Very funny, three times he's been signed now!

Hope this is true especially on a freebie. And ed we doing the sun league just for fun or is there a way we can put say a couple of quid each into an account or something and have some prizes or us that to much likd hard work to sort, just an idea to keep it interesting, we do that st work and it's good {Ed013's Note - Fun mate}

You Watt? You Watt? You Watt, you Watt, you Watt? No chance!

Why I ask, never delivered then went on loan to Crawley and did nothing there. Will end up in Non League like thousands of others that are currently in so called top club football academy sides. When they get to 17 the likes of Arsene Whinger go out and buy the ready made article, so why do they bother with Academies ?

Does he still fall over for no reason? If yes, no thanks.

I was at the club shop the other day & fancied a burger so went over to McD's the litter picker there was telling me that the bus driver who brought him to work told him that his cousin is a taxi driver who took NW to ER the other day (Neil's car was being serviced) and it looks like we might be getting Rooney & Messi before the Wolves game!!
The only true thing here is I did get a burger but even that was from Burger King when I went to PC World.

Rachubka, Kisnorbo, Bromby, Nunez, Paynter, Somma, all seems all moving on to other clubs
Believable16
Unbelievable36
Kisnorbo and somma will be given a chance to prove fitness as they are both injured, as will bromby. Just cos they don't have a squad number yet doesn't mean they are moving on bud. Personally think somma and bromby will be kept on, can't see it for paddy unfortunately, if that's the case definatly has best of wishes from me for the future, was great in his prime and a good chap!

What the deuce is Lees being given no.4?? Should be 6. The tough tackling defensive midfielder usually gets 4.
Believable16
Unbelievable22
I thought that as well, strange. So it follows that the number 6 ( usually the centre back) will be an attacking midfield player. Also like the use of 'what the deuce!'.
Agree0
Disagree0
What does it matter. Main striker gets 9. Ross loves 44 which is usually a player who never gets a look in or a kid who's getting a run out. It doesn't matter than much. Maybe leesy wanted
Cmrd
Agree3
Disagree1
Lees got 4 because it's Billy's number, as a Leeds fan you should know any player who loves the club wants the no. 4
Agree2
Disagree0
Does it really matter what number they get? number 9 is supposed to be the goal scorer and was that not paynters number the past 2 years!!
Agree2
Disagree0
Why are some players not on the list at all such as somma, bromby?
Agree0
Disagree0
You mean lees the centre back, who has never played in midfield before?
Agree0
Disagree0
Bruce wasnt a defensive mid
Agree1
Disagree0
Ross is 44, so does that mean he thinks he is twice the player Billy was? Or is he just fatter
EXCroggywhite, mot
still wanna keep him tho :)
Agree0
Disagree0
Its just a number
Agree1
Disagree1
Injured players not been registered as unsure weather they will feature this season . maybe only able to register 25 this season or something might be giving younger players a chance and need some squad numbers for them
Agree0

He rejected a lot of other clubs and has stayed with Leeds, Leeds is the only clue he has ever played for!
Agree1
Disagree0
Looks like connolly is staying aswell, thought he was transfer listed?
Agree0
Disagree0
Its a number for god sake
Agree0
Disagree0
Manager's choice ... things needed a shake-up and he's done that so why not change all the suspicion surrounding numbers ... move on!
JDC
Agree0
Disagree0
I don't understand this.. since when has he been a defensive midfielder? He's a centre back.
Agree0
Disagree0
It may just be a number but as posters have stated it is Billy's number and has a significance. If the lad is Leeds through and through, which I believe he is let him have the honour. When I played amateur football, I insisted on the no. 4 shirt and it gave me an extra edge and incentive to play well on account of our late friend.

Bolton loaning all these young prem players why do we never seem to be in for these up and coming players.?
Sunny mot
Believable13
Unbelievable13
It could be because their wages may be too high, or simply because NW doesn't want loanee's, who have no real commitment for the club. it's clear that he wants players who will wear the badge with pride and his heart on his sleeve.

What like Sanchez Watt, Andros Townsend, Fabian Delph, Adam Smith, Barry Bannon, Eric Lichaj, Sam Vokes, Hogan Ephraim etc., etc......
Agree2

Hmm. Last season: Adam Smith & Townsend (Spurs) Delph (Villa). 3 that spring to mind (sure there was more...), and all 3 contributed na da, zilch. Season before: Livermore, Bannan, Lichaj. All good PL prospects. Contribution ?

Didnt see much of him to be honest mate though everyone rated him, must be good to have been picked up by Barca as a 16 year old. Man United (or 'scum' as we prefer to refer them as) were in for him at one point too, so could well be what you need to help get your club back up to where they belong. MOT

Beckford for his goals.
CMS for work rate.
Agree0

With ten goals last season and becks getting 15 with less appearances you'd have to choose becks, but CMS'S assists make it little difference
Agree0
Disagree0
Beckford has been a flop since leaving leeds. league 1 player. time to move on from beckford. craig mackail smith would be better in what warnock has purchased
Agree1

Machail smith any day. Beckford behaved like a spoilt little girl afew times when getting subbed the last time ! Thinks hes better than he actually is, rather have Ricketts back

Agree0

None of the injured lads have numbers yet. funny how connolly has a shirt number assigned but the others on the transfer list do not.
Agree0
Disagree0
Somma was almost back a month ago but had a set back with his injury so probably not back for a few month if not christmas time as it will take time to get fully fit and i don't think warnock will risk him
Agree0
Disagree0
Injured or not somma like the others, still should have squad numbers, doen't look good for those left out, would be gutted if somma left, plenty of teams would snap him up.
Agree0
Disagree0
If Somma comes back as good as he was then we can discard talk of Beckford, CMS etc. I also feel Kisnorbo still has a lot to offer and Bromby will be a good squad player. Incidentally, it is good to see LUFC standing by the lad after his horrible injury.

I meant to say prem 2013/14 :), think it might be a good point about just leaving McCormack to concentrate on scoring, Thompson is a CM, McCormack doesn't like going on the wing and Pugh contributes absolutely nothing to the team and is an absolute waste of wages. So that is Rogers, White and Varney so I would say with White being new to the position, Rogers with barely any experience in the League and Varney being more of a central player, we definitely need another top quality winger.

Leicester City defender Lee Peltier is undergoing a medical at Leeds United.
Leeds have been chasing Peltier all summer and they have now agreed a fee with Leicester for the former Liverpool youngster.
Peltier joined Leicester from Huddersfield Town last summer, but it is understood he no longer features in manager Nigel Pearson's plans.
Whites boss Neil Warnock has confirmed his interest in Peltier as he looks to bolster his defensive options ahead of the new season.
Huddersfield have also been linked with a move to re-sign Peltier, but it appears Leeds are in pole position to land the 25-year-old.
Peltier is set to hold talks with Leeds and Warnock will be hoping to tie up the deal as he continues his rebuilding plans at Elland Road.

He never had a great season because the way brighton play dont suite him thats why poyet would sell him.He needs the money to buy a striker who fits in more with his style so i could see us getting him for about 1.5m and maybe some bonusses what could basicly give them there money back when we promote.
