Anybody else of the same opinion that either wood will travel and start, or not travel at all? He won't be on the bench I don't think. Praying he's fit, we've never needed the kiwi more. I think our great team will grind out a marginal win with some questionable refereeing on the night. Already excited and thank god the break is over. Hope Jansson is back starting for Saturday, need big players with big egos to get a big 3 points

No big egos is excatly what we don't need, what we need is players such as berardi and bartley who do there job without thinking they are bigger than Leeds united. Jansson is good but like monk showed cooper can do a good job V 1 of the best teams in the league.

Yes I'd say having someone in your team who thinks he's bigger than the football club you play for is not what you need to get results. Jansson is definitely not better than Leeds that's why he did nothing but sit on the bench at Torino, he's good but definitely not bigger than Leeds, Bartley is a better player imo.

I think before fans start slating players for doing things, there should be proof first. Nothing has come out of it, so how do you know Jansson thinks he's bigger than the club?

Gary monk himself has already told why he dropped jansson and the reason was because of his arrogance in thinking he wouldn't have the balls to not play him, I'm not slagging him of because he's been very good for Leeds but i definitely don't believe big egos in the team is going to get you results, if he comes back into the team which he probably will then hopefully he thinks twice before being arrogant about his place in the team.

Jansson and Bartley are similar players but shouldn't be compared, they have similar attributes and they compliment each other so well, one of two main reasons that we have been successful this year IMO.

I love them both and would love to see them develop into a long term partnership. There's no proof of Jansson saying any of this, but Saturdays selection will be interesting to see where monks head is at with the situation.

I've personally always liked cooper but I don't think he can cut it pushing for promotion, and certainly not next year if we reach the Premier League, however we may see him along side Jansson if we don't go up and barts doesn't sign, anything could happen?

Long term injuries always a possibility. I'll never write off a Leeds player, look how good green has been, look at what silvestri did to save us in the cup this year. Look what a revelation Berardi has been, and souls, we have so much to look forward to, and I'm glad that our selection discussion is positive and stating that we have good players, rather than saying one isn't as bad as another, like we used to. 8 games, 12 points and I'll be thrilled personally. He is 100% fine. This nudge in the back was a BS story to keep NZ coach and Leeds on good terms by letting him head back to the UK before the second game that NZ was always going to win. He is not injured.
