Bessie confirmed to the Swans - LUFC OS. Contract cancelled. Can't even get back the wages we spent on the waste of space from a PL club. Pathetic.

Look on the bright side.... He can't get in our team now !

If a prem club wants someone they must have a value so why did we not ask for a fee if that's the case?

Even though he wasn't very good with the lead up to deadline day and deadline day seeing a few departures from ER and no signings our squad now looks thin especially considering the injuries. Midfield looks very light.

Would you rather we kept paying his wages so he could sit and do nothing?? Perhaps you would rather we paid him to leave??

Be thankful he's gone and off the payroll, it frees up some wages for the loanees to come in when the loan window opens next week...

Lets just be thankfull he is OFF our payroll now, he never did anything for us, so was just a liability?

I play for Leeds u15's, all the academy teams are at Elland Road, and let me tell you, their is news of a LB coming in, while apparently that Clingan as well. Other than that I know a couple of the older guys have been told they could be pushing into the reserve team

Never really got a second chance after his performance against Cardiff. I feel a little bit sorry for him as he didnt get a proper chance to show what he could have done for us. Good luck in swansea. Still need to sign a decent LB, White not not the answer as he is a winger.

Amongst some ex-pats...strong rumour David o'leary would love to manage leeds again, when he left he said one day i would love to manage leeds united again.

I saw David O'leary yesterday...he has just signed a 3 year deal here in Dubai so won't be for a while.

I earlier told that Forssell deal with Leeds is very close. Now I´ve heard that it could take up to two weeks until confirmed. There are still couple of teams interested in him and he want´s to make his decision after international matches.

If this is true and he leaves then all the people on here who keep going on about boycotting etc are all correct and thats him going and no signings!!

Any news on possible Leeds targets, ed? Have you heard anything about Snoddy to Blackburn? {Ed045's Note - Haven't heard anymore other than Clingan and the return of the Smith rumour, but I don't think Snoddy will go anywhere.

With the figures being quoted for Snoddy,we will not be a Leeds United player come 11 pm,money before players every time with Bates,a disgrace.

The Smith rumour is going crazy on Twitter but I dont see how/why? It was made very clear that KB could not and was unwilling to meet wage demands and NUFC were asking for £1m contribution to wages. Unless something has changed on that front (doubtful!) I can't see it, although obviously I would LOVE IT.

I really hope that we arent going to waste money on paying wages to bring alan smith back. He is past it and injury prone!

Sanchez Watt has been keeping quiet about rumours so it's a possibility, Wayne Bridge started his career at Leeds and loves the club so it's a good possibitly, Alan Smith is apparently going to America so I doubt that but Mikael Forssell has been at the club and had a trial extended so I can see that being completed.

As for players out, The Gradel one is obviously done, I can't see the Paynter deal going ahead (although I'd love it to) because we don't have many players, especially upfront players then Bessone I can see being fired as he doesn't figure in any of Grayson's plans.

MOT! Also, I'm in full support of Ken Bates and what he's doing at the club. He's kept our club alive. Long live Bates!

No, I was right the first time. Wayne Bridge started his career at Leeds. He was released by Paul Hart (the at the time youth team manager at Leeds) who didn't think he was good enough.
So yeah, his first club was Leeds, not Southampton. He went to the Southampton academy after being released by Leeds
