Eddie being recalled ( watch him score a barrel load for a champoinship rival) . leavung one striker in Bamford who is injured .
If the club had reasonably 3 or 4 strikers in the squad since the beginning of the season it would not be an issue Eddie leaving. incompetence of the highest order from the Leeds hierarchy.

Well let’s see. You could argue that we haven’t really needed Eddie and he hasn’t done all that much for us anyway. Bamford not out for long and had been doing well.

But if he gets hurt we have nobody (maybe Roberts) . Edmondson doesn't get a run in and it takes months for someone to learn the system.
We need someone. Hopefully a plan is in place.

I have to laugh at some of the comments on here sometimes. So Baz, incompetence of the highest order from the Leeds hierarchy! So incompetant we somehow find our selves stuck right at the top of the division. F##K me.
Incompetance of the highest order! Perhaps you would prefer Bates and co back or one of the other set of Muppets we have had over the last 20 years. We all know by now that Bielsa likes a small squad, that's the way it is.
Why would he play Eddie over a player he thinks is more suited to play his style. I trust these guy's to do the business for us. Strange to have a small squad maybe, but I would'nt call Bielsa Incompetant. Nor Radz, our club has'nt been run as well in many a year. MoT. In the Hierarchy we trust.

Ed it’s very likely that Radz and Orta wanted to sign Eddie based on his promise and the fact he was available and fit into our pricing model rather than someone who Bielsa asked for. I think Bielsa would have preferred Kent but we didn’t want to pay for him.

Fredh. all it takes currently is for Bamford to remain injured and then there is no striker in the team or on the bench . Roberts is not a striker.
Yes that is utter incompetence
Last season mess up in January window and messing up promotion was not great either.

Next, I agree, four strikers who can step up should be on the books ; at the start of the season, that was Bam, Eddie, Tyler, Ryan, and Harrison even slotted in there pre season. If Eddie goes back, he needs replacing.

Completely agree Ed but it makes more sense if you understand that our owners prefer to do things as cheaply as possible rather than properly. Ultimately we just wasted a loan fee that could have been spent in getting someone who was closer to the finished article or more likely to play a bit more often.
