better playing in the championship and offers us a completely different angle to hunt, varney and smith he will be a crucial part of this season and loanin him out would be a ridiculous move.

Actually not a fact because u don't buyout a contract as they won't be paying it anymore, a players valuation has nothing to do with wages, they could accept 500k or 5 mill

If GMS is that good then what do you think is the incentive for Dundee to sell him for a measley 500k with 2 years left? Come on boys stop being silly. Personally looking at youtube vids of him I think he looks tasty but so does Griegs pasties until you bite into them. Dundee would want him doing the job for them until at least the end of this season before cashing in unless we pay over the odds. and that I can't see otherwise we would have Mills, Vaz Te and a bunch of other guys. But what do I know about football :)?

Whats this tosh about not buying out players contracts? Talking B/S. Why do think there are several Wolves players on 40-60k contracts in Div 1? There are plenty of teams willing to offer contracts to them and Wolves eager to offload but clubs simply not willing to buy out the 2 years they have left on that wage. The club will always demand more money for a player they have registered to them with longer time left on contracts. Buying clubs have to meet both players wage bill and clubs transfer fee / valuation. Standard business unless your playing subbuteo
