We really need Jansson to get booked next two games so he can be back for the playoffs. Unless he wants to surprise us all and not get booked again this season.

No he didn't Alf. He hasn't been booked since 25th Feb against the Wendies and even then he won the ball!

Were you at the game SG? I was in the east stand opposite it and he got nowhere near the ball. Stupid booking like a few he's got this year. Needs to cut them out so he is available for every game!

Isn't the slight recklessness part of his game though? if he put a lid on his passion it might make him less effective overall. some players just like going in hard and fast and when it works its a joy to behold.

the cut off/ reset date was the second sunday in March so unless he is on 14 bookings and I think he is currently on 12 he should (fingers crossed) be OK til end of season

Wilsosd - I think Pontus' booking are for overall bookings throughout the season - I might be wrong (not had chance to Google) but there is no cut off date and he can be banned in the play-offs. Also Alf, I agree with you. The 'slightly' reckless nature to his tackling is part and parcel of his game and his aggression is probably what frightens the bejesus out of centre forwards. However, a lot of his bookings are needless and he needs to curb his enthusiasm - especially when diving in on the half way line! MM
