So the decision is coming at 6pm tomorrow.
About time too.

Let's get behind Brian, those calling for his sacking need to think who the hell would want the job if he went!

If they know the result why wait till Friday night

Agree0 Disagree1

I find it difficult to support BMD given the performance of the team in the last three months. He cannot continually blame the off the field rubbish. The majority of his signings are poor and lack motivation and pride in the club, add to that the inept tactics and there's not much of a case for supporting him. As for who would want the job. You're probably right there until the Take over is sorted but I'm sure the Neil Redfern would do a better job than BMD is doing

Agree8 Disagree2

1st reply - serious? Many many managers given the fact if the takeover goes through it will at least appear like we have stability at last and people would jump at the chance to be the one to get leeds back to the prem. cellino probably has one or two ideas lined up anyway. I really can not understand how you can back McDermott after the on field shambles, revelation on wages paid to him and players, constant excuses and inept tactics.

Agree6 Disagree1

Support a man with 3 wins in 20 matches. That is a very big ask, even allowing for the backroom problems. He is still responsible for, some very poor transfers and very questionable tactics. I believe that a new broom will sweep clean. Whoever takes over will want their own man in charge and wouldn't entrust McDermott with any transfer funds

Agree11 Disagree1

Whatever the verdict, at least we will have all the reasons set out for us to see, Mr Kerr, the QC, is a sports arbitrator of some renown apparently:)
I hope he's like the "Man from Del Monte"

he say YES!!!!

Although it is not easy for me sat back in Oz watching the goings on and hoping like hell there is a positive outcome round the corner I feel for all you die hard LUFC fans. Spending your hard earned every week to watch what is being dished up would be even harder. Whatever happens everyone needs to pull together and see this through! Whilst Brian is in charge (whatever you think of him) making abusive calls to him is not going to help with the current situation. Far from happy with our season but my best mate is a Boro fan and appears happy with a mediocre year to gain some stability. We took 4 out of 6 points off them but no talk of sacking their manager and they have hardly set the world on fire since he took over. Until everyone is United we will continue to struggle and create extra pressure on the team.

Agree2 Disagree0

We don't need to wait till Friday Survivor? You told us in your last post it's Massino/farnan consortium NO??

Agree0 Disagree1

SURVIVORS
Following phil on twitter lol

Agree1 Disagree0

There is no practical reason why the verdict should be delayed for an announcement at 6pm on a Friday other than the QC squeezing every last penny of his chargeable fees out of whoever foots the bill for this charade.

Agree1 Disagree0

I did support BM especially over the 'sacking' however when the chips are down he's come up with nothing. No motivation, no brave decisions, no tactics and some truly dreadful signings-I though warnocks signings were bad but Kebe Stewart hunt are a disgrace with Murphy being patchy and not worth a quarter what we paid. Smith has been ok and as for Zalukas, what happened there? Fantastic then a woeful performance and he's out. Lees and pelts been poor every game virtually.
No it's been difficult for Brian but surely it's time to go once TO goes through

Agree0 Disagree0

If the Football League are paying the costs for Cellino's appeal will they be making a claim for League-al Aid funding?

Agree0 Disagree0

NO DECISION TODAY APPARENTLY.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely a delayed verdict is in favour of MC and the consortium, if they know the outcome in advance they can flesh out details of their joint bid and hopefully provide some good news alongside the inevitable failure of MC's lone bid.

Agree0 Disagree0

As per YEP, decision now delayed. Don't know what to make of this - good news or bad news?

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally wrong I follow no one on Twitter or anything else but I do know Phil and he texted me yesterday giving me the 6pm thing which I readily admit
.
However I only just got my new phone working so haven't spoken to anyone today but I know for sure the delay is a very good thing for Leeds Utd.
It's all about Cellino Et Al.

So now we know it's going to be Massomo, Farnan, Parkin with Pearson actually the front man.

Dont know ehat you mean by frontman but I understand Gary verity will be chairman if tl are involved!

Agree1 Disagree0

By the time all the players involved in our super-consortium have been through the FL's "it's Leeds United so leave absolutely no stone unturned" version of the Fit & Proper Person Test, Elland Road Stadium will be a Tesco's supermarket! Cellino needs the green light so he can take sole control NOW!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good, I like the sound of that group of people and think it should benefit Leeds Utd.

Thanks for the info Jeff.

Agree0 Disagree0

Verity is part of the Farnan group

Massimo Cellino has been informed today he has failed in his appeal. It will become official tomorrow.

Believable20 Unbelievable56

Massimo Cellino has been informed today that he has won his appeal. Will become official tomorrow … you've got a 50/50 chance of been right!

Agree5 Disagree0

If he had been informed there is no way it would be kept quiet, Cellino is the man hopefully to sort out LUFC.

Agree5 Disagree0

Well hopefully he's going to be taking over in one form or another regardless of appeal outcome

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeah yeah and Jen bates told u this did he, wish people stop spreading rubbish were in enough of it as we are, just wait till it comes out either way cellino is in what ever the out come

Agree0 Disagree0

Verdict due tomorrow 6pm, (phil hay)!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would they wait 24 hours to announce it if they told Cellino today?, that doesn't make sense. fact is we're all guessing

I'm not sure which way it will go personally but at least if its a yes and he wins the appeal Cellino is likely to 'shake things up' pretty quickly. which is what we need, the defeatist culture in the club is killing us

Agree1 Disagree0

How can the league justify rejecting a takeover then letting a club go in to administration?

Agree2 Disagree0

Yes and first things first, mcdermott out, 48 games played only 18 wins, appalling record.how can anyone still be in a job with a record like that and defeat after defeat? all he keeps bleating on about is we are in it together, and dwelling on his one season wonder at reading, in which they came straight back down. no mcdermott you brought most of these nobody's in so stand up and be counted, it's your fault, so stop trying to pass the buck, you have made us a laughing stock, because you cannot manage. stewart ( worst player ever signed )kebe, hunt, murphy, wootton, zalukias, enough said.

Agree9 Disagree0

In my workplace - they always deliver bad news on a Friday afternoon so people can calm down and do nothing about it until Monday. Cellino you are our only hope!

Agree1 Disagree1

If MC was told today do you honestly think he'll be able to keep his mouth shut?

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Apr 2014 20:34:29
well you have a 50% chance of being right people like you make me laugh always think they are in the know. You are just guessing

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with above post STEWART worst player ever signed, he is out of his depth and he knows that, you can tell by the look on his face he is embarrasssed, would struggle to get passed cones in training, would struggle with most pub teams, Harsh but True.
