How could anybody possibly give any sensible reason for why Matteo would be suitable to be manager of Leeds at one of our most important times in our existence. He was a very good player for us and he has my total respect for what he did, but he has no managerial experience not even as a coach or assistant manager so why would anybody appoint him when we are crying out for somebody with a strong proven track record. If he is appointed then that will be it for me I cannot continue to support a club that would be capable of making that decision.

GFH are desperate for breathing space. There are loads of questions that they cannot answer which will be asked by a serious long term manager. Matteo has presumably seen all the games and has been well managed through his career. He will be asked to find us one win and one draw.
On the same basis, they could ask Eddie Gray

Unusual article in YP. Headlines Redfearn era ends in defeat. They know something we don't? Surely it's begins with defeat? Maybe they got the inside scoop because Dom Matteo is the new manager.

Matteo, matteo. why would they appiont someone who has not even been an assistant before, even if he did score one great goal

It doesn't say his era ends in defeat. It says the "first game" of his reign ends in defeat. There's a difference.

I am not the original poster.
The article on the Internet yesterday evening said "era".

Got a feeling matteo could be put in charge for a bit, seems likely after his sudden movement in odds
