Anyone know if there's any truth in the reports of a Chinese takeover or is it just a load of chow mein? There saying they want to inject 100 million into us to make us massively successful. Not sure on this one buts it's in a couple of papers including yep.

heard it all before tbh Martyn. I would be surprised if anything comes of it probably that Tipper bloke just generating some free publicity for his company. How many times have we heard this in the past?
According to MC no approach has been made but Tipper says he has been negotiating all week so someone is fibbing.

I say there's truth in it without knowing of course. Things are different now. It is widely accepted that we are 3 good players away from a playoff spot vying team so it is inevitable prospective investors and buyers will look at Leeds. Before now, we were more than half a team away so no-one was interested but we moving right direction now. Plus Monk is going to prove to be our best coach since Larry. Don't think Cellino will sell to the Chinese but I predict more groups to show interest.

Reading over what he has said again is that he has been in meetings all week with those interested in forming/ joining the consortium which means to me that the consortium is not actually complete, agreed, funded etc which would need the usual legal agreements for those joining the consortium etc which would all need to happen prior to making an offer. He claims there is plenty of interest for the scheme. Seems quiet a bit away from actually happening. The timing is rubbish with only a short window remaining for player recruitment.

Well mc not been I the country all week so you never know I only got back today which is abit stupid when we're still trying to get a couple of signings over the line. I agree though this season look like it could be our best shot so far were spending for the first time in along time and recruiting pritty well like some of you say 2-3 players off a strong side this year. It's my first season with a season ticket for me and my boy this year and I've got to admit I'm really looking forward to it. Now weather I'm saying that at Christmas we will see lol but I feel were being pritty positive this summer.

These rumours seem to be gathering pace so fingers crossed. Leeds must be an attractive proposition to any investor. Out side of the Premier league top few clubs, we must be one of the most investable clubs around. Let's hope when the Chinese do their due diligence it's all cut and dried and there's not too many GFH/ Bates skeletons uncovered.

Pops gets my vote wex as does his daughter.
Pops is doing well but he needs to keep going. Central defender, defensive midfielder and winger of good quality and we're there.

Leeds is a massively attractive prospect in thought, it's when you've yo put it into practise that it all falls down.
I'd rather buy out Rotherham or the likes at a fraction of the price and have far less bitter opinionated fans telling me what I should do with my money, let alone buying out those snakes in the grass GFH.
Sheffield United would be a great proposition for Chinese investment, Leeds United just isn't worth the hassle.
And I'm a Leeds fan, hard to believe.
