New Poll - Are you happy with Leeds United's start to the season? {Ed013's Note - Click on the Leeds Editor page and the polls are at the right hand side}

Yeah happy with it, whether we maintain it though is another thing.

Very happy.

Signings of Scott Wotton & Luke Murphy, two players with real potential.

The academy seems to be progressing well with the likes of Poleon and Mowatt.

Very promising.

Think were doing ok but because we dropped points in our home games ill say we could do better!
saying that we got points away from home something we haven't doing last season which evens it out a bit so?
on the plus side we have no one to fear this season not like last season when we were wondering where we were going to pick up points to stay up? this season I don't fear any team home or away which is a great felling

Very un happy. Smith not good enough, Hunt not good enough and Murphy has done nothing except get outplayed. Only positive is Wootton. Mowatt had it easy in a 4 man central midfield against lowly Donny and Poleon so far hasn't cut it.

Well for me, its not too bad, I think we all know we need at lease 2/3 quality in there but we can't give warnocks old school away which I believe has held us back, I am a season ticket holder and trust me from watching that dross last year at least you can say they are battling and ain't that is what we are about? if you can see them giving there all "for the shirt" we`re leeds ain't we! smith will develop as will poleon, murphy I rate, hunt is a worker but not an out and out striker and varney is putting in a shift, this is yet another new squad and new manager with for me better tactics, long season ahead positive, we are building and hopefully a few additions will improve, ty .

tony1966 on on on!

Lol, i'd like to add, i'm 47, first game was when I was 6 and we lived in durham and my uncle was a leeds fan so took me and yes my worst ever memory is being taken to watch sunderlands fa cup win bus tourage, so been through it all with leeds, "leeds for life" that's what makes us, us!

As ross mac said after last weeks defeat we should be 3 points better off, should have beat wednesday and drew v qpr, but all in all, 8 points is a good start, as pointed out in reply 1 whether we maintain this form is another thing, not getting carried away myself, thing this season is all about staying up and improving on the previous 2 seasons.

To me I think we have a fairly solid team with pontential. The youngster are looking great. A team good enough to play good football. The deadwood will be gone one day. All in all good fresh start.

I am just about optimistic - only a reasonable start - have seen 4 of the 5 league games. However, the style of play is so frustrating - we have not had many shots on target, our crossing is dreadful and the backpassing to Kenny from attacking positions in the opposition half is so frustrating. Really disappointed that we kept rubbish players like Browne, Pugh, Norris, Tonge and a few others. Warnock's defending has been suspect at best and his free kicks are not good. Cannot understand how Green is in the team and while Varney may have scored a couple, his wreckless tackles will prove costly and he does not run at players. Hunt is just dreadful - most disappointing on McDermott's part. I liked the look of Murphy but he lwas lazy against QPR and I think Smith has potential if the gets some good crosses to work on. Wootton could be good and I like Poleon as he tries running at players and gives it all. Oh for a Snoddy replacement! Overall, would have loved to see more new faces in the team and our lack of transfer activity I find most disappointing. Have supported Leeds for 40 years so well entitled to have a good moan!! PS How many of the current players' names would you be proud to have on the back of your jersey?
Unfortunately, one hand would be enough for counting them.

im happy with the start we have already been higher than we was at any stage of last season .
we have only lost 1-0 to a team that is expected to win the league .
i feel we have a solid and balanced squad, we can look at the bench and see players that can make a difference if brought on.
poleon looks dangerous and I feel he will score plenty of goals this season .

Agree0 Disagree0

Best start to a season we've had for a long time, and if we get a few loan signings in.might just have a good season.dont disappoint BM get some players in.we don't need many just that star singing NWsaid he would get us never did.great work so far

Agree1 Disagree1

Best start to the season? Played 7, played poorly in all of them, only scored a few goals. on yer own

Agree0 Disagree1

Bet all you do is sit on yer own at home on a matchday when what you should be doing is getting behind the team and the manager at the ground {Ed013's Note - Remember, some people can't afford to go}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well actually I miss the league 1 days when we outplayed everybody, even the likes of Liverpool in the cup. We had pace back then, Gradel and Beckford. We had class back then, Snodgrass and Kilkenny. What do we have now? A bunch of lower league players being outplayed by everybody. I ain't driving 270 miles, £30 for ticket to watch players like Hunt and Varney

Agree0 Disagree0

You stay aways no who you are your letting the club down big time aswell as the manager and the players don't know how you can do it I love this club to much not to go

Agree0 Disagree0

If you don't want to bother turning up now then stay away for good we don't need fans like you that only turn up for the good times a proper leeds fans goes no matter what the situation
