Thom Kirwin interviewed SG after game and he 'hinted' he would have to look into 'the market'

I hope it isn't a fruit and veg market..
Rachubka = Turnip

Believable25 Unbelievable1

No point he can't take us any further, and even if by a miracle he ever did he is not good enough for the top flight.

Agree0 Disagree0

What and Warnock, Kean, Rodgers and Martinez are? get a grip, if he gets us there he gets us there, managers make mistakes, just with some impatient fans being too quick to jump on the poor guys back

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree Grayson is just not good enough, tactically inept, plays his favourites instead of his best, whats Ramon done wrong cant even get on the bench get real Grayson hes proved time and time again hes an impact player, please apply for the Leicester jobs before sunday

Agree0 Disagree0

SG do the honourable thing and resign. You have taken the club as far as you can.

Agree0 Disagree0

How much more time do you want to give him? Wait until we are relegated? Wake up and get a grip.

Agree0 Disagree0

A turnip would make a better keeper than Rachubka. Why did SG not go for Harper when he had the chance? I am afraid its because his management skills are not good enough. That decision has cost us promotion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nunez flatters to deceive. Spectacular Sky TV goals yes, team contribution no. Against the likes of Donny in the league cup he'll get goals but he's looked poor in the league. No positional sense, poor defensive skills. Players like that cost more goals than they score, especially against good teams.

As for SG, calling for him to be sacked is moronic and unrealistic. We're 10th not 20th. He had no money to invest or even to keep players at the end of their contracts and any realistic assessment of our financial situation suggests 10th is pretty good with the resources he's been given. We are no longer a big wealthy club and 'fans' who think we are are pretty delusional. I also expect the anti-SG brigade are not the people at the games, paying cash, who are big SG fans by and large.

If you guys calling for his head can afford to buy out Mr. Bates and find the cash to fund player purchases or even hire in a high profile manager, then get your chequebooks out. Otherwise, get a grip or go back to playing Football Manager.

And if you have got the cash - just take a look at where Leicester are...

Agree0 Disagree0

Omg lay off grayson you idiots hes done what many managers havent been able to.. are you all stupid... SG all the way MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of rubbish some on here speak!Grayson may not be the best but he has worked well with what he has 1 defeat does not mean instant relegation.Should be judged on how the team respond in the next game that will show the mentality of the management and squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shameful performance,
Grayson's to blame-he cannot get the best out of the players
why persevere with Howson-done nothing all season

Agree0 Disagree0

Worst thing to happen to Leeds would be for Grayson to resign. Who on earth would take over and work with Bates?

Let's face it, the behaviour of the club is getting more and more bizarre. Can't see anyone of any reputation joining.

Agree0 Disagree0

The "grayson out" brigade must be the ones who listen to the radio or watch TV and only go to ER to watch a category c
game when it's cheap since all I hear is support for SG at the games. Of course he has made mistakes and he will be the first to admit them. Calling for a managers head achieves precisely nothing and if someone would have said 3 years ago that we would be in the Championship having already finished one place outside the playoffs and now 10th you would have laughed at them. Remember the last few managers that have been and gone(McCallister/Blackwell/Wise/Venables/Reid) and then tell me you would sack Grayson!

Agree0 Disagree0

Go to every game actually to see the rubbish we got last night so i think i have every right to voice my opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

How stupid are you people??? Grayson has been the one that got us up, he nearly got us into the playoffs last year when most people were expecting mid table and has been kncking on the playoffs door this year after spending errrm nothing. Get a grip we lost because of keeper errors and yes grayson bought him and it may have been a mistake but how many mistakes did you make at work this week? call yourself leeds fans. Grayson all the way and will get us back in the premiership

Agree0 Disagree0

If i made thse mistakes in my working environment I would be sacked, you obviously work in a warehouse or something where your mistakes can go unnoiticed., and for the record we sat at the top of the champinship at xmas last year with a great chance of promotion, oh just remind me where did we finish last yeat not even in a playoff position, oh dont tell me that was a great position for our first season back in the championship, typical leeds fan supporting leeds 40years you are going to say, my opinion is Graysons done a good job time to move on and bring a premiership manager in who can get us promoted

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of you lot really dont know anything about football!! Its one game for christ sakes. with 10 men and against a half decent Blackpool team it was always gonna be an up hill struggle! Sometimes it happens! Look at Scum! 1-6 to city!! did you hear the shouts for sack Fergie?? Grayson is doing a good job! every manager makes a few dodgy signings! get off his back and get behind the Team if your all true Leeds FANS!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

SG has assembled a good first 11 (apart from Howson) but some of our fringe players in partuiculaur keeper/defenders are terrible. Had it not been for Lees and Clayton (both of whom he didnt plan on starting this season) he would have been sacked by now, fact! He has been a very lucky boy and he needs to sort out himself quick otherwise he can go for me. Oh and please take Howson and Paddy with you!

Agree0 Disagree0

SG needs to go for me. They never look motivated and always start slow and sluggish. He hasnt sorted the defensive problems out and playing that clown in goal was the last straw for me. We can't even deliver a dangerous set piece, no plan or set play just hit and hope. We need a motivator in to get the team and the crowd going not his dour tones. Billy Davies would get everyone fired up !

****Heard a rumour**** that Andy Lonergan will be back on the 19th for the away trip to Burnley. can't bloody wait.... Gj

Believable27 Unbelievable9

I was told that it would be 3 weeks as of last weds so this would make sense

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant - yes we miss him, Rachubka is not in the same class.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 minutes gone and Rachubka blows it for us twice. Get a keeper in on lo!n before the weekend

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares mate . we`ve had it for this season , just like last season. When the oppertunity comes we bottle it. Down hill all the way. Embarrassed again and I live in southampton! look what they have done. Grayson OUT

Agree0 Disagree0

Two years to sort out a discraceful back four. a man that for some reason thinks kasper s. was no good, and brings in the biggest waste of space i have honestly ever seen [rahubka]. me personally will celebrate the day bates and grayson, have left our. neil

Agree0 Disagree0

Well, every season brings a disaster....Rachubka even predicted that Holloway would do something no one expected...we certainly did not expect 4.0 after 66 minutes. I gues you could say it was a self fulfilling prophecy! Worse still no worthwhile central defence next game with O'Dea injured and Lees suspended. I really thought we were nearly there. I know of no rumours which will put things right... that is frightening. But even after today we will be still in striking distance...the important time is next year...only then will we know who bottled it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Self fulfilling prophecy? Are you studying sociology by any chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

TO BE HOPED SO MIGHT BE AT BOTTOM OF LEAGUE BY THEN

Agree0 Disagree0

Alright fair points that game was muck rachubkas not gud enough but where have u bunch of moaners been for the last 2 months do u lot always wait for a s**t result to post ur comments and pass judgement the leeds faithfull sank their hearts out tonit

Agree0 Disagree0

Show these fans some respect get behind the team the team looked really tired tonite im worried bout the whole thing too but this negetivity doesnt do anything wat alternatives are there post them please sick of talk bout bates and grayson out truth is noboby has wanted the club other than the old git and anyone who has shown interest had deep pockets and were all talk

Agree0 Disagree0

I go to the games - Schmeichel was NOT a good keeper. Shot stopper yes, organiser NO, cross catcher only marginally better than Rachubka. Allegedly a disruptive influence in the changing room. Grayson was right to let him go - he's been crap for Leicester too.

There is a lot of overreaction & hyperbole here. Every season brings odd results and one bad result doesn't destroy a season - we got panned twice by a poor QPR team last time we won the title. Odd things happen in football and calling for the manager's head after a couple of bad results (and one very bad performance - we were great against Cardiff 2nd half) is premature and immature.

What matters is what happens next. We certainly need a keeper on loan no matter what - I can't see Rachubka playing again for us - and the test of Grayson's leadership is how he deals with this.

I think some of you guys (younger ones I expect) need to get a bit more perspective.

If Grayson has a weakness it's that he tends to play the same team too often so players do get tired. Clayton looked poor last night - he's played every game and he's too young for that - but we don't really have the squad to rotate. That's down to Mr. Bates putting his hand in his pockets.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lonergan was talking to paul reeney at the centenary pavilion on wednesday night and said he would be back after the barnsley game

Agree0 Disagree0

We have now played 15 games this season and, hand on heart, that was only the second game in which we have been outplayed (the other was against Southampton). Yes, tonight we were dire and even if Lees had stayed on the pitch we did not look good enough to get a result but I wish fans would be realistic and look at the season so far and not take one game in isolation and act like we are in a relegation dogfight! As for spending money- the only team that has done that so far is Leicester-enough said!

Agree0 Disagree0

6 points off fourth bottom is not a decent start to a season. Grayson has had long enough to sort out the team and failed. In my opinion this team is worse than the one which went down to league 1. In addition to a decent keeper we need some midfield muscle. Someone who will help out the defence. Kamikaze football at the moment. And no I am not a young fan. The first games I went to had players such as Clarke, Bremner and Giles in the team!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know how anyone can say this is a worse team than that which was relegated to Div.1. That was a team of outcasts and has-beens who nobody wanted and that was pretty obvious. 6points off 4th bottom or 6 points off 3rd top! talk about a glass being half-empty! And I watched Bremner,Giles etc. and still go every week
