if atkins refuses forest job the he has been earmarked for leeds in the close season.
click agree if you support this theory.

Believable145 Unbelievable87

Why anyone would want him is strange, all he's ever done is fail

Agree1 Disagree11

Yeah he only took saints up 2 divisions in succession, on a shoestring budget, playing good attractive football! What a failure!!

Agree6 Disagree0

Is it the atkins as in the ADKINS who was sacked by southampton? and he got back to back promotions, I don't class that as failing!

Agree3 Disagree0

Failed in what exactly, did a good job at Scunthorpe with no money, dragged Southampton from League One to Premiership, in two years. Its more than we've done at Leeds. Its not Adkins fault that most Premeirship chairman are mercenary and lack complete loyalty in a manager whose has actually done his job. Adkins is a great motivator of players.

Agree4 Disagree0

I don't understand why people are talking about the close season who ever takes over leeds needs to be on board as soon as play off hopes are out of the window any new manager will need time to asses the squad and see who will be in his plans if he waits for pre season to do this it will mean planning for the january window again we need new manager as soon as we can't make play offs to give any new manager a chance next season

Agree1 Disagree1

I hope if Leeds can get him that we fail in the same way that Southampton have done, all this SUCCESS we are getting with Warnock is making me far too happy.

I could see the scenario of him turning down Forest and not coming to us.
Forest have got through four managers in seven months even their fans think the club is a laughing stock so would a decent manager really want to go and work for such a chairman, after all he has just left Southampton on the whim of a chairman that shows no loyalty

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't think he will take the forest job and I think he ll probably already be working when Warnock leaves, but to say he only ever fails is nonsense.
MOT IrishWhite

Agree1 Disagree0

He was backed Financially at Southampton. If he comes to us he will have to sell the best players and take free signings

Agree1 Disagree1

Reply 5. That's funny

Agree1 Disagree0

Reply 6 - Fantastic reply!

Agree1 Disagree0

I would have him tomorrow!

Agree1 Disagree0

With Di Canio making noises he's not happy at Swindon we should grab him now!

Apparently a young lad, Patrick Otte is on trial with us and played in the latest U-21 game. Did a little bit of research on the fella, he is a left winger and 21 years old, learnt his trade with M'borough youth academy but they let him go after he got an injury in 2011. Could be an interesting prospect only 21?

Believable48 Unbelievable18

I think the guy is a midfielder isn't he?
ALSO habbbababa played for an hour tonight and didn't do much to write home about, think its a major mistake having him here Gj

Agree0 Disagree2

Jesus give habibou a chance you can't judge any player after coming of the bench for only 20 minutes sick of hearing are fans slag him of already only been at the club a few days.

Agree2 Disagree1

Habibou is an ego maniac. Hope he is booted out of yorkshire ASAP

Agree0 Disagree2

Habib haboubou will never score the goals required for promotion neithe will ross mcormack habibhasnt played much football this season and needs to get match fitness when he is match fit he will be a good bench warmer

Agree0 Disagree1

Unfortunataly Yabi Dabi Doo needs to hit the ground running, we are at a crucial stage of the season and can't afford to wait for him to find his feet?

Davide sommer to be released in summer. Saw him over in pavillion and he was saying how he loved leeds and hoped he would get a new contract. He was obviously not injured and seemed fed up not even making bench, this guy along with polion shoild be on the bench istead of all warnocks old cronies this club has been in free fall since appointing warnock as manager, people will stay away until this old hasbeen leaves our club.

Believable68 Unbelievable46

Most of the people who post things on this site can, t call themselves leeds fans start backing the club and staff or go somewhere else and moan, marching on together you don't know what it means.

Agree6 Disagree1

The op is entitled to his own opinion if you don't like it your not forced to read it are you?
if you don't like what most fans post then don't come on the site its not rocket science sunshine

Agree1 Disagree1

If you listened to Somma he said he was brought back to early for the Hull match and is not match fit yet he also said that he needs development team football to get him up and running.

Agree1 Disagree0

Totally agree, true fans will be there whatever, nobody forces you to go, too many moaning gits on here.

Agree1 Disagree1

And you should be Leeds Manager. Then you could get your whole team from the Dog and Duck onto the bench for the next match!

Agree1 Disagree1

Get real. Somma is not good enough, sure he scored some good goals in League 1, but look at his general play. no physical presence, no heading ability, just inclined to shoot from distance. we can do much better. glad to see him going if its true. Also no 'old cronies' up front have been signed by warnock.

Agree0 Disagree1

I thought Warnock had signed EHD Morison and Varney they are all old cronies

Agree2 Disagree0

This be the same Poleon who came on as a sub in his last game for the first team and got subbed hisself 15 mins later after he didn't get tight enough and let the opposition get a goal back?

Fawksey

Agree0 Disagree0

Some folks talk utter rubbish somma scored his goals in the championship somma needs to either go out on loan or start afresh in pre season to get match fitness

Agree1 Disagree0

7th poster - EHD and Morison are hardly old cronies!

Agree3 Disagree0

No way will somma be sold no chance. But I do agree with the rest of your comment. Wornocks lufc record is terrible. Mot

Agree1 Disagree0

What a load of crap, yet another reason for not attending and supporting the team. why oh why make excusses, just tell the truth you are only happy when you are having a go at the club and sitting in your armchair thinking up your next excuss

Agree0 Disagree1

Think you will find that somma scored 13 goals in are first year back in the championship get your facts right.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Feb 2013 18:41:14
somma is not pants. he just needs fitness. Do people think you can be out that long and just be fit straight away. probably take him a quarter of the time he was out to get anywhere near fully fit.

Agree1 Disagree0

Its a shame that a bloke whos heart is with the club could potentially leave due to the actions of a guy who won't let on if he is coaching here next year or not. Regardless of pyhysical build or stature, strikers are paid to score goals, and score goals he did.
Sinnyboy

Agree1 Disagree0

Give me somma any day over that oxygen thief habibou

Agree2 Disagree0

Most amusing when somebody slags anothers spelling and then goes on to make the same errors.
Now should be know.

Maybe I was slightly inaccurate with sommer info but I was reading between the lines with with what he said. If he wasnt ready to come back he should have told the manager. Reference to old cronies basically a dig at brown who is not the answer to our under performing midfield. We need width but as per usual he spends our money on another left back and an unproven strker from belgium who makes ricketts look world class. Also plays barkley out of position. Green tonge norriss better midfield at moment not getting a look in. He said white was going to get a chance and the week after he buys another left back on a long contract and that is whites only position he is good at. By the way been supporting team since 1972 and am a long time suffering season ticket holder and £550 quid says that I have got cause to moan because I am watching the quality of football played get poorer by the year. Its not quite the squad but the way the are been told to play hoof it long and forget the midfield that's probably why they are on the bench. All we want at the end of the day is entertainment win, loose or draw.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh Ed, the deleted post was decent (spelling?) By the way deleted poster here lol. {Ed013's Note - The post I deleted was slagging someone's spelling and grammar}

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesus christ there's always something to keep you 'fans' staying away isn't there, get over it and support your bloody club

Agree0 Disagree0

Old crones by definition means someone who has worked with someone for a long time. Varney Morison Diouf can't be called Warnocks old cronies by definition. Tonge Kenny and Brown fall into this category. Kenny has been good to us as has Tonge. Brown is consistent even if he has no legs anyway. He's still a bit of bite in midfield.

Crmd

Agree0 Disagree0

I Also think Somma will be released in the summer, injured for 18 months, not getting in the match squad and is clearly behind McCormack, Morison, Diouf and Habibou

i just can't see him staying

the development squad played yesterday, why didn't he?

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes you wonder he didn't want to risk giving a 29 year old who is yourtop striker more than 20k a week but happy to pay morison who has scored 10 goals in 18 month and 57 appearnces who is also 29 a 25k contract pure and simple leeds are a selling club new owners same selling politics any manager coming it would be dumb to take the leeds mantra of sell befire you buy or in leeds case sell befor getting a frrebie in

Agree0 Disagree1

Somma will be gone because quite simply there will be better options out there. If we want to be a top Championship/Premiership club then Somma is not the answer. A very good league one player YES but not where our expectations are I am afraid

Agree0 Disagree1

Somma is a difficult one. Natural finisher, as he showed in that brief but prolific flourish a couple of years ago. But he is 27, yet has very little professional experience outside of the uncompetitive US league, and whenever he has started a game (and I'm including before his injury) has looked very lightweight, and made very minimal contributions beyond scoring. Taking all that, and his injuries, into account, I find it hard to resist putting him into the same bracket as Nunez -has talent, but not going to take us up to the next level. Sadly, I think NW takes the same view -and I think most other ambitious managers of a club in our position would do the same. Tough game sometimes, as Robbie Rogers too will confirm. Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow didn't take you stay away fans long to pin another 'boycott' on just admit it that you don't really love leeds enough to come an watch them. No problem with people that can't make due to work or financial reasons whatever but pack it in with the stupid excuses lol.

Notts Forest after a new manager, can see Atkins going there, come on Leeds get him in

Believable35 Unbelievable33

They wouldn't sack NW he's been around long enough to put a clause in his contract for this very reason
foxrat

Agree1 Disagree0

Well, would he sign for Forest. the owners seems a bit unpredictable. .

Agree0 Disagree0

Afraid new owners of Forest are showing no ambition. Can't see a talented manager going there after the transfer window debacle

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll drive Warnock there mysellf

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Feb 2013 21:07:40
I can't see any manager worth his salt going to Forest, they are rapidly becoming as big a joke as Chelsea. Personally I would not have appointed O'Driscoll or McLeish in the first place but having done so they should at least have given them a chance!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm so glad we have warnock ( not ) and gfh are so ambitious
