im hearing that GFH have identified Roberto di Matteo as the man they want to appoint if Neil can somehow pull off promotion & he will be given 30-40m for transfers. However, if we fail to go up, Nigel Adkins has been earmarked as Neil successor. source - my friend works at elland road. MOT

Gfh have more than 40million they Are the real deal but not stupid like man city. Why pay more than you have too by declaring how much you have to spend. GFH are backed by a multi million pound invested from the Middle East. The fun will start in the summer

Personally I'd prefer Adkins to Di Matteo, and the longer he goes without being 'snapped up' the more likely I feel it could happen. .

I think a lot of people are looking into the Chris Burke thing at the wrong angle. I do not think for a moment GFH have 30-40 mil. But the reason I think they didn't give the extra 200k for Burke is not becuase they don't have it but because they didn't feel he was worht it. Just because you have the money doesn't mean your going to buy a player e.g Cardiff City want a kid from League 2 and offer 1mil? The club turn around and say no 2 mil but Cardiff do not think he is worth that, they aren't going to pay the extra just because they have the dosh, you buy players on what you think they are worth/reasonable, GFH thought for what he is worth, his age and his quality he may not have been worth the extra 200k, just a thought. I despair. Really, I do.
The GFH plan, as they've stated, is to prudently and sensibly run the club into the promised land.
All this talk of 'x million' this and 'no money' that is pointless speculation by people who just don't seem to have the brain power to grasp a simple concept.
GFH is not going to pump tens of millions into the running of Leeds United that Leeds United is not bringing in in revenue. These guys aren't stupid and they're doing the right thing.
If I were to speculate, I'm pretty sure that GFH will invest where and when deemed necessary. that is most likely to be in the summer and I make them right.
Fair play financial rules are coming in which will probably lead to a number of big clubs looking to trim their operating budget by selling off cheap or loaning out.
There will be some serious bargains to be had this summer, when Papa Smurf his 20th century dinosaur manager will be finally out of the picture. watch this space.

30-40million? do some homework into the financial assets and liquid assets of GFH and its other operating companies, I think that you will find that you are way off!
