mate of mine works in the ticket office says only 19000 sold for game today. that should tell the men at the top bring the price down for every game not just the odd game the players need the fans to push them on to make the playoffs 25000pluss do that better than 18 or 19000 never the less the dundee boys will be at the game whatever the price would just be nice to have a few pounds left over from cheeper tickes to buy a few beers b4 the game m. o. t dundee whites

Crowd no. s also down due to millwall only bringing 100 fans

They can't until next season mate because can you imagine the current season ticket holders reaction? They would be mightily pissed off that they paid more for their ticket than the bloke next to him

Agree0 Disagree2

To be fair millwall only allowed like 200 or something like that but agree prices should be reduced.

Having watched the Football League show on Saturday night you couldn't miss the rows and rows of empty seats at a vast majority of games even those teams in the playoff spots. We all watch under performing teams week in week out but we go because we are loyal supporters. When the price is hiked up we all pick and choose what we can afford. As a kid I went to watch local matches in the second league and there were 30,000 supporters. This same team now have 14,000 attendances. 16,000 fans haven't died but the games killed them off. Unless Leeds have something to play for I suggest they think wisely and drop prices to move the club forward and upward.

The empty seats should send a message to all clubs - It's time to reduce the price of watching football, significantly. Season ticket at Leeds should be £300 tops for kop, south and (adult) family - all core parts of the ground that need to be full to generate the atmosphere that helps the team on the pitch

Is there was 19,000 then I don't see why the owners didn't make all the tickets half price. They would of filled the stadium and still made the money they would of 19000 full price tickets considering our capacity is around 38,000

What do you think ed?
Durham white {Ed003's Note - makes sense to me)

A pricing strategy that's worked everywhere it's been tried. Dropping prices does increase attendance which, in turn, increases revenues from food/beverage/merchandise sales etc.
Prices should only go up as attendance gets close to capacity, when tickets start to become scarce commodity.
Punishing the faithful who go week-in week-out (and will beg borrow and steal to do so), whilst dishing out second-rate 'entertainment' will eventually lead to greater disaffection, even in the most diehard fans. You have to wonder where these guys learn their trade
