Exciting times at Elland Road with 272 new signings, or threabouts it seems. Just hope TC can massage all the egos. Unless we can convince the FL to let us put more than 11 on the field at a time, there will be some coming on board who will struggle to make the bench let alone the starting 11. Still, this is a better problem than we experienced at the tail end of last season where we had a small group of overused, tired and jaded players struggling to keep up. All good. Onwards and upwards. MOT.

Maybe that's the thing kiwi, perhaps they don't have egos. Perhaps that's part of what we now look for on players. team players, young and hungry

Well, all players at this level have egos or they wouldn't have risen to where they are and I suspect they have been attracted with promises of things to come. Having said that, I tend to agree with you and hope that we are building a champion team which will always beat a team of champions.

Well all the ones that we signed and have played so far seem like they just wanna get there heads down and play for the team. Hopefully the ones who have signed since the forest game have the same mentality.

TC has the tools to do the job, with the squad we have there is no excuse for anything less than the play offs. The players need to know they have come to a big club, it is their job to perform and get in the team, not want a cuddle if they are on the bench. The competition for places is going to be fierce which is what is needed for success. It Is going to be a great season! ALAW

CIBICKI gets number 22 shirt think this could be a very very good season for LEEDS. The attacking pace of SAIZ. ALIOSKI. GROT. ROOFE CiBICKI. LASOGGA. EKUBAN. I genuinely know a lad (albeit on xbox) that is a Swedish Malmo fam and he reckons cibicki is awful. Guess we will soon find out

I think you have to give some credit to our recruitment to date. We are picking up players cheaper precisely because they are not on everyone's radars, but we see some potential. Look at Alioski and Saiz compared with what is being paid for prem and championship players. The strikers are going to get opportunities so it's down to them to make the most of them and look at what we've done so far without them! On Sacko, surprised he hasn't gone out on a loan to get some game time. Last time I saw him at Elland road he seemed totally lacking in confidence and belief, complete contrast to Alioski.

Love the way our new signings are being written off already by some. True some might say antonsson was a dud and these may be the same but got to trust in our new regime s recruitment to date. Let's give the new lads a chance, we don't need premadonas we need honest team players.

I'm not writing them off at all. Just saying what I was told by a chap who watches him every other week. Grot looks good and keen. I think the recruitment has been fantastic. Cibiki looks the weakest of them is all and I don't think he's going to pull up trees. I'd have given antonson another season here rather than spend more money on another untested method. Would love to see helander sign before midnight

Cibicki looked at by a number of big European clubs, must have been a reason for the interest so i'm optimistic. Did see something with a coach commenting that he was more likely to be a success than Antonsson has been due to a higher level of technical ability.

Well let's hope so. The lad in Sweden said he was gutted they didn't sign antonnson this summer. Guess it's all about perspective and knowing your respective league.
