Just noticed that we have announced a pre season tour of AUSTRIA. Don't recall any previous tours to Austria. Not aware if MC has any connections there. Of course Austria is the home of Red Bull, seems a strange one this as it wold only add fuel to the takeover/investment fire that MC has denied thus far. Previous tours usually to Ireland/Scandinavia where we have overseas support.

Think he picked it for the mild climate. Apparently his pre seasons are pretty intense and he did not want any where too hot.

We are set to play Athletic Bilbao whilst we are over there before moving to Norway for a game against Hoffenhiem in Oslo.
There are some good players in both these sides, it would be nice although unlikely if we were to pinch a couple of new signings.
Hopefully one or two before then.

Rosler's choice, as he feels at home there (look at the map -it's next to Germany and they speak German!), and he has contacts there. -he's been given a free hand to devise his own pre-season. Remember Warnock taking us to Cornwall? With no coach in place at this time last year, Cellino organised for us to go ti Italy; O'Leary arranged for us to play Celtic etc etc. So nothing sinister going on -what happens pre-season is very much up to whoever's calling the shots. You'll note that Uwe also has loads of contacts in Norway, where he coached and played for several years (his wife is Norwegian). So no mileage in any conspiracy here. In fact, I do get a bit tired sometimes of some of our fans' wilder conspiracy theories.

I'm going to visit Austria for the Bilbao game. Hopefully its in Wein or Salzburg. Red Bull will be linked no doubt
