Leeds win 3-1, 3 goals for 3 defenders; Byram, Lees and White again. this Byram kid has come from no where and is making a good impression.

Believable39 Unbelievable3

Known about him for abit. there is alot of talent coming through like the 90s again. People like Poleon, kilock, taylor, Gimple, Byran, Turner twins and leinigan. If we can keep this youth system of talent, i sse us goin along way without spending much.

NW wants to sign Cranie as back up for Lees and Pearce.
Also heard he has 1 million left over from the 1.5 million ftom Snodgrass. This will be spent on Dexter Blackstock and David Templeton at 500k each.
Then to wrap up the signings NW will sign Liam Lawrence on a free.

-MS

Believable14 Unbelievable43

No chance of getting blackstock at that price he's the main striker for forest would def need to pay bout 3mill for him even tho he's in the last year of his contract

Agree1 Disagree1

Where do you get these prices from Blackstock would be at least 1.5 to 2 mil and Templeton would be at least 1 mil and out of both of them i would prefer Templeton but i'm not sure papa smurf would dig that deep into his pocket.

foxrat

Agree1 Disagree0

1 million left from the 1.5 million? we got 3 million for snodgrass which will see 2 more quality sighnings for the icing on cake 1 been big profile striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you can arrange it -MS, I'd be happy with Cranie, Blackstock and especially Templeton but not interested in Liam Lawrence ... maybe you could give your mate Shaun a call to let him know.

JDC

Agree0 Disagree0

We didn't get 3mil for Snoddy - we got 1.5mil up front and 1.5mil over the next couple of years - we cant spend what we havent got yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the last post. We wont put all cash up front either if we went for templeton or mcs. Very rare for any club so both still possibility, fingers crossed we go for both players, most certainly would be icing on the cake.

Leeds manager has identified Ipswich midfielder Jimmy Bullard as his marquee signing. Warnock believes the midfielder can captain Leeds back to premiership.

Believable10 Unbelievable72

I thought Jimmy Bullard had gone abroad. Hope he has, the most overrated footballer in the UK.

My mate knows Mick Jones (NW assistant) he says Leeds to make 6 more signings.
1. Peltier 500k
2. s***tu free
3. Cranie free
4. Boyd 500k
5. Templeton 750k
6. Fryatt 1 mill

Spending a total of 2.75 million and total spending of 4.5 million. Get off Bates's back! MOT!

Believable9 Unbelievable32

What a load of tosh

Agree1 Disagree1

Realistic transfers, but I personally think it will be either Boyd or Templeton not both.

Fair enough to Peltier, Craine, & Danny.S, but thought Fryatt would be more than 1m to buy.

(Mickey1992)

Agree1 Disagree1

"get off Bates back"?! over the course of the past 3 seasons he's sold our best players who would have been capable of propelling us to the prem at key points though the last couple of seasons(Becks, BJ,Max,Jonny,Snods,). We all owe it to this great club of ours to LOVELEEDSHATEBATES until he is out of Leeds for ever. MOT

Agree2 Disagree0

I have a question for the last poster why was howson given a chance to play for Leeds ? Wad it that he was good enough to represent Leeds in a creative midfield role in premiership or that we were in league one ?

Second why was Bradley Johnson playing for gravesend, Stevenage, Northampton town. Was it because he is premiership quality nope the goal against arsenal got him that and we all know what his shore g is like.

Was it that gradel was so good that he was or should be playing in premiership no. What we have is players that were just about good enough to get out of league one on the mast day go for a big pay day fact. What bates has done is clear the debt buy under warnock better players and made us viable again once we get in premiership the world will be our oyster

To any of you who try and say otherwise regarding players are buzzing. Cast your mind bs k to the midfield that won us the league.

Billy Paynter is set to join Doncaster. Watch him score goals for fun now!!

Believable45 Unbelievable15

He will score bagfuls, now that he is at his level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he does well where ever he goes. Shame he couldn`t do it for us ,but good luck to him. At least he put some effort in when he got the chance, unlike some last season..
"T"

Agree1 Disagree0

If he does it won't do us any harm seen as theyre in league 1. And it'll prove he's only good at that level

Agree0 Disagree0

In league one, who cares

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet he will look how well he did with swindon when they were in league 1 i honestly wish paynter the best of luck wherever he goes seemed like a right nice lad:)

Agree1 Disagree0

It is highly unlikely that any of the spending has got any thing to do with the old man, more likely a combination of money in the kitty from recent sales and unknown new owners. If you think bates had anything to do with it you must be deluded or his long lost son!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well he couldnt score for toffee here!

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who has watched Barndoor Billy play should realise he will never score more than 15 a season in League One and realise NW should do everything he can to sign Charlie Austin, if Billy scored so many goals with him as a partner imagine how many Bechio would get

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol I know what you mean, awful for Leeds, ace for someone else!

Agree0 Disagree0

"Anyone who has watched Barndoor Billy play should realise he will never score more than 15 a season in League One"

Just to reiterate what i have been saying for weks the takeover is a smoke screen to get fans off a certain persons back and to give him some breathing space, you will all be buying season tickets and merchandise to line this certain persons pocket again. Please wake up and realise you are being sold a dream in return for your hard earned cash. Due dilligence, ramadam, the next full moon an a wednesday. All the players coming in are free or have been funded buy sales of our better player

Believable38 Unbelievable34

Please stop with the 'it's not going to happen' 'it's a bates smoke screen' crap. People like you just annoy me. Are you even a Leeds supporter? If you are, please do a bit more supporting.

Agree1 Disagree0

A bitter and twisted Uddersfield fan.

JB

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree players we have brought in are mostly free and the few we have signed for small fees have been funded from the sale of our captain. A takeover smoke screen does seem a little elaborate, but who knows maybe you are right. Do you think the takeover will fall through the day after the transfer window closes?

Agree0 Disagree0

Takeover was finished on the 19th and the new owners are releasing a small amount of money to fund warnock for now. obviously your not a leeds fan, just trying to get peoples backs up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you spooky Mulder in disguise. Must admit though we do seem to have to sell a player to fetch one in. A typical Bates scenario.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be quiet. Everyone who says that the takeover is a 'smokescreen' or whatever is an person. Although KB is an absolute a***hole, he is a businessman and he's not going to risk total humiliation by pretending to be doing an imaginary deal with someone, as a method of making money of other people. If this was exposed to be true he would have no credibility with anyone in the business world, he'd be a laughing stock. Furthermore, if it were a 'smokescreen' with Warnock or the media would have some idea and either Warnock would have walked or the media would have leaked it. Neither has happened. If the takeover was off we would be told. Keep the faith and roll on next season. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would the trust be in on it there the ones who found the potential owners

Agree0 Disagree0

I am doubting a takeover..BUT I WILL go to LEEDS and support my team regardless of who is in charge. I support Leeds, through thick and thin, not the chairman .Get 2/3 more good signings and surely we are all hopefull this season!

Agree0 Disagree0

Simple then aint it , dont buy a ticket next season. There is too many people trying to bring a downer on the club and we dont need it. If you have 20 to 30 million to buy the club then do it , if you dont then you just have to go along for the ride. No matter what you think of Bates he has spent his money and stopped around the time supporters got on his back. The players coming in now are better than those last year and the squad is much stronger. Snodgrass was only a better player if he wanted to play for the club and sadly didnt. Im not a Bates lover or hater but this is where we are and if I was him why would I give the manager x million pounds for players when the supporters wont spend money on season tickets? Lets just get behind the team. MOT Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

As most sensible people have been saying constantly all summer, no-boy knows whats going on with leeds until something on the O/S says something, why would Bates want to make a smoke screen when the fans would come back harder than befor, think you just want to rile fans up

Agree0 Disagree0

If the takeover is done, whats the point in hiding it, surely it would serve us better and give the fans more confidence to spend if we new the outcome ,other clubs know behind the scenes whats going on this has nothing to do with eranfer fees.p.s lcfc have ahabbit of selling us their best players, what do you think ed ...came in a premier taxi

Agree0 Disagree0

NW has stated that he has spoken to the potential new owners, so the 'smokescreen' theory makes no sense at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a takeover and they do have money. Just give it time.

Sorry didn't finsh last post we as Muslims refrain from completing transaction involving money as we are supposed to refrain our selves from worldly matters similar to when we go on holy pilgrimage of Hajj. Those of you who clickef unbelievable in my last post obviously are a but ignorant to what our beliefs are.. Arabs especially in middle east follow religion strongly in Ramadan more than any other month of the year. Even if DD has been done they won't announce it till after Eid (20th August). He will be joinin watford

Agree0 Disagree0

You clearly no nothing about football if you think Dj campbell is average tell me is 13 goals in the prem for blackpool average thought not

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully not. Mr Warnock has stated that he is now in the market for 'top-drawer' signings after having made some good, solid, yet journeymen signings. We need one or two 'shock' signings a la Strachan and Fairclough under Sgt. Wilko.

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the way you pick the one good season he had at Blackpool! What about the time he was at Birmingham, QPR and Leicester. That was less than average. Not good enough for Leeds

The reason takeover not been done is because of Ramadan, when that's over it will be announced, but got a feeling they are bankrolling these transfers.

Believable16 Unbelievable45

When does it finish because this would make a lot of sense as in the Arabia business news they said it could be two weeks, and that was roughly two weeks ago!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramadan finished Wednesday, Thursday was Eid, then the Muslim weekend is Friday, of your right - which I think is more of a hunch than fact- Monday will be the day! I am sceptical now though over the whole thing. Thinking things may be heading south, or the investors are more cautious and risk adverse than supporters would like, that's not a bad thing mind you!

Agree0 Disagree2

Bankrolling what bates is 10mil inn credit

Agree1 Disagree0

Bankrolling?..

We sold Snodgrass, Lonergan and Clayton which has brought in more than has gone out. No one is bankrolling this club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramadan is due due to finish on or around the 19th August (Depends on the sighting of the moon) then we have 3 days holiday for Eid. So if what the muslim guy says on here is true the takeover will be completed around the 22nd at the earliest.

KTJ Abu Dhabi

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmmmm to the last post your a complete nutter in something so let's work it out shall we

Snodgrass, Clayton s***e only good when he has the ball and team plays well and Lonergan that three players

So Kenny premiership goalkeeper bought him in 500.000 - 600.000 plus wages that 1

Jason Pearce 500.000 performance related cost another 500.000 and wages young player gifted strong and wanting to play for us That 2

Adam Drury 400.000 from premiership Norwich and club captain hood knows his job strong that's 3

Paul Green free played in the Euros but still have to his wages that's 4

David Norris 400.000 good goal scorer and gets about the pitch good engine thats 5 still got to pay his wages

Rudi AUstin 350.000 wicked player is supposed to cost 2million but would not sign new contract and wanted to play for us that is 6 and wages

Luke Varney played and has scored in premiership for blackpool cost around 300.000 plus wages that 7

Not to mention Jamie Ashdown plus his wages

Lee Peltier 750.000 supposed to be today and his wages that 9 in we signed 5 in one day

With regards to all of these they were all signed before we sold Snodgrass remember and take into account firstly we did not want to sell him second they have only given us 1.5 million up front do the maths

Also we are supposed to be getting two more in

Agree0 Disagree0

To the last poster, you need to get your facts right before insulting people. You are totally wrong about the fees
