Phil Hay posted the James deal is off. I think Swansea may have been waiting to get Bony and Fer off their books to keep him.
Some interesting signings from teams around us notably Mikel to Boro and King to Derby.

I must say I thought we needed 2 extra players before Saiz and Baker left but hey ho we don't know what's going on inside all these clubs.
All we can do now is believe in what we have got to take us back where we belong. In MB we trust. He has taken us top for 2/ 3 of the season only 1/ 3 to go.
Come on Leeds. We can do it. Wins against Norwich and Boro and nobody will be even thinking about this transfer window.

Brilliantly summed up Phil, spilt milk. Personally feel very sorry for young James, but pretty sure he will still enjoy a fantastic career and let’s hope it’s with us in the premiership.

Methinks Swansea were playing games. I don't believe they were negotiating in good faith. They may have mucked us about but their reputation in the transfer market has taken a beating. This will come back to bite them in the bum. Goodness knows what this mess will have done to James' head.

I don't think the reputation of Swansea will change after today as no one else really cares other than us and swansea. They obviously had a target to get in from transfers and once that was met they could hang on to their best assets hence Fer and James staying. I hope James does what Taylor did with us. stops playing, faking injury etc. There is nothing worse than making a player play when he doesn't want to play for you. Hopefully James steps into that category. They might rue the day. Never the less we will go Marching on. WE ARE LEEDS.

Spot on Kiwi Leeds. I didn’t understand their reasoning in letting him go to a rival during the season. Maybe at the end of season depending on who finishes where. I think they just wanted to distract us from concentrating on promotion.

Fingers crossed that our squad holds out and we go up. Big gamble not strengthening the squad, but if we do go up, then Bielsa is truly a genius.

Not unhappy with that. I liked him, the few times I have seen him, but I always liked Beradi's bloody mindedness just that little bit more.

However, now we have Douglas, and Alioski putting his hand up for a left back spot too, I can only see him as being 4th choice

This time last year i was keeping my fingers crossed that this talented youngster would stay with us. Now, I just want him to get games under his belt so he can be an assets for Leeds' first team.
