It's on line I've seen it he looks ok on u tube as well

Agree0 Disagree1

Hes a good lil player far better than what we have at min that's 4 sure

Agree0 Disagree0

Robbie savage looks good on youtube so that means nothing, 2 goals in his career so far though means he should fit right in.
Depressing
Snoopy MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

Hes actually a left back not midfield so 2 goals is ok from a left back better than warnock.

This rumour of leeds fans blocking cellini in Elland Road are true. Pic up on news now

Believable30 Unbelievable2

What news is it in?

Agree0 Disagree0

He already said. Its in newsnow. Leeds united newsnow.

Shame on them fans. true fans support in good and bad and this is not bad in anyway.

Leeds fans have Cellino cornered in a taxi at Elland Rd, Festa too. Police in attendance

Believable21 Unbelievable3

Would be so funny if true

Agree1 Disagree2

Pitch invasion planned apparently

Agree1 Disagree2

Photos on twitter

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop talking out of your arse.
Why would they be at Elland Road?
They only go there on match days you plank, the office and deals are done at Thorpe Arch, get back to your Smirnoff Ice

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed013's Note - They are at Elland Road}

What the **** is going on? Looks like GFH have sold us to the mafia and they are clearing out the opposition. Surely the FL have to step in? New owners already proven they or not fit or proper. This situation is bringing the game into a very dark place. Existing sponsors also walked away from the club. Total disgrace.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's to say this guy isn't going to take us back to the big time? typical toys being thrown out of pram because you didn't like what the club done! look how Southampton have done since they sacked 'nice guy' adkins! to be the best you have to be ruthless leeds til I die

Agree3 Disagree1

Good idea!

Agree1 Disagree0

To the plank who's telling people to stop talking out thier arse just have a look on the newsnow website and you'll see photos on links in that then you can come back and admit you're just a silly little boy

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Or check the Leeds sightings page on here where I have uploaded them}

I have to say I am confused why are fans protesting yes Bmc as ben sacked but I say give the new owner and manager a chance.

Always Leeds MOT

Agree2 Disagree1

I agree. Best fans in the world, do not over react in this way. By all means if it's worse protest, BUT IF?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would not really call him mafia some people make me laugh

Agree0 Disagree0

What has festa done, wouldn't be so hard to take if we were getting a proven manager

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as I liked McDermott, and was gutted that he was sacked, look at what happened to Southampton, Adkins was doing a perfectly good job, and then got sacked, fans hated it at first, but look at what Pochettino has done, not saying that will happen, just trying to look at it positively.

Agree0 Disagree0

My bad, I just noticed there's another comment, saying pretty much the same thing, mentioning Southampton.

Agree0 Disagree0

Simple fact is 15 wins in 38 games under mccdermott is terrible 4 a team like leeds so he had to go and now we give a new manager a chance, its not like he's got to live upto anything as mccdermott was terrible

Agree0 Disagree1

Pretty poor half season for mcd no one can despute that but come on! This italian does not have leeds in his heart! Just keento have a laugh with some mates then move on same as he did with CAL!

Agree1 Disagree0

The first thing The new owner should do (providing the Italian has bought the club) is get a new PR team! Whoever told him that acting this way would get the fans on his side no matter how much money he intends to put in needs shooting. Festa has next to no experience as a coach or manager and to be fair if he is on the coaching staff today he will be like a lamb to slaughter. MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

Why do people always say "give the new owner and new manager a chance" how has that worked out this year with new owner and manager? This will not turn out as Southampton. Their owner ( not Italian) was already in place for a couple of years and had plenty of funds before bringing in an italian manager.
It was meant to be a 2 yr plan with McD and it was never intended for us to go up this year as rebuilding the team (when funds were forth coming) . yes we will lose games but that is going to happen when experimenting and allowing youth players etc to play. We Leeds fans should be patient when the plan has already been stated at the beginning and not get too over excited because we have strung a few wins together.
I for one are not sorry that GFH are going / taking back seat as they never had the financial backing to support our club in first place so always was going to make it difficult for a new manager. BUT please don't let this particular Italian take control . have Calgari flourished under him? where are they in league?

Ross just tweeted "see you tomorrow" - MOT

Believable14 Unbelievable1

He is single handedly keeping this club from completely falling apart. Absolute legend!

Agree5 Disagree1

31 Jan 2014 22:38:08
Mc cormack confirmed he is staying and wants the fans 100% behind the club tomorrow.

Believable16 Unbelievable1

Talk about damage limitation after putting himself up for sale on SS1 a couple of hours ago! **** in fraud!

Agree1 Disagree3

Read his tweet too, think he will defo move on in the summer and who could blame him, our great club has become a laughin stock, let's back the team and boo the owners, marchin on together (massive respect to ross)

Agree1 Disagree1

At last some good news whatever our preconceptions on Cellini who can remember the last time Leeds turned down 4m for a player

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah agree with respect to Ross. Nice to see he's still with the fans and leeds as a club, (not the owners) considering what's happened. Rare to see that attitude from a player today

Agree1 Disagree0

Brilliant! love you for this Ross. now a hatrick tomorrow will do nicely. perhaps a teeshirt under the lufc shirt tributing Bmc would be a nice touch for when you score. he's done noting wrong, simply made the best of a bad lot imo.

danielle cacia about to sign apparently

Believable2 Unbelievable13

In normal circumstances that would be a decent signing, he looks a good player with a decent pedigree just can't seem to muster any excitement though about it

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2014 22:12:43
we have also sacked acting chief executive paul hunt, just wot is happening, have the mafia moved in already

Believable15 Unbelievable2

Messers haigh and hunt will both find themselves waking up to a horses head in the morning.!

Agree0 Disagree0

Clue is in the title. "Acting" chief exec. we have new ones now.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope Neil Redfearn keeps his job, he has been there for years, there should be someone who knows the players well

Agree2 Disagree0

We have a great academy if they get rid of Redders, Naylor and the rest of the hard working staff then say goodbye to any future.

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Jan 2014 22:06:27
Luke varney has had his transfer blocked by the new owner. Festa looks set to be new manager who is currently coaching in Italy's 3rd tier! Brilliant!

Believable12 Unbelievable4

Serves Varney right for refusing to pull on the shirt. Let him rot

Agree1 Disagree1

Festa not coaching anywhere. He got sacked months ago from the 3rd division club. Think Festa only short term

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Jan 2014 21:57:24
DAVID HAIGH apparently resigned now.

Should think so too.

Believable17 Unbelievable3

Well at least he had the decency to do so.

Di Canio to be next manager of LUFC.

Believable5 Unbelievable20

{Ed013's Note - Please don't start this, things are bad enough as it is! As far as I know, Festa is taking Brians job as head coach}

Festa be best as a No2 surely? - i'd risk the passion of De Cannio or or take Zola anyday

Agree1 Disagree1

In the words of 2 unlimited
no no no no no no no

Agree2 Disagree0

Don't rub it in. Ed has said all that needs to be said. Chapel A

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed - let's get real, I hope McCormack leaves tonight, he deserves a decent club. All sponsors are pulling out; season ticket holders should tear up their tickets. let's show these Italians and GFH that Leeds Supporters have guts and principals. When the FA rejects Cellino and hopefully some other credible bidder arrives then we can get behind them. Until then **** them all, especially Haig.

Agree2 Disagree1

Gutted! What a night. Talk about an implosion over the last few days to our club. GFH and HAIGH are also quiet tonight. Complete bu######t for the last 12 months. Bates must be laughing his socks off. What does the next 12 months bring? I dread to think

Agree2 Disagree0

Haigh has acted in an appalling manner. A man of complete dishonour. Fans must must show their feelings tomorrow: "Haigh Out." I warned those who would listen before they even took over that GFH were not right for Leeds. Sadly, people's hatred for Bates blinded them to GFH's obvious shortcomings. Chapel A

Agree2 Disagree1

I'd rather have bates back than these Italians in

Agree0 Disagree2

He maybe in 2 month when festa has been sacked too

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Jan 2014 21:40:30
Cillino has blocked McCormack transfer, but our club is in crisis, relegation looks a real possibility, who would want to be in festas shoes tomorrow.Leeds fans to let off steam tomorrow, could boil over keeping in mind opposition

Believable10 Unbelievable8

Where has it been announced that Cellino has taken over the club? This is just pure speculation at the moment. GFH are still in charge and they are the ones who have sacked McDermott. I agree though we could be relegated if we are not careful especially if Rossco goes.

Agree0 Disagree2

Not a chance of relegation. shame on you 4 calling yourself a fan

sponsors of the acadamy - flamingo land have now pulled out, well done Haigh

Believable8 Unbelievable7

Stop blaming Haigh, it's the investors in SC that didn't have the money.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Haigh didn't tell the rest of the consortium that the Club were paying Ken Bates 4 million over 4 years, that was the reason for the reduced offer}

Haigh is like all the other posh boys talk rubbish and fleece the working class. Bankers or?

Agree2 Disagree0

Pulled out. Why? They have a contract

Agree1 Disagree1

People should relax a bit. The Haigh consortium fell apart when it emerged that some of the consortium didn' have enough money. What would the point of these people taking over for 'status' reasons and then being unable to bring our great club forward? Cellino quite possibly may not pass the football league's 'fit and proper' person 'test'. This will leave (I.M.O) the best 'consortium' available to us, the Farnan group with a clear run to bring us forward.

Agree1 Disagree1

Too little too late, the italians have done the deal. take you're head out of the sand, the clubs in crisis

Even though it is inevitable in the circumstances, this is not the time to discuss replacements. We can at least show some respect even if our Gutless owners haven't

Agree2 Disagree1

Sick of saying it.

Someone on here tonight moaning that BMD best manager in last 3 years!

Hello? We will have been out of PmL for 10 years at the end of this season.

How many managers since?

The best football we all saw was just before this. and that was with the manager the club should have stuck with. not sack because we we had a below expected finish in the top flight!

At the moment 'the only way is down' not the other version we once all sang so proudly.

Get a manager who has passion for the club! A manager who has unfinished business. A 5 year plan to complete. Start at the back and get some PMA back on that pitch! because I am ashamed of the last 10 years.

O'Leary, O'Leary, O'Leary, O'Leary!

Ask yourself who would Revie have backed
Celino?/ Festa?
Our great club is not only a laughing stock but a disgrace
A decent man committed to building the long term future of Leeds supported by the players is sacked by the mafia

It will will be another 10 years in the wilderness if Celino isn't forced out Do we want to be another Watford - no thanks

These people understand only one thing - money and they want ours - that's what they think they have bought - the fan base because they don't give a monkeys for the team
Voting with our feet is the only thing they will understand. 50 years a fan - time to walk away for a while until another decent bloke gets a chance

6 clubs have contacted Leeds since BMD sacked for Ross

Believable7 Unbelievable7

Listened to RM prostitute himself on sky. bye!

Agree1 Disagree3

**** him if he has more loyalty to a manager than he has to his employer then let him go!

Agree0 Disagree4

Ross stuck with us because of BMcD, now what reason has he to stay? It was a building programe in progress that has now been destroyed!

Cant blame Ross. I've supported Leeds since 1969 and for the first time ever I don't even like my club.

Agree1 Disagree0

If I was in shoes I would be off like a flash. As a leeds fan I wouldn't want to be around for the inevitable crash and return to league 1. Thanks for the memory but bye bye Ross.

Something to be happy about NOT

Cagliari players Andrea Tabanelli and Danilo Avelar will be sent out on loan to Leeds United, it has been announced.

While Cagliari owner Massimo Cellino continues to try and complete a deal to take over Leeds United, two young players have made the move from Sardinia to Elland Road.

Andrea Tabanelli and Danilo Avelar will play for Leeds for the rest of the current campaign and their long-term future will be discussed in the summer.

Tuttomercatoweb announced the conclusion of the deal between Cagliari and Leeds this evening.

At the age of 24, midfielder Avelar has already played for seven clubs having left his native Brazil for Ukrainian side Karpaty Lviv in 2010.

Avelar made 20 appearances while on loan to Cagliari in the 2012-13 campaign but has made just seven this term and isn't a first-team regular.

SEE ALSO: Cagliari to loan Italian playmaker to Leeds United - report

Tabanelli will turn 24 on Sunday but Cagliari still feel the attacking midfielder has to learn before he can command a regular place in the Serie A side's starting 11.

It remains to be seen whether the two men's arrival is a sign that Cellino is soon to be unveiled as the new owner of Leeds.

Do Leeds' Italian signings indicate Cellino takeover?

If you go Ross, I think the sane ones among us would understand and support you. Thanks for all you've done and good luck in the Premiership.

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Too true. I wouldn't blame him one bit. The most loyal player we had in a long time. I wouldn't want to play for leeds now.

Agree2 Disagree0

If I were Ross I'd go anywhere now, GFH are total persons to do things this way.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes i'd support him leaving. get him out now and buy players that want to be here

Agree0 Disagree0

What kind of players would 'want to be here' right now. Two sponsors gone, threats of legal challenges, no manager, no news on OS. Great place to be right now. Loyalty is one thing, blind loyalty is just stupid.

Absolute discrace. Been a fan for 46 years but season ticket just dispatched to bin. Will not at foot in Elland rd until we get an owner that loves the club as much as I do. I am afraid it looks as though we can expect a chaotic and painful decline ending in a Portsmouth like scenario. Can't believe the FL have approved sale of our great club to an Italian with a long history of fraud and embezelment.

Appalled. Appalled by Haigh. I urge all fans to join in "Haigh Out" chants tomorrow. "We hate GFH, say we hate GFH." Even Bates never behaved this badly. Chapel A

MOT

Agree2 Disagree0

Of course he can be approved. He just sets up a company and makes anybody the director or his son could be the frontman

Mccdermott to be sacked as soon as the takeover goes through, which could be as soon as sunday. So 'udders game could be his last. On the signing front, no one coming in on a permenant deal but Cellino will be looking to bring some players in the loan market. Not good times to be a white as when mccdermott goes Cellino will bring in gianlucca festa, a third division manager in italy who is 'close' friends with Cellino. In summer, McCormack will go and along side any other players of any worth as Cellino will turn us back into a selling club and a business. MOT

Believable10 Unbelievable10

We are a selling club already, how can he turn us back into one.Gradel, Schmeichel, Johnson, Snodgrass, Beckford, Becchio, Howson, Rose and Delph all sold in recent years

Agree0 Disagree1

Why would be a selling club? Think about the assets we have, worth about £8m and half of that is Rossco.
If he is paying £25m for the club then he is going to be a tad out of pocket as it will be worth nowt if we end up in the third division
Anyone who is buying the club must be looking to try and build a team to get promoted, so if then they sell they get a profit
If this chap buys it and prepared to invest then I am happy. GFH weren't interested in investing so can only get better.

Thoroughly, thoroughly, thoroughly angry and totally pi**ed off ( putting it politely ) .

Agree2 Disagree0

It's a joke. We are a joke of a club nowadays. I go to games not expecting much. I don't expect us to be spending millions but at least be competitive we have one of the highest turnovers in the championship. And we don't spend a penny. Seems a long time ago being at Elland Road to watch us play valencia in the champs. The buzz at Elland Road when we won promotion from league 1 Was good. I suppose with this Italian we could be back there

Agree1 Disagree0

It makes me laugh to hear everyone passing judgement on "the Italian". 90% of you on here have never heard of him, and most his supposed ddgy dealing were an effort to improve his club . Wish everyone would just stop spreading all these negative waves, an just see what happens

Yeah, right. At which team?

The Times is reporting they have seen a document detailing £4m of "obligations" due to be paid by LUFC to a "former owner" over next 4 yrs. Was this the problem that made Sport Capital drop their bid?

People just can't get over bates its getting boring now
If there was money owed to him it would have all been sorted at takeover time why would they spend al that money and the club only to have to spend more on payments
If we know anything about bates 4mil would get you a decent shareholding I the club. he would have just hung onto the shares.

But David Haigh is/was part of the GFH team so surely any documents in place as part of the takeover won't be a surprise to him/Sports Capital

Hearing that QPR's Harry Redknapp after Ross McCormack after there top goal scorer Charlie Austin ruled out for most of the season. QPR believe they can get Ross McCormack for around £4m-£4.5m with further add ons if QPR are promoted to Premier League. Hope it's not true though as we'd struggle to sign a suitable player at this stage as well as a new Captain which'd be our 3rd of season after Rudy Austin & Ross McCormack.

Harry has said they are looking to loan a striker and not spend. I believe this because they have already spent a bit this season and if they don't go up the fair play rules will cause them big troubles
