Agreed fee with Sheffield United for sharp (500k) no bid put forward as of yet. Loss on my opinion would much rather sell morison or doukara

Yes just read that on sky ,I would rather see Morrison go but sharp has not been a great goal scorer!
We were lucky that we had goals in midfield otherwise we would have gone down .
Middlesbrough and Derby seem to be spending big money with the sides relegated from the premier league have to say I think top ten will be hard ,but we can hope .
thought it was really weird that last season we beat a lot of top teams and then lost to mid-table bottom teams .

Doukara could be quite the player if used properly, which Redders failed at. He's quick, strong and his finishing last season was excellent. His attitude stunk but can you blame him the way he was treated?

I agree doukara was really good at the start and shone under hockaday and milanic where few things actually went right for the team, then he scored crucial goals under redders when he was caretaker which helped redders get the job and then was ditched, along with antenucci and sloth

Good deal for Leeds -Sharp not going to help us progress; out of his depth in upper Champ now.

Agree with Smitch Doukara got a raw deal last year. Think he will excell with Rosler. Sharp decent but not the striker to take us forward. No comment on morrison,

Out of our forwards selling Sharp makes the most sense. Roslers prefered formation is 4-3-3 which means a tall, physical striker that can either score or hold the ball up (Wood, Erwin, Morison and Doukara if he stays on his feet for more than five minutes)or someone that can play a bit wider cutting in from the wing or delivering crosses (Antenucci and Doukara can both cover out wide).
His other formation is 3-5-2 (not a fan tbh),which would suit Sharp, but assuming Wood is assured a place (at least early in the season) then Antenucci and Doukara have to be ahead of him for the second spot on the merit of both outscoring him last year.
Also it makes financial sense. We will get £500k (More than we would get for Morison or possibly Doukara) and remove one of our biggest earners from the wage bill.

Any player who has to drop a division will lose wages and footballers are on such a high salary That the difference runs into thousands. I think every player and there agent will try to get a payout. Living in Sheffield I talk to lots of Blades fans who don't want him.and are definitely against the swap.
