Gary Mac has apparently applied for the job, of the recent coaches which one would you most likely like to have back.
Simon Grayson
Gary Mac
Dennis Wise
Gus Poyet (sort of seeing he was the brains behind wise)
Fell free to add to the list.
Peter Reid?

Grayson. We might have been rubbish at the back but we were good going forward. Concede 3 but in with a chance of scoring 4.

If the 2022 World Cup isn't in Qatar it will be in Germeny and not in England.
Very sad but true.

If Qatar is stripped of the 2022 World Cup, I would imagine the tender process will begin again. Great news for the guys at Fifa, who will get to go on yet another jolly around the world at the expense of grass roots football. The bid process itself sets the bidding country back around £25 million. Regardless of whichever country wins, I can guarantee only one thing; it will not be England as long as Blatter is in charge of Fifa.
We've blown our chips way too many times by exposing the corruption endemic in World Football that started with Havelange and continued with his protégé; Sepp Blatter.
Now, if we would just keep our mouth shut, our press under control and the greedy outstretched palms of Fifa officials stuffed with various currencies. On the other hand, Fifa could clean up its act. 'So which slush fund would you like the cheque made out to, Mr Oyeniyi?'
Agree4

If Qatar are stripped of it I would imagine Sepp Blatter will be under investigation and removed from his position so Engalnd may have a good chance, plus Germany had it in 2006 so no chance they would get it again so quickly.

If Qatar is "Stripped" I can tell you its to be held in USA.

Seriously? C'mon guys let's be at least slightly realistic. Last summer we bought Murphy and that was the first time we spent £1m on a player since Richard cresswell. You think or expect us to believe were going to be spending £4m? We won't spend that all summer let alone on one player. Cellino has said today that he thinks he has a better team than he first thought! Sounds like an excuse not to spend to me?

Macallister was rubbish, the football dire.
Grayson was one dimensional and his tactics non existent.

That would be a massive statement of intent and a great start.
Not having a pop mate but out of genuine interest how would that work with frozen bank account? would it be a loan or pre-contract agreement? or doesn't it come into it at all?

Very unlikely given that calgliari turned down in region of 10mill from russia for I'm. Also mu/eveton apparently after him and with an asking price of 8mill seems rather unlikely.

This is a big statement to make, one that could make or break ones creditability (if at all possible) on a 'rumours' site, if you're are right it would be hard to doubt you in the future, however, if you are wrong then your future posts will become irrelevant!

First thought behave, then got excited. then saw who posted it and laughed that I even gave it serious thought. so in the same vein as Jeff I shall name our next manager gainluca di rayMcto
somewhere in that punt of a name are some correct letters of our next manager. because I am in the know
Agree1

This story has been all over the press for the last two days so hardly a Jeff scoop is it? He is taking a punt and if it comes off everyone will assume Jeff is in the know, if it doesn't Jeff will claim some clap trap about negotiations breaking down. He can't lose and people actually believe him. give me strength!

02 Jun 2014 13:08:27
So a mate of mine reckons he was talking to Massimo at a taxi rank in Leeds on Saturday.
This is what I managed to get from him: He said the next manager would not be Italian. he said that he likes Festa, he is a funny man, but not a good man, and that he basically said Zola is a something that rhymes with sick. Finally he said that he wanted a British manager (something I think he's said before) and that it would be someone we didn't expect.
I've no reason to doubt him, but it still doesn't give us much to go on.

Agree0

Sorry, yeah, I said manager when I meant coach. Good spot.
I'm not saying what was said is necessarily FACT, just that a friend of mine, who has no reason to lie, says he saw him and talked to him. Not entirely unrealistic when you think that he pretty much talks to anyone who'll listen, and is regularly seen around the place in Leeds.
Of course if he was out of the country at that time, then it is impossible that he had this discussion, and he must've talked to an imposter. or made it up.
Oh, and I looked back over what my mate had said, and I was wrong, he didn't say he wanted British, he said it wouldn't be an Italian.
Agree0
Disagree0
Also, I don't exactly comment on here often with rumours. In fact I don't really do it at all. Its no wind up Survivor, just what I've been told.
(and relayed in a poor way - using the term manager when I should have used Coach.)

4 more rumours today and its getting beyond a joke now
Astori is apparently closer to joining us than Man Utd, Everton and Spurs . HOW HOW HOW
Ferdinand Sforzini - Big 30 year old striker from Pescara
Danielle Cacia - 30 year old striker from Verona Hellas. We were linked with him last season so this is a non runner.
Khizanishvili - Linked to him last season but he rejected us to stay in Turkey. Yet another poor attempt by these awful sites on newsnow (HITC)
