Cameron stewart should be joining personally I think he is a great player at this level

Believable43 Unbelievable18

Dropped from charlton first team, maybe he was too great.

Agree4 Disagree2

Maybe he didn't want to be there

Agree3 Disagree3

He has the ability to win Championship games on his own. Problem is he rarely shows/uses it

Agree1 Disagree0

Hull City fan tells me he was a one trick pony with a few fancy step overs and no finished product in to the box.
We at least need a proven crosser of the ball on the wing otherwise having a winger is pointless. now that is a fact!

Agree4 Disagree1

Staying at charlton been told it was on ssn transfer news

We'll this is a bit annoying. None if my posts are being published for some reason. I happen to have had a definitive confirmation of the four targets from a member of he coaching staff and basically published it as a 'prediction'. I can afford to be less coy about it now as it's not seen the light of day. Anyway a good bunch of players (two certain and two optimistic/expensive) are being sought after right now. Berty

Believable5 Unbelievable33

Looks like the issue is resolved, what are the names?

Agree0 Disagree1

It's annoying when you forget things, names are always a problem for me

BMD has said one of his targets is prem bound. If ince was a target (Which I doubt. ) think this will be the one going to the top flight. Don't expect to see big name joining but think we can expect quality prospect from lower leagues to add to the squad. Personally I think we are just adding a few now and then further strengthen for a proper assault on promotion next season. Although BMD does get his sides moving in the second half of the season. Cameron Stuart seen at Thorpe arch to day Ara singing one of foure pacey winger young lad be good at leeds the others Ara nahki wells max gradel and a keeper from prem league who do we facncy in a keeper any clues

Believable7 Unbelievable20

We bring another gk in and replace kenny you can forget about going up. he's been very good 4 us and in no way needs replacing.

Agree4 Disagree0

Keeper injuries!

Agree2 Disagree0

30 Dec 2013 20:10:25
Gradel deal too expensive to risk after his inury - B McDermott feels he can't gamble such a large amount on a players fitness after sending reps to watch him. This deal is dead in the water.

Agree2 Disagree0

30 Dec 2013 20:12:16
kenny very good shot stopper but does make a lot of wrong decisions and is always looking long

Agree1 Disagree1

Wes foderingham from swindon, he is quality

Agree1 Disagree0

I think if we do sign a keeper it will be a young one, early 20's I'd guess, as a backup for Kenny but ready and good enough to take over when Kenny either retires or gets too old to be good enough. Alex Cairns doesn't seem to get enough time to be our No. 1 as things stand

Agree1 Disagree0

Cains is terrible that's why

I have close contacts at Swindon Town and we are looking to sign keeper Wes Foderingham this January. With Ashdown out injured McDermott wants backup to Paddy Kenny ( seems Cairns isn't rated by him ) at 22 Foderingham is young enough to significantly improve and potentially go on to be our number one and also has enough appearances and experience behind him to fill in this season if needed.

I don't know how far down the line any discussions are or how much the transfer fee will potentially be, but we are 100 percent interested.

Believable10 Unbelievable17

Your interested not leeds is what you meant. wes is terrible in league 1 so god knows why you think leeds would want him

Stevenage have confirmed some championship clubs have approached them over 21 year old winger luke freeman, now i'd guess we would be one of them. Young, cheapish, low wages and he's a winger

I have it on good authority that Luke Freeman and Cameron Stewart will join the club early January.

Believable31 Unbelievable10

Freeman a very good player - strong quick and bags of skill - looks like a young head of hair B. McDermot at Arsenal also - see Freemans goals for Arsenal U18s on ytube

Agree1 Disagree0

Freeman in a machine!

Ed, I have stopped posting for a long time ;just once in 4 months, but I have news
Leeds are bidding for Luke freeman this is Fact!!

Believable24 Unbelievable8

Yh that must b correct as u ain't posted in 4 months so yh spot on lol freeman humm yh just what we need another useless winger

Agree0 Disagree2

To the first reply. what do you mean ANOTHER useless winger? We only have one winger and he's only played about 20 minutes how can you decide if he's useless based on that

All rumoured striker targets for January;

Connor Wickham
Nahki Wells
Callum Wilson
Lewis Grabban
Benik Afobe
Luciano Becchio
Paddy Madden
Adam Le Fondre
Kevin Phillips
Darren Mattocks

Take your pick.

Believable12 Unbelievable22

Le Fondre, Grabban, Wells, Wickham in that order, I think Becchio has proved that he's not a Premier League striker and Prem quality is what we have to be looking at now. No good thinking players would do a job in the Championship unless they come in on loan

Agree2 Disagree1

Take wells and maybe wickham that's about it!

Agree0 Disagree2

30 Dec 2013 14:48:06
only one of these worth buyer rest crap

Agree0 Disagree1

This isn't a rumour. It's just a wish list of 10 strikers you've thought of.
McD already says he has identified the 4 he needs and one of those is already targeted by a Premier club, leaving 3 targets at this time

Agree1 Disagree0

Darren mattocks----plz mate get of fifa. look at his stats in real life and your see he's just as bad as habib habibou. kevin phillips naa le fondre dream on. paddy LOL why? becchio he's useless. afobe who? grabban terrible team player very greedy. callum wilson yes I like him young and hungry. wells is not championship level standard and wickham will be in the prem

Agree0 Disagree0

The same Habbibou that has scored 11 goals this season, 4 more than our second striker Smith.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Different league}

Vancouver have already got rid of the majority of players to rebuild for the 2014 season in MLS and Mattocks was kept so they clearly see him as a piece worth keeping

Leeds will make a move to sign Kevin Phillips in January if no other strikers are available. Phillip is set to have crunch talks with Tony Pulis which is likely to end in termination of his contract. MOT

Just heard a rumour from a reliable source that leeds united are looking at tottenham player Alex Pritchard (on loan at Swindon). If this is correct, it will be a good signing, young, talented, paced winger with great potential.

Believable14 Unbelievable20

Potential is irrelevant in loan deals

Agree0 Disagree2

But it might not be a loan?

Agree2 Disagree0

Don't think it will be a loan, looking at around £1mill mark.
