Warnock is planning on staying beyond end of season, listen to his comments on Burke at weekend he said, that one is dead now until the summer, does that sound like someone who is leaving end of season no. gfh when they came in said Warnock was partly the reason behind them buying the club, there plan along with Warnock, which will prob already have been agreed is to consolidate this season then invest in the summer and have a right go then, come on did there actions in the transfer window give you the impression they were planning on promotion this season no, because if they did you can guarantee it wouldn't have been habibou on loan it would have been Burke at any cost, so they won't sack Warnock because deep down this season isn't what matters next season is, different story if he loses 3 out of 5 games or something next season he would be gone then.

I totally agree, next season GFH will say to Warnock get us promotion and here is x amount of money. They are not stupid people. People have been doubting em since they have come in but some people like yourself know the real deal.

Agree1 Disagree0

I know what you're saying, but remembering Warnock's comments from when he first arrived, he basically said this (12-13) would be his last season and "one more shot" at getting a team promoted (mostly to satisfy his ego). Nigel Adkins ftw MOT!

Agree2 Disagree0

Disagree. NW merely reporting information. He's gone in may in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

If they wanted longevity they would be looking at a manager who ISN'T on the verge of retiring, either this year or maybe next. .

Agree0 Disagree1

Problem is they are losing supporters through not engaging with them and a lack of investment in the team, many of us fans have stopped going who have gone for decades, they claim to know how the fans feel and still kept Bates on big mistake massive.

Agree2 Disagree0

Lol burke wouldn't get us up anyway he's very average

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sick of hearing, "this season is not what matters, next season we are going for it" been listening to that bull for last 3 years! Every season matters!

burke is a decent player but with is contract running out was not worth the 750k + asking price when a few months down the line pay nothing.
i think our defense as finally molded together and we can push forward. I don't think it will change anytime soon so looks like warnock will be on the bench until whites performances drop off.
yes N. warnock did say he was only having this season but I feel he has still got the hunger for the game and will stay another season if we don't get promoted this season.
we are still in a strong position in the league to go for playoffs.
if we don't go up I don't think we need much more than a couple wingers added to the squad. maybe a striker depending on how habibou turns out and a creative midfielder as we can't sign barkley on a permanent deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock is gone in the summer, GFH have already been putting feelers out to get the man that they want at the helm, from what I have heard he is employed by a club at the moment so GFH are in discussions about compensation with the board of that club.
They want to keep the talks out of the limelight at the moment and haven't released any clues about who they want so there are no media distractions from the talks and it doesn't disrupt Leeds's season or the players of the club he is leaving.

Agree0 Disagree1

Pretty sure that their activity in the transfer window signalled an intent to do the best they could this season without overspending on players as clubs so often do in this window.

It's an elastoplast transfer window - only any good for desperate consolidation to avoid relegation, or getting that extra important player in for that final push.

We've strengthened the squad without breaking the bank. Have no doubts - we will go for it the rest of this season, it makes no sense not to. Whether we do it or not, the summer transfer window signals our true intent.

Agree0 Disagree0

GFH won't stick with Warnock. His tactics are making the fans unhappy and keeping them away which is not what they want. If Warnock stays expect another season of hoofball that won't get us anywhere.
Agree with one of the posters above though it would be nice if GFH came out and did a press conference to tell us there long term plans, I'm guessing though that it may unsettle some of the current staff both backroom and playing and so they are waiting till the season ends.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just my personal opinion is that Neil Warnock will want to complete what he came here for, whichever season that might be, But! Leeds have out played their last two opponents, are 6 points behind a play-off place, and there’s 51 points up for grabs – I don’t think ANYBODY in the club has written off that it might be this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think Warnock has given an other vibe than wanting to get the job done but within the time frame given last year. Agree with others he's unlikely to be around next season.

Adam Pearson in at top level, Bates removed from club completely and an ambitious younger manager needed and only then will the crowds and season ticket holders return.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its simple. warnock has bitten off more than he can chew and now the owners are unsure what to do, so they have not gone crazy in jan. makes sense. I think nw will be here next season and I think he will be backed in the summer. watch this space. mot!

If we lose next two games away to Wolves and Boro Leaving us 9 maybe even 12 points off playoff Warnock WILL get the boot to make way for new manager to build for next season.

There are about 17, 18 games left a possible 51 to 54 points to get Warnock knows his job and players they will give everything from now up until the end of the season so just get behind the team Warnock won't be gone yet Leeds will be up there challenging for promotion we do have a strong squad and its capable of it Leeds ls6

Agree2 Disagree1

I totally argree with the post 3 or 4 games if we lose didtance with the play offs a new manager will have to come in to give a manager time to asses the squad and to see what's needed where and to plan incoming and out goings for pre season if we wait till end of season we will have the working towards january speech

Agree4 Disagree0

Can we just STOP being so dam negative all the while?

IF we lose the points, then is the time to have a go. .

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock should have been given the boot months ago. we had more chance of promotion when grayson got the sack but bloody warnock told most of the team they were rubbish and its been downhill since. He has now brought in his so called team of ex relegation fodder and what else would you expect from a team who in there respective teams were underperformers, because he put togethera team on the cheap.

Agree1 Disagree1

Why wait. Worse football I've ever seen at ER. Get him out asap.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good to see that most of you disagree. No time for change this season. Let´s stick with NW. The situation is that we def need 11 wins from 17 games. Wolves game not necessary but good if it comes.
Can we make it 8 in a row at home? Then we need 3 away wins. Wolves Ipswich Charlton Blues are in hand plus we need one or two draws. Tough but not impossible.

Agree1 Disagree1

Wasnt worse football youd ever seen when we beat tottenham and everton right? I thought! everyone so negative about everything. so embarrassing calling you a leeds fan!
and yes I do go to every game so I can comment!
