"The PH fan club" is a phrase I keep seeing pop up for some reason! ? I honestly don't believe that one exists. What I think does exist, is a group who, after 14 managers in ten years, are sick to death of the instability that chopping and changing managers brings. Yes, we had a few really duff ones appointed, but the knee jerk sackings does not allow a style of play to develop.

PH comes across well. Am I a Fan?, of course not, as he hasn't proved anything yet, but he hasn't even had enough time on the training pitch with an average squad for his philosophy to gel.

It's something I made up as a joke, but seriously I struggle to see how anyone can think he's a good manager or has done well here. I'm more angry at AR for an unnecessary change and messing up our season. We had 48 points to play for when Heck was appointed, so definitely a massive missed opportunity for us to go up this season. This league is so bad this season and if we'd brought in Silva for 16 games, no doubt we'd have got top 6.

Think we should start a Silva fan club . he seems to be the messiah! got Hull relegated and left Watford up the creek without a paddle .

Ok SG, understand that bud. But the views of other coaches / managers is that he has ability. He just hasn't had enough time to imprint his game plan, his ideas on this "bunch". I personally like listening to his interviews. He understands the game very well. He is restricted by what he has to use. He hasn't proved, or achieved anything here yet, you're right, but needs a chance to instill his ideas, that's all I'm saying.

Brian McDermott came across well bright but did him no good. And has for other coaches and managers saying he had ability well come on pal there not going to say anything else unless they've had a fued in the past are they. I like listening to him too when all he does is talk about the other teams quality. No point getting rid now but if he don't get a grip soon then the writings on the wall as the vultures are circling all ready

Agree with you Brighty 14 in 10 is a record not to be proud of. Give the man a proper chance. Even if he loses today I will still say that if he experiments. Let him have at least a full season with his team playing his way. Even tho it may be an Orta team bought under a restricted budget. I think Radz had x pounds budget but listened in the winter too much to Orta and spent a chunk of it but would have been better suited to using it all in the summer.

Leodis giving him a whole season will result in relegation to League 1.

Do we really want To give him another season just to see if he can put his stamp on this team, he’s had enough time to do something but hasn’t, are you now saying it’s ok if we go down next season we should give him the chance, a big big risk, my view out now and bring someone who knows.

Martyn. Very good point regarding McD. was so full of hope when he was appointed, but another false dawn! And whiteman, no, relegation isn't an option, nor do I believe it to be a possibility. Even with our squad, which you were right to point out the weaknesses in, there will be teams worse than us. I'm just sick of chopping and changing managers. It doesn't allow the team to settle into a coach's system, and means starting from scratch again and again. Stability is essential for a while, even if you hate the gaffer.

I am on the get rid of PH wagon as don't think he has shown anything that TC didn't. My feeling is that he won't be able to attract the type of players we need to push for promotion or convince our 4-5 decent players to stay, feel we need a higher profile manager to do this (Silva) ? But I do feel alittle sorry for him as he inherited a squad low on confidence. I guess it's his job to motivate and get the best out of a bad bunch.

He is in a scary catch 22 position as fans crying out for youngsters to be used and I agree totally as season gone and need to know what he has to work with. The thing is though, he wants to keep his job and if uses them and they sink and Leeds get beat in last 6 games, he will probably be axed? But guess on flip side, if he plays them and we improve, he could be a hero ? My team for next game be- BPF, beradi, O'Connor, Pontus, Pearce. Veira, Anita or Rey Alioski, Siaz Clarke Ekuban ( Dalby to come on) What u think, what would your lineups be?

PH looking more and more like Hockaday 2.0. Don't see him being at the club long-term. I'm hoping Radz replaces him with someone superior in the summer.

Not a bad line up. Playing Anita in his correct position, radical thinking there Shad.

Unfortunately we're in a minority on here. Don't see what the fan club has been impressed with? It can't be his win rate.

I don't see why you should complain about not having a stable club when your asking the manager to be sacked after a few games, yes its not going very well, but if you haven't noticed he has been changing the team every week to try and find out who is **** and who is good, because he belives that we had no chance of reaching the play offs. he is telling radz that these players are shit and we need to sell them. he got a **** club like barnsley promoted, then with those players got in the top ten i belieive? then was forced to sell those players to clubs like aston villa who are now pushing on to promotion? i personally think he's not a fool and hopefully with a good summer can turn it around. having said that i'd instantly get silva in as he i really rate. but he will not come to leeds in the championship as he is a top class manager who wants top class football so until that happens we can jog on

And he can't see that in training?

06 Apr 2018 18:22:29
well partly yes but matches are always much harder and different than training. plus, aekoban for example links up well and works harder than other strikers but can't score for ****. he is giving him chances but will ultimatly leave because he can't score

Then try a young striker that is scoring?

Agree Shad Heckys most important conversation will be convincing Radz of the situation and the way forward. Potentially the cheapest way forward is the biggest gamble but it is one the should be made. He needs to say to Radz; either I can play safe, maybe park the bus a bit and scramble a few points or risk it and try youth who may blow up but equally may be a revelation. The riskiest but most rewarding is Plan B. but if it goes wrong, don't fire me. It really needs doing. PS and it will save you millions!
