Latest rumours;
Becchio to Norwich plus cash and Morison
Habib Habibou to sign before Thursday
Stephen Warnock in by tomorrow along with Gorkss.

If we swap becchio for morrison and get the reported 2 to 3 million ontop I will be amazed. that just might be the best deal we have done in 10 years (although we have not got much to beat)!!!

Someone told me about the offer for Becchio from Norwich and I thought he was winding me up. He reckoned 2.5m in clauses, 1m up front, with Steve Morrison. I thought 1m up front isn't a lot but with Steve Morrison included, I think this could be a good deal.

Steve Morrison is a good player and I think in himself he must still be worth a good fair wack. Hmm I'd probably accept,

Just seen an article claiming that we're getting £3.5m + Steve Morison in exchange for Becchio, I'd take that all day long!

3.5 will buy us another striker or winger & attacking midfielder.

That would be a good deal all round

Its a deal worth 3.5 million so whatever norwich value Morison at has to be taken away from the 3.5. Probably worth 500 k .its a good deal if he scores goals

In my opinion, Steve Morison is a better striker than Becchio. I'd take the money and him, lovely stuff.

Not sure it's £3.5M plus Morison, more like the total deal is worth £3.5M.

If its same one I've just read its def £3.5 mill + Morrison ...orignal poster was it from a online paper which lets say adds its own REFLECTION reflected issues that are picture image lol

Norwich are ready to buy Leeds striker Luciano Becchio after failing to land Celtic's Gary Hooper.

They turned to the unsettled Argentinian on Tuesday and will sign him in a £3.5million deal - with Steve Morison going the other way.

Original Poster here guys, having seen the headlines today I'm inclined to believe that it's probably £1m + Morison. They signed him from Millwall for £2.5m remember so that would explain why the papers are saying £3.5m deal as that's his last market value.

I'd take a swap deal. Better all rounder is Morrison. If we get cash too, then BARGAIN!

Oh let these be true, all aforementioned I'd def take, would be great additions to squad, ! wonder who winger would be as gradel, says no! Maybe just maybe we will have a good second half of a season and push on as did reading et al previously . . . Come on make 2013 a good vintage GFH!! you know it makes sense!

My dad knows Stephen warnocks dad and he has told him he is meant to be signing him on loan till end of the season and then a 2 year contract after. Other clubs interested are wolves and west ham but west ham not offering a long term contract which is why he is coming to leeds.

WHY? NW bought Drury 'best left back in the league' never got a sniff. White, a top LB hardly plays! Pearce, top defender, gets banned after been arguably our best player and hasn't started a league game since! Am I missing something here? Because when I go watch Leeds week in week out our midfield gets dominated, slow, no creativity, no pace has been owned every game. We need attacking / flare / pacey / creative players. Out with the old, slow, experienced crap NW and bring players in worth going to watch! Everybody can see what we're lacking!

Was never given a chance, had the potential, you only have to youtube him to see that, was named as the most valuable player in the concacaf tournament I think once, when you've got the likes of Argentina (Messi), Brazil (Neymar) and Uruguay (Suarez), in that tournament, that's some accolade. I saw in a National paper Reading and Leeds have joined the £1m chase for Sheffield United's Nick Blackman. I believe Reading might be interested but doubt we would sign anyone for such a large fee.

Another national is saying that reading are making a 1.2mill bid. Wether we can go toe to toe financially i'm not sure we can.

I have my doubts about this. Aston Villas' defence is useless and Warnock can't get in the team.

Cracking signing if it happens. He is good enough to play in the Premiership but Paul Lambert is showing he doesn't know much when it comes to management.

Fed up of Warnock now, we need creative flare pacey midfielders. Defence is fine but since our midfield is slow and crap were constantly on the back foot.... It's about time we bought players who can create / attack!

If we don't buy any flare pacey players and we sign another defender or defensive midfielder I'm burning my ST!

Tv also reporting this, with Sam Allardyce stating that he thought hit was a deal, but the player has accepted a longer term deal from a Championship club!

People saying he isn't good enough to get in the villa team, I think its more to do with PL stubboness! he is playing this young team to try and get them to gel and grow but they lack the leadership and are nieve, look at the bradford game!then look at QPR he has got derry and Hill bck in the side to give the team some determintion and character. We need a mix and our young defence has done well but maybe some experance in there could make us that bit more solid.
