Take gradel out and add another winger than it is quite likely

Why dont you f--- off with the Smith crap,how the hell would he improve even our team,hes well past it,may as well get Radebe and Batty back as well eh,get a grip.

Funny we can only dream about players we had in league 1!

Smith cannot play upfront and people who think he can haven't seen him play since Manchester so you can't no how good he is

Smith might happen.he would walk into the starting line up at moment.beckford cost 4m for leicester so no chance.gradel was sold coz he was homesick.no chance of returning so soon.

At least Alan Smith played his heart out for Leeds,not like the current load of s**te we've got at the mo.Time to give the boy a chance to redeem himself to the leeds faithful

Why do people keep talking about smith 1st thing if he wanted to come to us he would've come in summer when the talk was rife about us signing him he wanted too much money(before you all say everybody needs to earn a living ye we do but what he has earnt since leaving us hasn't exactly been peanuts now has it?)2nd why can't he get a game with Newcastle or anyone else interested ? Ye he was fantastic in his time with us. But we now need someone who scores goals maybe add 10-15 per season to wade in when strikers are lean! I would have him any-day did well at MK Dons and West Brom

I think today was the final nail in the coffin for grayson but i really hope it isnt Di Matteo who gets the job but who could we get of any note ? we need a motivater and a manager with experience of managing a team who havnt a pot to pee in could billy davies be the man ?

Larry has gone stale I'm afraid.

Grayson has created his own downfall. His antics has lost him the respect of the players and it shows on the field for all to see. Just hope the next man isnt another lapdog to Ken

Can anyone tell us the source of the Di Matteo rumour? I haven't seen any mention anywhere else, but it's well-known he would like a return to management. Can't see him wanting to come here really; we're a bit un-glamourous without Snodgrass and Howson. A lot of arduous re-building to be done. Too late for this season, I fear.

Just seen goals on local news, i had to leave the room before my blood boiled over! The players looked like they dont want to play for him, they stood and watched as the Barnsley forwards just walked through and scored. Please sort this mess out and put Grayson out of his misery before it is too late Bates. But please replace him with someone who can motivate people to perform above their ability and make sure that Snodin gets bullet too because he has no idea either.

if we have money to spend then it will be,a also have to remember that we have 2 key players out in howson and snoddy and they are the backbone of the leeds team we cant play well without at least one of them in the team

Larry has done amazing job with no money, look at the team today who was free who's on loan and only 2 players we payed money for.

Grayson is not at fault . It is Bates who has not allowed enough funds to be invested in the team. Grayson has had to operate with no money for players and he has had to recruit players who are not up to the standard required. I hope Bates does not sell our better players.How can he fill the corporate places with a poor product? I am coming up to 50 years as a Leeds supporter and I want to be following Leeds in the Premier so they have two years to do it.
Promotion is still a possibility if we get some good players in.

To the above post give larry til jan we are Leeds we should have gd players in reserve who can cover and do a job for the team. At the mo players look out of ideas and lack motivation and the players coming in look the same and short on confidence none coming in look capable of winning a place in the starting 11. All us fans know what the problems have been for a while yet the club havnt addressed the problems. I fear Larry has lost the dressing room and if this is the case he has to go

I think you are all forgetting that we started the season with a very poor defence. No investment in that area has caused this issue. Unless we have an overhaul of our defence we can forget the playoffs because that is the best we can expect to achieve this season. Also Di Mattaeo is at Chelski and they are not setting the world alight at present. Also do we want another old boy connection look what the outcome was like when Dennis Wise was in charge.

It has to be said that Grayson is passionate about Leeds. It's a shame if he has to go because a number of gutless individuals obviously are not. Maybe a serious cull of those not pulling their weight and and some serious recruitment of proper talent (now's the time, Ken!) would enable SG to turn it around. I'd love to know the identities of the "one or two who may not play for this club again" (SG on Sky page); anyone have any idea?

If i am honest i have never been confident in larry myself,i hope he goes this next few days but my worry is who we will get in and if bates will invest any money which to be honest i feel is a non starter! its no good getting a new manager and expecting him to work with two bob! i mean most free signings are free for a reason!! lets face it! MOT for life!

Pugh to join for a fee of upto 500k. Keogh to return to wolves. Expect 2/3 loan deals to be done, andros townsend, keith andrews and keogh again at the end of jan when no-one buys him. Bates will say the wages cost a bomb and this is them spending up. you know it's true.

Forget promotion for next 5 years because Bates living in seventies with his take on wages fees etc. Only just discarded his Deidre Barlow specs coz he couldnt get spare parts anymore. Lets face it unless you are prepared to speculate you wont accumalate !
