It's ironic how one of our best performances of the season ends in defeat! Don't think we'll go up this season but if we carry on playing like this we won't be disappointed?!

Thought Clayton and Snoddy looked good in the middle at the end, maybe an unlikely pairing for the future?

We was just unlucky playing against a team that was running on luck this evening .we looked like the team that was sitting top of the league . Webber looked good today i hope hes got more to come {Ed020's Note - very impressed with webber too!! fingers crossed he carrys on}

Agree0 Disagree0

To me this means that there's no reason why our current squad can't win promotion next season. They completely thrashed a top 2 side in everything execpt goal count. We just need them to practice being composed and clinical in front of goal and there's no reason why we can't walk the league next year.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as we get more honest performances like that we'd all accept not going up. Everyone played for the shirt tonight which is all we ask as Leeds fans!

Next year will b our season!!!

Looking forward to the run in ? its already over for this season. Be nice however to see us beat West Ham and show so fight to build on for next season

the old leeds fighting spirit there goalkeeper and the ref stopped us getting 3 or 4 today battle like that every week and we will reach playoffs webber looked good but i think we could still do with a ch bad marking for goal

Believable28 Unbelievable1

Where were you? We should have had 7 or 8!!

Good performance, proud to be Leeds...

Anyone want to contribute to the blind society in aid of the referee, less than 10 yards from a deliberate handball in the penalty area... {Ed020's Note - shite referee, thats all i have to ccontribute}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree we should have scored 3 or 4 at least and on any other day we would. Really pleased with Warnock he demands 100 percent from everyone and wont accept anything less. Webber looks really good and when he is match fit he will start each game. Give Warnock and the players a pre season then we will fly next year!

Agree0 Disagree0

Davis reminded me of Jim Montgomery in the Sunderland Cup Final. Last night he could have dived the wrong way the ball would have hit him on the back of his head!

how in the name of god didnt we win today soton are crap and leeds demolished them on the pitch today great effort you could see the extra effort that NW got from his players and that keeper for soton what can i say played outstanding still think we should of buried em good debut for webber too good times ahead i think MOT irish leeds fan!

Believable26 Unbelievable0

Webber showed why Warnock has faith in him, nice to see Sam get a chance again.... {Ed020's Note - lets hope he's got more to show us,definatly suprised me today did webber}

Danny Webber looked alright when he came on, especially considering the time he's been out of the game. proves we should be taking more punts on proven players.

Believable33 Unbelievable1

Just shows that Grayson seems to have lost it, even Sam looked good, shame Nunez didn't get on too...

I'm the wrong end of the country to get to ER as often as I would like - can't afford to drive the 500 mile round trip any more - but watched the game today on TV and although we lost I thought there were a huge number of positives and the chances of come up against goalkeeping like that regularly in this league are slim. Keep along like that and I think we could get to the playoffs. More passion than some performances I've seen this season and Webber looked like he'll do well for us when he gets fully fit

Ive never seen a more heroic performance from a goalkeeper in my life well done Kelvin Davis enjoy your bubbly

On the plus I thought Aidy White and Michael Brown were outstanding this evening - playing like that for the rest of the season will be a good finish for a top six...!

Webber take a bow son think your performance was great for a debut

MOT Woody

Believable18 Unbelievable3

Aidy White has nothing but a bit of pace, we were a lot better after he went off and Sam and Webber came on

Agree0 Disagree0

White struggled in my opinion, bbetter will come from the lad

Agree0 Disagree0

Brown too old and too slow. White is a headless chicken that can't tackle, head or get in a decent cross. Sam can actually go past people and deliver a great cross. He just needs his confidence back. I'd play Clayton deeper and start with Webber and Sam atm.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not so sure about having White at RW. He's got the pace, but I don't think his right foot is strong enough, and he isn't the kind of player to cut inside and cross with his left.

I think he's better off at LW and outpacing his opponent before crossing from the outside.

Agree0 Disagree0

Best leeds performance ive seen in ages,,,
but i think Aidy White is no were near good enough he was our worst payer by far {Ed013's Note - He was out of position}

Agree0 Disagree0

That was Michael Brown's best performance by far and to me he bossed the midfield, allowing Clayton more creativity, and that is exactly what he was brought in for. White was out of position and unfortunately it showed. I also think we looked better with Connolly at right back when he came on, although a few of his crosses went astray going forward- hopefully this is a sign of things to come!

Unlucky lads you didn't deserve to lose.
By the same token their keeper deserved to keep his sheets clean. He was outstanding.
Encouraging by us and you could tell by their reaction at the end of the match, they knew they had got out of jail.

Cannot fault the commitment of all players tonight, chased every ball. Shame about the result but I think this has been a very different home defeat to all the others this season.

Believable16 Unbelievable0

Leeds Fans you are the best; chanting the team right until the end, makes me proud to be a Leeds fan, superb support. Shame about the result but so many positives about the game, Webber looking pretty sharp so a good purchase then by Warnock, feeling v positive, GREAT post match interview Mr Warnock - priceless !

More injuries white and bromby

Believable4 Unbelievable1

We aren't missing much with Bromby. I wouldn't mind never seeing him on the pitch at Elland Road again. He's a nice enough guy, but he's a liability in defence. Too slow and poor at reading the game - dead wood in the squad taking up valuable wages.

injuries mounting up. and Bates was complaining the squad was too big?

Matt Mills not even on the bench for Leicester. If that's not a good enough reason to come to us then I don't know what is. Doesn't he get that he is not wanted there and that he is playing 2nd fiddle to others. If he stands any chance there then he is literally going to haoutgo show Pearson what a good defender he is by getting some game time with us. I mean it's only for a couple of months for god sake. If he can't be bothered then so be it and we are better off. MOT

Believable8 Unbelievable0

After todays performance we don'r need him. If he is happy to take his wages and not play we certainly don't want him.. {Ed020's Note - abit modest, i feel we could still do with him lol}

Agree0 Disagree0

Players can play totally differently in different environments and circumstances. Sure he didn't have a great time that day, but does that really make him not good enough?

From his time at Reading and Doncaster, you can safely saythat in a good team, he's a good player. {Ed013's Note -We definitely need a new defender and defensive midfielder so I would welcome him}

How is Robbie Rodgers? A concussion isnt usually a long term injury. Hope to see him today.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

As far as I am aware he is available for selection

Hope so as well,want to see what all the fuss is about..

Who is this guy Rodgers? I would like to think that Robbie ROGERS would get a start ahead of him.

For all Bates lovers on here, please read the accounts - Google and you will find them. If you don't know how accounts are constructed, find someone who does to explain them to you.

As someone else says here, Bates is a cancer on this club. It was Bates who put us into administration and is alleged by many respected figures within the insolvency profession to have manipulated the process. That made us a focus of a BBC documentary.

He is underspending on the team whilst massively overspending on 'Administration' - 22.5m in the 09/10 year - with significant sums of money going to offshore companies whose owners are undeclared, including the ground rental.

Some have alleged Bates is a direct beneficiary of the overseas money. Personally I'm not sure about that but the fact that it's being kept secret from us is a scandal.

I'm happy with Warnock's appointment and I'll be singing for the team today not chanting against Bates, but I still want either full transparency or for Bates to go. All Leeds fans have a right to know where their money is going and the fact that he's banning lifelong Leeds fans from the games simply for asking that question is disgusting.

Love Leeds, Hate Bates

Believable28 Unbelievable7

Some of us Leeds fans don't half twist and go on like women. It must look like to other teams that all we do is moan all the time everytime I come on this page someone is having a go at bates he is not that bad. Look at Portsmouth they didn't know they were in administration till it was all over SSN. All I'am saying is we are the 12th man of Leeds utd and need to start showing it on and of the pitch and get behind the lads. Times are good at the minute NW has arrived a brought a buzz around between fans and Leeds players look at the Leeds Website !

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe the admin team at Thorpe Arch and E.R are on 20k a week...!

Explains why Larry had such interest in the tea ladies then lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Anonymous snipers like you dont exactly make the world feel a nicer place either.

Marching on TOGETHER (which means if it includes the chavs in the North stand it includes Ken Bates too)

Agree0 Disagree0

So chavs in the north stand isnt anonymous sniping .
thats a harsh dumb comment and portrays a lot about a persons overated view of themselves.
northe stand just about full to the brim every game with fans who love their club as much as anyone else does.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe people are been anonymous because they don't want to be banned.
I know Bates is the chairman but somebody should tell him it doesn't mean he should act like Chairman Mao.
This isn't China! People should be allowed an opinion and be allowed to voice it, whether they are right or wrong.
Me personally i think he's scandalous with his actions (LUST, the BBC & anyone who dare stand up to him) but at least I sleep easy knowing we won't end up like Pompey, Rangers and all the other clubs in financial turmoil.

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't really blame Bates for putting us into administration. It wasn't him who got us the £100m+ debt that got us to that point. It was Ridsdale splashing borrowed cash that got us to that point.

Now, I'm not a big fan of Bates, but it it wasn't him it would be someone else instead, but someone had to deal with it and put us into administration, but that doesn't mean that he is the one to blame for it.

I think that out of all the things you could use to argue why Bates is a cancer at our club (which I do agree with), that is a pretty poor one to use.

Agree0 Disagree0

About time we all 'united' behind the club. Forget the mis-management of the club in the past by Risdale and others and start putting our energy into supporting the players and current management. Bates owns the club and can do whatever he likes at the end of the day and to be fair I'm glad he's not throwing cash around. Now lets move on 'together'.
