I don't think he was given a fair chance.

Good, always looked slow and off the pace. Poor signing, and very much not what we needed.

Good, he would need to practice to achieve hopeless. Liability all last season after he got his contract.
Agree4

You might find he's injured and having treatment at Thorpe arch along with wootton and mowat and Austin official leeds site said him and Austin would poss join up with team later next week.

Hopefully not judging on last season, all the players going have been a waste of time .
Lets hope Hunt and Kenny are next .

On his way to Rangers as we speak

Zal had a great start for us tbf. Match wining tackle & much more. Suddenly in that stupid system McD played they all played crap. Then rumours of him drunk at TA, He's better than he showed when sober & MC won't give him 2nd chances, drink again & instant dismissal

. looks like that will be Ipswich then.
Must be something about the air in that part of the country, with a lot of our players ending up down there these days.

ssn:Ross McCormack has not travelled with the rest of the squad to Italy-looks like he's on his way to either Norwich or Fulham for around 8 million. Why would he leave for a smaller club, by leaving for a championship club he has betrayed Leeds fans-Look forward to his Elland road trip next season!

Love leeds and of course you have to support but come on, smaller club. both recent premiership who can afford to spend 8 mill on one player both don't have a joke of a manager. I think Ross would of stayed had we got a proper manager. I would like to wish Ross the best (expect for when he plays us). Smaller club? hope I am wrong but can see both of these smaller clubs finishing above us. We have to realise who and where we are at the moment not where we once was

Iam hearing that Forest have tabled a £7m bid that has been accepted.

Wrong!
It's £7 mill as of today and still with Newcaslle but West Ham are lingering.
Watch out but you are right about 1 thing that speed of full payment is very important.
Agree4
Disagree1
Ultimately it makes no odds if Ross leaves and where he goes providing the money we get for the sale is reinvested in the squad. I don't know why people get so upset about players leaving the club and especially to a 'smaller' one. If a player wants to leave you have to assume there is a reason as they will have the full facts of a given situation that we can only surmise with.
Agree4

If I am wrong I will hold my hands up and apologise to all. Payment will be 30% up front and the rest staged payments over contract period.

If he leaves, it will be for the same reason that it aways is - money. Just what exactly is the tie-up with Norwich??
Agree1
Disagree1
I agree with Bermondsey, we once were bigger than these 2 clubs, but in reality now the only thing bigger we have than the 2 clubs mentioned is our fan base and as much as it pains me to say it, that alone does not make us a big club.
We have our history which we are all proud of, don't get me wrong, but it's what we do at this present time that matters, and as we all know that doesn't seem to be an awful lot!
I'd be gutted to see Ross go, but for the right money it is the correct thing to do IMO.
Agree5

If west ham give us 5 million and vaz te that would be a sweet deal imo
Agree6
Disagree2
Have you ever thought that the decision to sell might be out of his hands?
So many are already attacking him for leaving for another Championship, but it may be a decision from MC to get £7 or £8m to reinvest in the team.
It happens in football, Milner was sold but didn't want to leave, Woodgate was sold when he wanted to stay, but they are persuaded to leave for the greater good.
He has done well for us, let him pursue whatever avenue is available to him.
I hope he doesn't leave, but if he does and returns to Elland Road in the new season, I will applaud him!

Had it on good authority this morning quite a few clubs have made enquiries, including Leicester city and QPR looking at cash + a player exchange but can't find out which player they are offering!!
Anyone know who it might be?

He hasn't betrayed us at all would you work under a non league coach, he deserves crack at premiership
Agree5
Disagree1
Mr Jenks he's worked with a non-league coach before, why should that alter now he's still getting the money he agreed to 8 months ago when he signed his contract and stated he WAS HAPPY!!
Agree3
Disagree1
Betrayed us, really? Time and time again he has shown his loyalty. He's 28 in August, so is probably at his peak. If he wants to play in the Prem and it's not a Prem side in for him he has more chance with a side that has just been relegated. They have their parachute money, so have a better chance of going up this season than us.
Agree4
Disagree2
As good as he is no ones irreplaceable, maybe we can buy 2 maybe 3 good players with the money. One man doesn't make a team although I accept one man can make a difference in a team.
Agree6

Wherever Ross goes he will not get 28 goals or near it next season. Last year was a flash in the pan.
Agree7
Disagree1
Agree Mr p. We should cash in now while he is worth something. One season wonder I say! Disagree with the two lads saying Norwich and Fulham are bigger clubs. Premiership status doesn't make you a bigger club. History and a fan base makes you a big club.

i would take ibarbo over ross anyday though if it was possible

Andy MOT don't think it is about money think it is about success, think he was going to give us a year to get to the promised land but with hockaday don't think that is likely. |Would you give another year of your life to david hockaday or go to where the chances of sucsess and prem is far greater, Ross only has three years max left at his peak so mess around with none league manager? I know I wouldn't I would of handed in my request the moment DH was made boss. And Razor sorry mate but it's just not the case. Results make you a big club, results is what made leeds a big club and results is what now makes us a weaker/smaller club great fans yes (the best) great history (up there with some of the best) but big club now. no way not even big in our league, the table doesn't lie and we are the 15th biggest club in our league and dwafed by Norwich, Fulham, Cardif and Hull and until we finish above them we will contiune to be so. As a betting man I see at least 12 clubs to finish above us (think we will be lucky to stay up) so don't see how anyone can say we are a big club anymore, Think ross is right to be on his toes
Agree2
Disagree2
Luck to him if he goes, he knows he needs to be in premiership asap and wants to cash in on his present status as a goalscorer, This time next year he might be in some ones reserve team. Whos to say we are not bringing in a recognised goal scorer. Leeds is full of uncertaintys at the moment and if he can not see a future going forward with Leeds we can go forward without him MOT
Agree2
Disagree0
How can anyone say he has betrayed us? Ross has been there through thick and thin for leeds united and when most other players would have left he stayed and showed his loyalty to us. People need to stop thinking that we are still in the prem and doing well .the truth is we are a very average championship club and in my opinion we do not attract players anymore like we once did because players don't know from week to week if they are going to get paid. Would you leave you day job to go to another job where your not sure if you will get paid for the work you have done? I certainly would'nt .
Agree2
Disagree0
Don't you just get sick of all the negativity surrounding Leeds so we have very poor coach we going to get relegated maccormack going to leave yet this hockaday could be a success if given a chance cellino no person
Agree0

Here we go again, find it funny that people critisized Becchio a loyal servant who at age 29 took what would probably be his only chance at premiership football but yet same people don't blame McCormack for wanting to leave. Please some consistancy, as far as I am concerned if you don't want to play for Leeds, don't let the door hit you on the way out and thank you for your services.
Agree3
Disagree1
Ross has got a new contract and decided to go improve . All the Norwich/exLeeds lads Becchio /Snodgrass/Howson /Johnson were all told, go flip yourself there's no new contract . Why are these players traitors and McCormack now a Bona fide vigilante?
Agree1
Disagree1
I for one like Ross, he's NOT premiership standard though. He's got a good first touch, an eye for goal but lacks pace and is not strong enough on the ball. Ross always goes through purple patches and droughts, everyone is shouting how good he was last season, can't remember the dates exactly nov-jan I think he scored 1 goal, if he was in the premiership he'd be out of the team another Becchio, Beckford i'm afraid.
Did any of you saying Ross gave his all see what he said to a fellow LUFC fan on twitterish??
VERY POOR no one player is bigger than Leeds Leeds Leeds

Agree with Cockney white, I always wish Beccio, Snodgrass and Howson (even though I think he was very overrated) the best. The one who sticks in my throat is beckford as he was a trator. I met the squad in dartford before the Charlton game as my wife runs the gym and the hilton and the players stayed there (got a signed shirt). Beckford drove himself down and didn't travel with squad, he refused new contract and left for free yet I was at the huddesfield game a couple of years ago and everyone clapped him? all of the others get slagged for going to a better club and commanding a fee beckford left but didn't give the club a chance to get what he was worth and refused a contract for ages. Good luck to all players after all it is their job not their hobby/passion as it is with us but there is a right and wrong way to go about it. RM RS LB JH all went the right way about it IMO
